Purchased new firm mattress for my mom in January. The was a permanent dip in the mattress within a WEEK. A Mattress Depot manager and Mike my salesman confirmed based on my photos that this was clearly defective. They have now told me constantly for more than 2 months that the replacement will be on the truck "next week." I am thinking they are just trying to run out the clock on my patience. The really bad part is that now my disabled mom struggles even more to get out of bed as she is stuck in the depression of the mattress. read more

BEWARE!! We purchased a mattress set and headboard from them. My wedding ring was on the dresser when the two men arrived to deliver our mattress, but was gone when they left!! I called the owner immediately after they left and filed a police report. Although the owner, Summer Gaylard was cooperative during the investigation into which of them took it, once comfronted with the fact that she, as the owner is liable, regardless of which one took it, she denied liability for two reasons: Reason 1. She feels I was "negligent" because I "left it out in the open". So, in her eyes, all of your posessions that are in sight of her delivery people are fair game. I am certain she would not feel that way if it were HER ring that was stolen from HER home by what she thought was a reputable business. The only mistake I made was assuming that hers was a reputable business. Don't make the same mistake I did! Reason 2. She "cannot reimburse every customer that claimed something was stolen during delivery". HELLO!! If mulitple people are claiming items are missing there is a problem there! Maybe you should do background checks on these people before sending them into people's homes! On a second note...It has been a month and a half and we have yet to receive the headboard we paid for at the same time as the mattress. And no matter what they tell you to get you to buy the mattress protector...they DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO RETURN THE MATTRESS! We tried to return the mattress because of the horrible experience, and she refused to accept it. She said they do not accept returns. We were told when we purchased it that as long as we used the mattress protector, we would be able to return the mattress if we were unhappy with it. Needless to say, I will be taking her to Small Claims Court. read more

Just moved to TX, bought a king sized memory foam, they discounted the price for me, gave my husband and I a temporary mattress (sealed and brand new) even delivered it for free, at a really Great price. So after seeing their great service we bought two full sized pillow tops for our kids bunk beds, they discounted those as well for being returning customers.cThey also delivered these to us at no cost and even placed them on my kids bunk beds, they didn't just throw them in the house like I've seen other furniture etc business's do. The mattresses were clean, sealed and are in amazing shape today (we bought them 7months ago). I normally would steer clear of things that sound to good to be true but these were sweet deals, the customer service was one of the best, and that's why I would recommend them. read more

The store was clean, uncluttered and smelt fresh. I arrived with my aging parents, Dad in a wheelchair, and was promptly greeted by Brandy. There was plenty of space to maneuver my Dad thru the aisles to get him to the mattresses he wanted to try. We were looking for an adjustable bed and Brandy gave us all of our options and made the process quick and smooth and no stress! She even helped us with additional items we would need and said she would remove old mattresses at no additional charge. We left very pleased with our purchases. TCU students you must shop at this store!!! My daughter and I walked into this store at 3pm on Thursday desperate for a bed for her apartment. We drive a small car so delivery was important. We worked with a lovely lady who I believe was the owner Summerlan. She was helpful and kind. I asked if they had free delivery and she asked if my daughter went to TCU. We said yes and she said okay then its free. We bought a mattress, box spring and bed rails at 3:15pm and by 4:30pm THAT SAME DAY it was set up in my daughters room! So grateful to everyone at the store including the man and his daughter who delivered the bed for us. I would go back to this store in a heartbeat! read more

We had to sue Mattress Depot - case # JP06-12-SC00012439. We won the case against them. They sold us one mattress and delivered a completely different one, one that we specifically told the salesman we didn't want. They misrepresented their product, and the owner Summer Gaylord refused to make it right. We tried to work it out with American Express, but after Ms Gaylord submitted bogus documents to Amex we had to take them to court. It took many months to resolve. Mattress Depot refused to pay the judgment until a Constable showed up at their store with a Writ, ready to take their inventory and auction it off. Ultimately we were able to recover the judgment, our court costs and all the fees we were charged, with interest. We hope no one else has a similar experience. There are other mattress stores who have good customer service and who sell quality products. read more

Although the mattress I ordered from here was good quality, pretty much nothing else was. The headboard they sent me didn't fit the bed frame even though I ordered them together. The dresser they sent me was broken. They do not return calls well, and didn't even call me to tell me they wouldn't be coming by to deliver my items so I was sitting at home for hours waiting until I called them. Very unimpressed, will not be returning here. read more
