Total Being Yoga studio proved to be all that and more! My GPS took me in the wrong direction and I missed my scheduled class. I called the studio and the owner, Mian, was so friendly and accommodating. I was immediately offered another class session that fit my schedule. Upon arriving at the studio, I was graciously given a swag "Total Being Yoga" baseball cap for my troubles. Southern Hospitality at it's finest, with a wonderful yoga experience!

The facility feels very clean and is stocked with everything you could need. I found the instructors specifically to be very approachable and eager to chat after class. I loved the intro special and found it to be a good deal compared to some others I have seen. One thing I LOVE about Y2s classes is how challenging they are. I think it's important or yoga teachers to toe the line between making a class challenging but also accessible to everyone in the room. I think Y2 does this perfectly. The feeling of leaving a Y2 class is a feeling of accomplishment and achievement. For me, the music is very motivating! And I noticed the more instructors I tried, I found some that had similar music tastes to me (these were my favorite classes :) ) LAST THING! Location is top tier for me. I love that shopping center and it's just one (of the many) reasons why I love this studio.

I arrived for my free…read more11am class and was greeted by the friendly receptionist (failed to get her name), and I had to sign a waiver first. She took us on a tour of the studio. It's a small but very comfortable space. I feel like it would never get too crowded here. I tried the Hot Core workout. It's a 30-minute workout in an infrared sauna room. You will SWEAT! there is a TV in the room that plays the video, and you are able to follow it at your own pace. Even if you don't do a certain move, they show, just taking a rest. You still are sweating, so it doesn't feel like you are missing out. By the time I was done, I felt like I had done much more than any other gym class I had ever done. I also love the fact that they do have an open weight room so if you don't feel like getting into the sauna, you can just go lift weights or use any of their other machines they have available. The price is super reasonable compared to other places. $50 a month for unlimited access to one studio of your choice or $80 a month for unlimited access to ANY studio location ANYWHERE! The best part is they are 24/7! You get your own code to be able to access it at any time!!!!! Now I don't have yo rush to try to make a certain class time. There was literally 1 patron in the darkened studio working on a machine, nothing else going on but I was told I would have to reschedule for another day. They could have shaved 5 or 10 minutes off my session and that would have been fine. A little too rigid for something that's supposed to be a stress reliever and enjoyable. I will join the YMCA for half the price and a whole lot more flexibility. This may explain why they have an empty studio.

It's out the way, but you're if in area, that's perfect. I already do hot yoga weekly and this session was hotter than the studio I go to. So I would not recommend beginners start with this class. Overall was a good experience. I enjoyed the hotter temperature. Good flow, nice speed. I just wish the instructor had a mic hooked to her so we could hear her a bit more clearly. They also provide cold mini towels at the end of your session and ice pops! This place always caters to people who wish to go to a sauna, cold plunge, and gym workouts. Those are more for people who have a membership with this establishment directly. I'd come back.

When I walked in the studio there was no one at the desk. I wandered and found the bathroom to change after work. Then I followed suit to the other people and figured out where the yoga room was. No instruction, no welcome, and no idea what was going on. Hot yoga was unbearable and definitely not welcoming to new people. So fast and the instructor definitely could see the struggle. Usually when you are new you get a rundown of the place, of the different class options, guidance on form during class... nope. Won't be back
