I purchased/finanaced a mattress at this location for $3300 several months ago. The promotion they had running at the time was never proper explained to me as the customer at the time of purchase. When I called to inquire, I was given the runaround by their most obnoxious manager Michael. He was rude, belittling and offered 1 solution, return the mattress to the store. This company has zero customer service. Their staff is completely inept when it comes to explaining the financing process and they don't care. When I asked for the district manager, Gary, I was told I cannot have his direct number to discuss this matter. If you want to buy a mattress do NOT give this company your business. I walked into the store at the interstate mall at 17 and I spoke to a salesperson who was incredible. I am having trouble with the mattress I purchased and when I called on Saturday Damien answered and asked me to come in with pictures as to the problem. I did and he was at a different store so Beverly helped me. I had already returned one mattress and the policy is only one return. Well I was amazed at how they heard my concerns and she helped me pick a mattress that I think will be perfect. Beverly was patient with me and worked right along with me. They allowed me to return the one I am unhappy with with a service charge of course, but she could have given me a hard time. She and Damien worked together to make me a happy sleeper. Sleepy's Mattress is a scam system by design. It had been prosecuted by many states for consumer frauds. Every time they settled by paying fines. My experience with Sleepy's at Ramsey was horrible. First the sales person misled me to buy a mattress. I only found out I had to pay more after I swiped the credit card. I was too naive to think he just made a mistake: he must have done this to every customers, part of their scam system. Then they delivered a defect wrong model. The deliverymen said I should contact the store and left the mattress(I should not have accepted it). I called the store, but they asked me to contact warehouse. Warehouse asked me to contact delivery company.... After endless calls, they arranged a new delivery. But it was another defect wrong model!!! They tried to deliver several times when I was not at home. I thought it was simply poor management. But this was another part of the scam system. They used these unscheduled deliveries as evidence during dispute: we delivered the right product at right time, but the customer was not at home. I talked with many Sleepy's representatives, most of them are trained liars. For example, the salesman sold me the product never picked up my call again. The other salesman simply said the guy was not available and their policy did not allow other salesman to check my case. Again, it was by design to cheat customers and get away from it. I spent next half year disputing: credit card company and BBB. I won in both cases. The last call I received was from Tennessee. A "nice" Sleepy's guy asked me about the case and promised he would investigate. But they then sent the bill to collection agency!!! I did some research online, and found out tens of thousands customers have similar experience as me. I should have contacted the attorney general from the beginning. Never buy from Sleepy''s. It is a shame that such a scam system grows bigger and bigger, while other decent mattress sellers went out of business. read more

My daughter was in the process of moving to Hoboken and went to the Ramsey store to shop for a queen sized mattress & boxspring. She found one she liked in the store, and the salesman gave her a price for the set and also for delivery - $99.00 for delivery. She came home to think about it, and I wondered if she ordered it from the Hoboken store that the delivery fee would be less expensive. The Hoboken salesman told me that all deliveries are $99.00 regardless of the distance, but that they were currently having a promotion for free delivery for anything over $500.00. (Her set was $800.00). The Ramsey salesman NEVER told her that there was a promotion at that time for free delivery. He saw what he thought was a young 20-something that wouldn't know the difference, and dishonestly tried to rip her off. Do NOT buy from the Ramsey store. They will rip you off. read more

We decided to replace our old mattress to help our even older backs. First stop was the local Mattress Firm in Interstate Plaza. We were greeting by a nice, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable young man named Nick. He helped us find the perfect feel that not only felt the best but supported us the best, based on sleep habits and preferences. He fitted us for a pillow and even had us test drive the adjustable bases. After narrowing down my choices I had to do my "due diligence" and shop around... and let me tell you what a waste of time that was. I visited some of the major furniture stores, a few department stores and also an appliance/mattress store. And they didn't do half the job Nick did. After 2 weeks on my Beautyrest "Legendary" mattress with adjustable base and pillows, WE COULD'NT BE HAPPIER. We haven't slept this well in years, all thanks to Nick. read more
