I just wanted to take a minute to review this store. I don't typically review retailers, but this…read moreone deserves it. My wife and I have been shopping for a new mattress for a few days and had been into Sam's looking at them. As we were leaving Sam's, I saw the Mattress Firm and we decided to go in and take another look. I say another look because we had actually been in another location yesterday. When we walked in, we were greeted by Jordan, who introduced himself and asked what he could help us with today. Then we all had a good laugh because we were in a mattress store, obviously we were looking at mattresses! Jordan warmed us that he was going to be asking us a lot of questions and that they were probably going to seem repetitive, but he was just trying to get us a mattress that was exactly what we wanted. All told, we probably spent an hour in the store. We tried multiple mattresses and we were never pushed towards anything, which was really refreshing! We found a mattress that we really liked and even ended up with one of the frames that elevates the head. Jordan asked me about one while were looking at the different mattresses, and I told him that I wasn't interested in one because it would be like a hospital bed. After we found a mattress we really liked, Jordan asked me if I had ever been on a bed that could elevate the head or feet. I admitted that I hadn't and he asked me if I wanted to see what it felt like. I thought what the heck, we're here anyway, so we tried it out. I wasn't crazy about elevating my legs, but I really liked being able to elevate my head. I had no idea I'd like it, and actually thought I'd hate it, but ended up buying it. All in all, a fantastic experience with an incredibly knowledgeable and personable salesperson. Next time one of the beds in the house needs a new mattress, I'm going back to see Jordan.

We told one of the sales associates that we were just looking (because who wants someone hovering while you are shopping) and he stayed away. However, he kept an eye out on us in a good way because adverb we had a question, he quickly made himself available. Then he would give us our space again. That was amazing! It's good to read your potential buyers and not hover. The prices were decent with nice quality furniture. He gave us really good information and when we are ready to purchase, we will surely return here and connect with the same associate. Side note, they have a cute coffee and candy area.

We ended up saving a large amount on a mattress and it was the most pain-free experience ever! We had done our research and were feeling overwhelmed at the sheer number of mattresses out there. We stopped by Preferred Mattress and provided some info about what type mattress we were looking for. Ed replied with three or four that they had in stock. We went to Macy's before to try them out but the sales staff was too pushy. After checking out a few at Preferred Mattress we picked out one we loved. It was placed in our bedroom later that day. She explained that they do not earn a commission, so she wanted me to get what I wanted, not what was most expensive. If I ever need a mattress again, I'll go back and I'll refer anyone I know to get their mattresses at Mattress Direct, specifically from Anne Marie.

For me, though, it was way overdue. I felt a lot better when I was told I could bring in my own pillow to try out on the beds. They also offer pillow napkins, if you prefer. Call back says never received photos. Send again, no word. Call again get Amanda who says otherwise girl out on emergency and she's going to help me. Says can't find documents sent so send a third time, says I need to submit form. Trouble finding form. Finally get form, submit it. No call, call again now says she will review and call me by 4pm. No call. Call back today told now manufacturer wants pictures of mattress standing up on side!! I'm 80 years old and a widow, no way I can physically pick up a king size mattress by myself. Tell her they will have to send someone out to which she says no way. At that point had enough blew up at her and she hangs up!
