Big win for me because I've been going to the gym even though I've been feeling stiff and sleep has been hiding from me. There is a salt option during this massage that is supposed to help relaxation and breathing. I had him use that part of the time and then asked for just music to relax. JC was amazing. He worked the knots out of my hamstrings and massaged the tightness out of my neck and shoulder. He really knows his craft and I am glad I found this location. It's located in a very empty mall, and owned by a lovely, professional Chinese couple. Prices are on point! If you're not familiar with Chinese massage, they do a super deep massage- you will be beaten (in a good way) and feel amazing after. You are fully clothed and behind a screen, so out of view from general mall people. Be open about how much pressure you want and whether you have particular sore areas. *Side Note: I'm currently going to Moffitt for cancer chemo treatments and this is my new "cheer up" activity on my treatment days. They were so tight from traveling. My massage therapist spent about 5 minutes of my 60 minute massage on my shoulders. I would describe my massage as a glorified back rub. There's no attention given to knots or tight areas....no working them out. Paid my $83 plus tip....not sure why I left a tip. Not money well spent.
