I found mattress factory direct on Craigslist and I was in dire need of a bed I was on a budget and the gentleman that was helping me over the phone explain to me that their pricing is a little bit more expensive because the quality of the bed is good however He Blessed me with a $20 discount and even threw in 2 very good bamboo type pillows, as far as the delivery goes they were here early rather than on time or late, the delivery driver was very helpful he gave me my receipt along with their local ad this is definitely my new go to furniture store I live in the city of Buena Park and they delivered all the way to me from the city of Long Beach without charging me a delivery fee I am one happy customer and we'll definitely be going back soon to purchase some more furniture. Furniture store prices cannot be beat I called around over 20 different furniture stores for a bed and every single store wanted to charge me at least an extra $150 then they charged me once again thank you everybody at Mattress Factory Direct! This place sells poorly made garbage. I bought a dresser for what I thought was a good price, but the hardware bent and snapped within the first month of owning it. The way it was installed looked shoddy from the minute I got it into my apartment, but i couldn't check it at the store because it was tightly wrapped in layers of plastic and was being rushed. Lesson learned. I was using the drawers normally, and gently, but since the "hardware" is so cheap, it broke very quickly. I called asking if I could buy the metal/plastic hardware (that slides the drawer in and out), in order to fix and replace it myself. The people I spoke to on the phone gave me the runaround, eventually said it would be two weeks for them to order the part, and never called me back (it's been over a month). Save your money. This stuff is cheap for a reason. read more

Was in need of a dresser and found this business on OfferUp. I came to Yelp and noticed the reviews were pretty split but still took my chances. My furniture was delivered today and I'm not to sure how I feel about my experience. Juan Carlos was the one who was initially helping me with my order and was very quick to respond to get me scheduled for delivery. Welp, delivery was 3 hours later than they said and he never responded when I reached back out to him. The other people at the store assisted me though. David delivered our dresser and 2 night stands and he was awesome! He was the best part about the experience. The cons were not only that our delivery was late but also the knobs on the dresser were not the pictures I had seen. I thought they were going to be plain silver knobs and when everything arrived they were all jewels! David said they would replace it for me but when I texted the manager and sent pictures, of course no response. I had to pay to order 14 new knobs on amazon. The furniture was also a little bit banged up and I included pictures. Judge for yourself if you want to use this company. Feels like it is very hit or miss. read more

I found this place on Offer Up and decided to purchase a dresser. The one I wanted was $99 which wasn't that badThey offered a small delivery fee to get it delivered to my place. When I asked to be delivered after 3:30pm they said yes and also stated they would call me an hour before they were going to drop it off. I waited until 8pm and no call or message. I left my place to get food and get a call at 8:45pm saying they are there to drop of my dresser. I told them that they never called me and are going to have to wait because I left my home. Once they brought it in I payed them, they gave me a receipt and left. I unwrapped the plastic and it was scratched! I tried to message them through Offer Up about the scratch but they never replied so I decided to call the number on my receipt. Once I called and explained what happened with the delivery being super late and the scratch, they told me to send a picture of the receipt to a number and they would call me within 15 minutes after sending it. No call. I call the next morning explaining my frustration about this issue and they told me they can replace the dresser for me. So I let them know what day I was available. They told me they would deliver it between 12pm-5pm because I had work at 6pm. The guy who helped me told me they would call me in the morning to confirm the delivery. I had no call in the morning so I texted them around 1 pm asking if they're going to deliver it still and he replied saying no because they didn't have any deliveries headed out in my area. This was really upsetting because they've already wasted my time by having me wait for nothing. I have other things to do than waiting around at home hoping my dresser would come. When I explained my frustration and then them wasting my time I asked for AT LEAST the delivery fee back ($11) they told me they don't do refunds only exchanges. I wish I can give this place no stars. If I were you I wouldn't bother buying something from here. Let alone being delivered to you. They are unreliable and don't care about prioritizing customers with issues and doing everything possible to fix it and leave a good impression. Also, their Offer Up name was under "Brenda's Muebleria" for an FYI if you see them. They won't answer your messages if you have an issue. I had a delivery scheduled over a week in advance for a twin mattress, box spring, and frame to be delivered to my new home in Menifee on Saturday, 6/12/21. Per the text message - confirmation I received indicated delivery would between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. When I finally arrived in Menifee with my movers, I contacted Jose Lopez, who confirmed the order, to confirm I had arrived and wanted to reconfirm the delivery time. He responded back asking me to call the main office to confirm ETA. I called their main number - (562)232-8806, and the person I spoke with said the delivery was in route, but ETA was between Noon and 7:00 pm. I was to receive a call from the person doing the delivery 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. I unpacked while waiting, and at 7:00 pm No Delivery and No Phone Call. I called the office once again to find out what was happening. Once again I was told the delivery was in route, but now it would be 8:00 pm for delivery. I agreed to wait. Time passed, and at 8:10 pm - No Delivery and No Phone Call. I called the office again, but this time I got voicemail. I left a very stern message indicating they had until 10:00 am the next morning to contact me and explain what happened. At 8:30 pm I gave up, and headed to my Niece's home 2 miles away to stay the night there. At 8:55 pm I received a phone call from the delivery person. He said he was almost at the house, and would be there within 20 minutes. So, my Niece and I went back to my new home and waited outside for him. The truck with 2 delivery persons finally showed up at 9:30 pm. The 2 men did the setup, didn't even bother to take off the plastic covering the mattress and box spring, and left after payment. They didn't even bother to close the door behind them when leaving. Thankfully my Niece was close by and shut the door. The mattress is satisfactory, but the box spring is sub-grade; and, the lining wasn't attached properly or one side. The plastic on the box spring was difficult to remove because it had been staples into the folds of the material. I waited far too long for the delivery - A 7 Hour Window For Delivery, and Have The Delivery Made 2.5 Hours Past That? Seriously? To top everything thing off - Both of the Delivery Men Wreaked of Pot! I will NEVER use this company again! read more

