Tried massager reclining bed base and it was life changing! Had to get both. Set up delivery and delivery was on time and set up the bed quickly. Seamless. Recently bought a Tempur-pedic mattress here at the store and I am so happy with the purchase. I can't say enough good things about this company. I have never been to this store but I was chosen in a giveaway to get a mattress, box spring, and 2 tempur- pedic pillows at NO COST from Mattress firm. They came to my house, let me pick the mattress I wanted and took away my old one for nothing. They took the time to explain each of 3 mattresses to me and made me try each one EVEN though they were making NO money off of me they STILL explained everything and made SURE I picked the mattress I wanted. They Literally saving me thousands of dollars. They were EXTREMELY nice not even flinching when I met them at my house late from work to meet them. They put on special covers on their feet to enter my house which made me laugh because my house is a mess. They asked for NOTHING in return. They didnt ask for a review, they didnt even ask for a photo for publicity. So just to be clear-- they handed over to me THOUSANDS worth of merchandise and asked for not ONE thing in return. I live in the area so I am going to leave the comment at this store because I dont think any other mattress company deserves your business over them. I went into this particular store...and bought a twin XL pillow top mattress and mechanical base ...where the head raises, in early September...I was told it was on back order..but I would have it in two weeks, so when it was close to the delivery date..I removed my matress and box spring..and slept on pillows on my floor, so in the beginning of Oct I called and they told me that orders had came in..but mine wasn't included and I had a choice to wait or to cancel my order because mine wasn't coming in until Oct 28th....it finally arrived and I was working when it was delivered, the men did there job, they put it together and they were tipped, and they took my old matress...the problem is that I didn't get the matress that I was supposed to get...and I called the store manager CHI..and instead of searching to see what I got he refused to help me and shifted my phone call to a salesman who knew nothing about my sale...I got the wrong matress and it's been 5 months of uncomfortable sleeping and nothing can be done...so I am done...I will never buy another item in this store, or company...because corporate after I explained myself to them told me their hands are tied...I suggest if you are looking to buy a matress go elsewhere...Raymore and Flanigan...or PC Richard because this company is crap...and hire uneducated and unprofessional help ...and are only out to screw you not help you...buyer beware!!! read more

My sales rep Phil was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to give him all 5 stars if my pick up experience was somewhat pleasant. I've purchased from Sleepy's before and I didn't remember having any complaints and my mattress has lasted a pretty long time. Their warranty is pretty impressive too that's why I decided to go back to purchase a second mattress. Phil was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I was pretty clear on what I wanted and Phil was able to give me his opinion and suggestions that were pretty valuable in my decision to purchase a mattress I would be happy with. He followed up like he said he would. My only complaint is the day I received the call to pick up my mattress I wasn't fully informed that I needed to bring someone with me. I had purchased a king size memory foam mattress that I was told it would be pretty compact. So when I received the call I arrived within an hour to pick it up. The sales person Jerry looked up my order and was surprised that I came alone to pick up a king mattress. He didn't seem like he wanted to help in any way. He said I needed to find two people to help me carry it to my car which was parked right in front. He said the mattress was well over a hundred pounds and he wasn't going to break his back bringing it to my car. I thought that statement alone was pretty rude. First of all they knew I was coming to pick it up. Second, they are a mattress company not a small goods company where people could carry their items out. I came back a few hours later with my father and brother in law. Jerry took us to the back where he literally tossed the box containing a queen size memory foam mattress on the side and then pulled out my king size memory foam mattress. Basically used one finger to hold up the box while my brother in law put the hand truck under the box to roll it out. MY FATHER DIDNT HAVE TO DO A THING. Then I look at the box and it read 35 kg (which equals 77.162 lbs) how is that "well over" 100 lbs??? I was so upset at his exaggeration and his unwilling attitude to help. I could've easily done this with a hand truck by myself if he hadn't said it was well over a hundred pounds. I called my sales person and he continued to apologies for his coworker. I didn't cancel my order because of Phil (my sales person). I wonder if Jerry's attitude was because I wasn't his customer and that he got nothing out of helping me. Update: received an actual call from Sleepy's customer care and I'm extremely surprised. My complaint was addressed and "Chanel" (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) the customer care rep explained why it was a liability to bring it to my car although alternative ways for helping me was available. I added a star to Sleepy's, the corporation, for the fact that they are serious about their customer satisfaction. They even showed concern how satisfied I was with my purchase. All this happened within 48 hours of my purchase. -A satisfied customer. read more

I went in looking for a pillow after going through 4 different ones in a couple of weeks. It sucked trying to get a pillow before coming here because I couldn't try them. Russ greeted me with a masked smile and made me feel very welcome. He let me lay on every single pillow with a protective layer and didn't make me feel like an indecisive nuisance. After narrowing down to my final two choices of pillows, I still couldn't decide so Russ let me lay on them and left me to peace and worked while I thought about it. A colleague recommended this Mattress Firm location and this is where we met Russ, who made this the most easiest, smoothest and painless process. Russ was so nice to the entire family, made us feel very relaxed. He listened to what we needed and was able to find the mattresses that were exactly what we needed, no pressure. Sleepy's is a tad shady. I was told by other mattress retailers that Sleepy's is a high pitch sales place that just tries to get their mattresses out the factory and into your bedroom... i believed it but had to check out Sleepy's given that they have such a wide selection of beds to choose from AND i figured there's no way i would let someone scam me into buying something no matter how good they were at "selling". I figured i'd go in, check out which bed was comfy and then try to buy it online or look for it cheaper elsewhere... little did i know... First of all, mattress companies are shady because they are for some reason, allowed to make the same exact mattress but name it something different just to prevent people from price matching. How is that legal?!?! Okay, i'm getting off topic. So i find a good bed at Sears and i tell the salesman at Sleepy's. He tells me he could match their price on the same exact bed but throw in "free" shipping, meaning he'll give me a $100 back in the form of a Visa gift card. I make sure to ask him if it's no "fluff", no joke kind of $100 visa gift card because i'm wary. Of course he says "yeah" you can spend it anywhere and they'll send it to me 2 weeks after i buy my mattress. And of course that "free" shipping is the kicker and so i buy the bed from Sleepy's as opposed to the other store. Two weeks later, i get this postcard in the mail from Sleepy's and it's this application for a gift card that can only be used at a few selected retailer AND in order to claim your gift card you HAVE to sign up to be on some mailing list for advertisers and they state on the postcard that they sell your information to companies AND have the right to release your information to other companies! i was pissed and thinking WTF! I could just see that guy thinking to himself "sucker" as i walked out of Sleepy's. I was so mad and wanted to return my mattress but alas i stumbled upon another lie told to me by the salesman. He said that i could return my mattress, no hassle, no fee in the first 3 weeks if i wasn't satisfied... nope. 10% restocking fee! So here I am writing this review hoping that other's don't fall for the high pressured sales pitch and scam tactics from Sleepy's. Tell him to give you $100 cash and maybe it'll be worth it. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I recently decided to purchase a new mattress and decided to go with my local Sleepy's, the supposed "mattress professionals". I went in for the same type of mattress I already had because of the comfort, but was talked out of it by the salesperson. In the showroom the mattress was very comfortable but once it was delivered, it was harder than a rock. I called the showroom to complain and the phone rang off the hook. I finally went back in and they told me in order to get the one I originally wanted I would have to pay a $250 fee, which I refused to pay. Long story short, I am stuck with a crappy mattress and a migraine from dealing with these people.
