From our initial contact with his wife, Addy, through the receipt of our final video package in the mail, Julian and his team completely blew us away. Our big day took place at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute on Oahu. It was clear from the outset that Julian and his crew had filmed there a gazillion times. They knew exactly where all the good spots were, took amazing shots of us, and also incorporated some stunning (and well-timed!) footage of our silhouettes at sunset, waves crashing against the shore, etc. The crew was also really mindful of creating symmetry in the video. When my bridesmaids and I were on our way out of the bridal suite, we were on a tight schedule and debating whether we had time to do a quick champagne toast. One of Julian's camera dudes commented that the groomsmen did a whiskey toast so it would be good if we did our champagne one. And so we did, and boy, did it look good on film when they cut the footage back to back! Their skill was especially evident when they played our same day edit (SDE) at our reception for us and our guests. Within seconds of the SDE playing, my eyes started welling up with tears. They had done such a beautiful job of capturing the many emotions we were feeling that day that I couldn't hold it in! We were already so impressed by their portfolio and knew their videos were amazing, but the end result was still so much more than we could've ever hoped for. We got countless compliments from friends and family about how much they liked our SDE, how well it captured our special day, and how they were impressed by how fast Julian and his team worked. One of my bridesmaids loved their work so much that she asked Julian to come out to San Francisco to film her wedding this year, too! Several months after our wedding, we received our final package with all the footage of the ceremony, reception, first dance, cake cutting, speeches, bouquet, and garter toss. The quality was superb and the footage well cut. One year later on our anniversary, we sat down and watched it all again. We loved going through all the videos and reliving one of the best days of our lives together. And a year later, despite having watched the SDE a whole bunch of times throughout the year, when we watched it again, I still teared up. :) In all honesty, I watch that one the most often, and it never ceases to give me the feels. Let me just say I was a little nervous when I was looking for a photographer . Coming from…read morePasadena to the Garden Isle, I wanted someone who could capture our 20th wedding anniversary. I just wanted some simple couple and family pictures. I read all the Yelp reviews, and even though Keith was not the first photographer I reached out to, in my opinion, he was the best for us. He was quick, responsive, professional and made everything so easy. I never even had to give the shoot a second thought. He suggested a beautiful location and confirmed day before shoot. All those little things matter! On the day of the shoot, the island had bad traffic. I messaged Keith because we were going to be late. Again, there was a quick response, and he was understanding and was willing to wait for us. When we finally arrived, he was smiling and still was not rushing us. I was so stressed when I got out of the car, but Keith's calming presence was appreciated by all of us. Keith, the photos are amazing. It blew us away. Thank you for capturing our special moments . Me and the hubs…read morehad a civil ceremony in our hometown of San Diego but wanted some nice "wedding style" photos while we were in Kauai for our honeymoon. First and foremost I reached out to about 3 other photographers on the island, the prices were a bit high for a short session. Also because I wasn't familiar with the area I asked the other photographers if they had any suggestions, most of them were pretty vague and didn't give me much feedback. I e-mailed Josh via his website, he replied pretty quickly and I sensed the enthusiasm in his e-mails he suggested a few places in the vicinity of the area we were staying at, I Googled them (all really beautiful) and his prices were very reasonable! He was our dude! Josh is really a chill and nice guy and also very professional (he was early and flexible with our meet time) and makes you feel relaxed throughout the whole session. Even the hubs who isn't really the let's pose and take pictures type said it was a cool experience. We will really cherish these photo keepsakes when we're old and gray and the great memories of our stay in Kauai. Thanks Josh!

We placed a $2,000 deposit with Enoch for a wedding event at the Kauai Marriott (Now Royal…read moreSonesta). Enoch seemed like a great person and we were excited to have our wedding. Then Covid came and our wedding was cancelled by the venue (he worked for the venue) and we were directed to him when contacting the venue. After that, we reached out to Enoch to have our deposit refunded. Considering no work for the wedding had been done yet. 0 decisions made. Nothing outside of the deposit to secure the date. He agreed to our request but asked if we would wait until business was better for him as Covid had his him hard. He was a nice guy so we happily obliged. Well after that he has been 100% unresponsive to all calls, email, or Instagram messages (he is active on there). It has now been 3 years and we assume we will never get our money back or and services from him. I would highly recommend against using his services regardless of any positive reviews you see. I have no doubt he may put on a good wedding, but businesses that steal money should never be trusted. I would be happy to update this if he ever reached back out to me. I really do feel he is a nice guy, but I doubt he will ever reach back out to correct his mistake.
