So we came here (2/17/19) to buy a mattress. We had pick our mattress out and were at the transaction counter and we were trying to set up a delivery time and the guy (didn't even tell us his name) gave us 2 options and we were trying to figure it out before we paid for the mattress and the guy all of a sudden said, "well I have other customers and I think you should go somewhere else." So we were like ok then... and went to Green Frog Sleep Center which was 100 times a better experience and the guy gave us a 10% discount. Same bed for $600 less... and delivery on the day and time we wanted. Forget mattress firm... support your local business instead. You'll get better customer service and pricing. I'm just still blown away with the lack of customer service and thankful we got told to leave because god forbid we have to ensure we would be available for the delivery. read more

Decent selection but seemed to be heavily leaning toward pushing people to the more expensive foam mattresses. The salesman was polite and seemed somewhat knowledgeable even throwing in some cheesy sales lines like "I like your style" when I made a quick decision on the bed I was interested in. The reason for the low stars is the delivery and the lack of information. I was given a Saturday delivery window even though they promise same day delivery, given it was a holiday I decided it was no big deal. Saturday delivery however was 3 days later and I found out is an all day time window. I called after waiting until 4pm to be told by a different employee that delivery could be at 8pm or later. He made it see like they were very busy and it was my problem that they couldn't give me a solid time for delivery. He also used "ya know" 5 times in a single sentence, off topic but very annoying. When I ask why I have to give up my entire Saturday to wait, he again said it was because they were busy. As I write this, I am still waiting on delivery or a call back from the store with an explanation. My verdict, the selection and prices are similar to other places and the delivery scheduling is ridiculous. Go somewhere else and avoid the hassle. read more

At this point we are truly frustrated. We bought a Beautyrest Mattress in Early August from Mattress Firm in Virginia and was told that was not a problem that with a Mattress Firm in Savannah, Ga they could just have them deliver. It was delivered mid August. It was very nice and sleeps well only in December we noticed that is was beginning to bulge over one side. We contacted the Mattress Firm in Virginia and they gave us info to send in warranty paperwork. We did that and got a letter from them saying that based on our paperwork we live in a Franchise area and that Mattress Firm Corporate could not assist us. We were told to contact Simmons. Simmons Finally called back and said that Mattress Firm had to assist us. My husband went by Mattress Firm at Twelve Oaks and the person there gave us a number to call and after two weeks of calling and leaving messages we have not had anyone call us back. So three months into the year and the side getting worse we have had no help and we were told how good both Mattress Firm and Simmons were on honoring their warranties. NOT IMPRESSED! read more

The salesman Daniel talked us into a 5k mattress and after all said and done, mattress firm would not allow us to return the bed. We were very disappointed with the mattress. They would not honor what Daniel had originally promised us. The owner of the franchise, Adam Fazio threathened us with litigation if we kept inquiring about the issue. Very unprofessional and are swindlers. Avoid at all cost. Shop local and save the headache. read more

My wife and I had a good experience in shopping for a mattress with " mike". We purchased an iComfort mattress for almost $3,000. We could not get the mattress delivered for about 10 days. Looking at a Rooms To Go circular one day later, we noticed a similar iComfort mattress for price of about $800 less. We looked at the RTG mattress and it was fine. So we went back to Mattress Firm to cancel our order unless they could provide the same mattress. Mike looked it up and stated that Mattress Firm ...or at least this franchise.... would not have availability of that model for about six to eight months. At that point we cancelled our order with Mattress Firm. A simple cancellation turned into a 13 day wait for our credit card to be refunded. I called Mike and his answer" I will send another email to our accounting person". Several days went by with no refund so I called Mike again. He said he would send another email, but when I asked for either a phone number or the email address of this accountant, I was told the company policy was not to give that information out.when I asked if I thought it was fair to hold $3,000 of a person's funds up for an extended period of time, he said there's nothing he could do and if I looked at my receipt who would state that refunds may take several days. Ironically my credit card was charged instantaneously the day of the purchase, but refunds take 3 to 5 days. More regrettably ours was 13 days from start to finish to get our money back. My suggestion is to be very careful when you're shopping at the store. Recognize your not working with someone who works for Mattress Firm, the corporation. This is a franchise company. They apparently have their own business rules. If you do shop there,don't pay much attention to all the window signs has was told to us that many of the programs were outdated but because they are a franchise they rarely get the new posters. I rather lame comment my personal opinion and quite frankly it didn't really matter to us I just thought it was a strange comment coming from the salesperson. We had excellent luck at Rooms To Go comma their service was great and their delivery is perfect. We also have also used leap frog with similar success. My experience was pretty amazing. I have gone through a great deal and over serval states to find a truly great mattress and dealers who would live up to all the hype and promise most hand you when you walk in the door. (Used car dealer could take lessons from some of my previous mattress sales men, BUT, not here!!. These guys, and for the most part a salesmen named Michael went above and beyond the call. he not only explained the level of quality and how different manufactures make the mattress but also let me in on what models were going out and when new lines were coming in. At a certain point I purchased a Sterns and Foster extra firm , well it was the wrong mattress even for my much injured back, after only a few days I called Mike and told him I needed to exchange it but that I had to be gone for a few months because of an operation, well to make a long story shorter, Mike gave me my time away, exchanged the mattress with no hassle AT ALL even though I had gone beyond the average 100 day guarantee they give you. He worked with me and I finally have a Sterns and Foster that I can dream on !! Thanks Mike and Thanks Mattress Firm.
