I was told the Street Sounds proprietor (Rocky) is usually in by 1pm; it was already past 1:30 when I left a voicemail on the number on the business card, and waited another 10 minutes in case he just went to get coffee or something. He never called back. The least they could do was update the site to alert people to the change, but they obviously do not care. Beyond unacceptable!

However GC is good for picking up basic supplies, and great if you want a simple set up for your guitar. The repair team at this location is supremely helpful, and above all else accessible. Most experienced luthiers in the neighborhood act like you should kiss their feet for gracing you with their presence, only working three days a week (if they feel like it) and charging outrageous hourly fees. Guitar Center is affordable and always there. That's something I appreciate.

Today after flagging down three people to simply get a pedal out of a case I gave up after half an hour. On two previous occasions things they listed as having in stock they couldn't find. This is why companies like Sweetwater will continue to take over more of the market... All my orders have arrived within 36 hours from Sweetwater.
