I booked a session with her for my birthday this past October and the experience exceeded my expectations. She was very professional, scheduling a consultation before we even set a date to answer all my questions, go over details, and to set expectations. Leading up to our shoot, we shared a Pinterest inspiration board. I had outside-of-the-box boudoir ideas and Natalia was extremely receptive to capturing something beyond the ordinary. When the day arrived, I got to spend a few hours playing the ultimate dress-up and indulging the fantasy-nerd in me. I felt confident, empowered, glamorous, and alive! Natalia was warm and vibrant; made me feel like I was hanging out with my best friend. As a woman and a mother, herself, she really understood my feelings and helped me bring out the best in myself. While the shoot took place during the flatter part of the COVID curve, she took all safety precautions and I felt very safe during our session. Several weeks later, I got a beautiful album and series of photos that truly reflect my inner goddess! Definitely one of the best investments that I've ever made. I never felt rushed. She did not seem like she was in a hurry. She made sure I was positioned to be the most flattering and would help me adjust things as needed. Once my session was over, she explained to me the process for getting my album. She gave me options for the cover and let me choose the photos I wanted in the album. Along with that came a flash drive with all of my photos taken on the day. Within two weeks my album arrived at my door and it is beautiful. When…read morewe first talked, I explained that this was a surprise gift for my sister, who was expecting. She told me her pricing, and she was within my price range. Her photos were beautiful. Therefore, I decided to book her. She sent me her invoice and explained that I would get $50 off if I paid via Venmo. That was my first mistake. She after I booked her, she never sent me a contract with any details. I RECEIVED NOTHING. She let me know that I needed to notify her within 48 hours of the baby being born. My sister had her baby in late January. I informed her that the baby was born. I then proceed to provide her my sister's e-mail address. She had my sister booked within a week of my niece being born. They wanted family photos with the baby. She did make it work for them, so her partner could be part of it. I did appreciate that. After the shoot, my sister called me and said Nicole was terrific. She was great with the baby. Nicole let me sister know she was swamped but would do a sneak peek within 48 hours, and within two weeks, she would receive her gallery. She did not post the sneak peek picture until 3/5 on IG. Weeks had passed, and no pictures. I reached out to her, and she let me know turnaround times vary on her schedule because she was a birth doula. Had I had known this, I maybe wouldn't have booked my session with her. In late March, our Governer issues a shelter in place. Her county was not affected, and she continued doing shoots. Fine, not my concern, but unfortunately, it makes you upset to know you don't have your photos. Nicole had previously hosted a live video on IG, saying that she did not have to explain to her clients what she does with her time. I found this so odd, but now I understand. I reached out to her again and tell her my sister has postpartum, and I would like the images to try and cheer her up, and that because it has taken so long, she thinks she lost them. She replies with a defensive e-mail, saying that even though these are precious moments, there are more important things going on in the world. REALLY? You shot them 2/8 on 3/15; you still hadn't sent pictures. Yet, I need to be understanding. In all my communication with her, I was friendly and kind. My sister didn't get her pictures until NINE WEEKS after the baby was born. I am all for women who dabble in many things, do you, girl. Yet, you can't have this as a business practice. People spent a lot of money and trusted you with one of the most important things in their lives, and this is how you treat them? It is poor business etiquette. She did offer 20% OFF another session as an apology for the delay. WHY would I book again with her if she took that long to produce my product! She takes on more work than she can handle. I wish this experience would have turned out differently. If you want to wait for pictures, she is the photographer for you.

She was easy to work with and we have amazing shots from every event she did for us. She also did a shoot a month before my Mom's wedding where my Mom and I went to Glamour Shots got our makeup done then got in our dresses for my Mom's wedding and did shoot. It was nice to have the mother/daughter photos where it was just us. We also did the same thing before my wedding to do a test run on hair and makeup. LOVE those Mother/Daughter photo shoots. Though I've never reviewed a photography studio, I'd like to give this studio and couple a shout out. I came here one evening for a boudoir photo session, and was expecting to find a bed. Something that I'm used to seeing during boudoir sessions. However, no bed was to be found. I was confused but also very curious as to why this was. I went to change into my first outfit and shyly walked out. I sat on a chair and the rest was history. Before the shoot: Laura spoke with me and told me what to expect. She laid out the plans to have a cabaret style shoot and to bring my best lingerie. She did have a few things in the studio, she said, but as a plus size model, I purchased a few things to make sure I would be comfortable and fit. When walking in the studio, I met with Mark, her husband and the editor of the photos. He was very kind and offered a lot of support for his wife. It was nice to see a great couple working together doing what they love. During the shoot: Laura was very helpful. She offered poses that would not only make me feel sexy, but also direction that would make my body look fantastic in the photos. Unfortunately, one do the poses that I loved doing didn't make the final cut - if only I looked great in that one. It was one of my favorite things. She had me balancing with one leg extended on a chair, "cabaret" style. She even put a laptop in front of me to see a small part of the movie to get me in the spirit. She offered music that was both comforting and fun, and the atmosphere was just.. beautiful. We worked very well and I felt my best working with her. It was wonderful. After the shoot: Laura and I agreed to a video chat where she shared my best images and I chose the ones that I wanted to edit. It was an easy process and it took only a few minutes. I was stunned to see how gorgeous they turned out. She offered a great variety to choose from and I was happy with my choices. The end result was a great experience and beautiful memorable photos. My husband was pleased and he loved the entire experience watching on the sides line and seeing the results. The only thing that I would recommend is a fan. It was quite hot under the lights, but aside from that - it was awesome! Thank you Laura for this experience and photography and Mark for your great editing skills!