Bad communication!!! Wanted to purchase a dresser. Found them on Offer Up to deliver the dresser. They told me they would deliver on a certain day and time. I had blocked out time out of my day and arranged for the delivery. They said they would contact me the day before or the day off. All I got was a phone call at dinner time from Compton. They didn't leave a voicemail or send a text. With all the spam calls these days, people are not going to call random phone numbers back. I actually had to message them since I didn't think I was contacted. They said they would be able to deliver again until a week later. So not even an accommodation for their bad communication. What company has a delivery 2 hours away but doesn't leave a voicemail or text. Or at least message the customer in some way. One phone call is all I got. Very unprofessional and lost my business. I purchased a "new, great quality" dresser via OfferUp for $160, and what was delivered to me is a really poor quality, essentially cardboard (no real wood) dresser, with drawers that are difficult to even move in and out (no tracks). I called the office over 12 times over the course of 3 days, and every single associate I spoke to took my information and said a manager would call me back within 30 minutes. I didn't get a single call back, and still haven't been able to reach a manager or speak to anyone who has the ability to handle this, and it's now over a week later. read more

I called them and they kept saying that they're in one of the drawers in the bed bed I kept telling them they weren't there. I'M NOT EFFING BLIND. We came to buy a bed set for our kid and we were very impressed with Andy our salesperson. We had lots of questions about mattress differences and set ups. They were even able to custom make our headboard because we had size restrictions. We would recommend anybody to come buy a bed-set here. We went home & measured again and asked that they change our order from a queen to a full. Andy says no problem & changes what my bill due would be. Ok good to go. Edit: 12 days later. Let the fun begin. I wrote the above the day we ordered our bed set. They asked me to write a favorable review in exchange for a small discount. Big mistake on my part. I'll never do that again. Here is the list of mistakes: Promised 7 day delivery. I had to call them on day 7 to ask when are we receiving delivery? "We are delayed due to weather, it will be 2 more days" huh, it's 65 deg in Long Beach...do they mfg bed sets & mattresses outside??! Day 9, mfg calls me to set up delivery. I ask are you delivering a Full set...guys says "no we mfg a queen". I said, "wrong needs to be full" they try to talk me into Queen at same price, I said no. At this point I'm calling my sales guy to see what he can do...but he has no pull or power. Doesn't offer to compensate or discount. Says he knows how I feel... Day 11, they call to set up delivery next day. When they arrive they are missing bunke board & brought box spring, wrong again. We have to schedule another bunke board delivery later that night, after 7:30pm. Delivery guy calls to say he'll be there at .9pm, ok. Oh and side note: there are 2 clearly missed stain spots. Delivery guys leave me extra stain to touch up myself. After bunke board is delivered, bed is set up by delivery guys(who I tipped, since they did a good job & operated with care) and they leave. So we begin putting on mattress cover & sheets...but nothing is fitting. We measure & compare to queen we have in master and guess what...they delivered the queen bed that was incorrect to begin with!!! Now I feel they have been deceitful with me, maybe hoping i would just take it. Since sales office doesn't want to eat the cost of mfg another set. Again another call to my sales guy...but no offer of making it right, changing it, offering discount. He says he knows how I feel he is a consumer too.
