The delivery guys left it there saying the customer service would give us a call to schedule a replacement. We never received a phone call, so we called to schedule the replacement delivery. We had to wait an additional two weeks for it. When they gave us the delivery time window the day before the delivery, that time did not work for us, so we requested a different time or date. The representative helping us, then told us that the system showed that the replacement would not be available for 6 months or more. I just canceled the order. Now we have to wait two weeks for them to pick the recliners up, and then another week after that to get our money back. Such a headache! Not buying from them ever again!

We stopped by Preferred Mattress and provided some info about what type mattress we were looking for. Ed replied with three or four that they had in stock. We went to Macy's before to try them out but the sales staff was too pushy. After checking out a few at Preferred Mattress we picked out one we loved. It was placed in our bedroom later that day. They did a great job putting it together. The product is really great and wonderful for a person who needs physical and psychological support. Not I. I bought a new sofa at Ikea late last year. For a small fee (under $40), it was delivered. The restaurant on the third floor was a must-visit, but now food is pricier (everywhere, not just here). Still, maybe it's worthwhile for an old-time experience of sitting sit in a department store eating a warm meal in front of those big windows with views of Midtown and other areas of the city. Room for improvement: I think the store should open a little earlier than 11 a.m. on Sundays.

To our surprise, the opening time has changed to 11 AM. We left and came back at 11. Both of us always enjoy the displays that show you what you can do with specific amounts of square footage. The merchandising team at IKEA are so creative, they make use of every bit of space in their examples. IKEA is a huge store, but you can't get lost. All you gotta do is follow the arrows painted on the floor. They're there from start to finish. They'll lead you through; furniture, accessories, housewares, plants and more. When the arrows lead us through the frames and artwork, we got a giggle that they had copies of the Mona Lisa and Starry Night. My favorite area is the housewares, I can always find something that I need in my kitchen. However, on this visit I found a coat tree for my front foyer in the accent furniture area. It's going to be nice to have something to hand my coat on instead of throwing it on the chair. If you need assistance there's always an associate working nearby. As I shopped, I did notice the prices weren't as low as they use to be, but that is the case almost everywhere. However, it's still a good value.

I was literally for hours behind my computer and calling many places about once a year and obsessed with it once a year, because I knew that if I did not find these already mostly broken parts timely, soon I had to part with these futons ... I was so attached to the 2 futons I had that I held on to them. They are tropical futons with tropical woods that are perfect for a condo at the beach. You sit in the futon and look at the ocean. These futons lasted and looked very good on the outside, but rough and incorrect usage by guests for my Airbnb broke the snappers, invisible and integral parts to the futon. Well, Kari there at The Bed Guy located spare parts for me in yet another part of the country through her contacts. She went out of her way to help me out. I can only imagine that if she is that helpful to a customer who didn't even order the original futon in their store, how helpful they are to customers who buy there. For sure, customers can be certain of ongoing dedication to quality and extension of the life of their futon, no matter how rough you or family members or guests are with them, long after purchase.
