Long story short, Candace at the Glenwood Ave Raleigh NC store assisted us. When we arrived, Candace was working with 2 other groups (she was the ONLY person working). She greeted us and helped us while assisting the other two groups seamlessly. Candace gave us pricing, recommendations, and bedding best practices that we hadn't even thought of. The Glenwood location is located next to Rooms 2 Go... To be blatantly honest with you all, I have a Room2Go line of credit... we only stopped by Mattress Firm to get advice on what to purchase. I was then going to take that info and purchase at Rooms 2 Go where I have an open line of credit. We left Candace after getting this valuable info and entered Rooms2Go! After being with the R2G team for about 30 minutes, my wife and I quickly came to the conclusion that we really wanted to purchase with Candace as she put pricing together that beat R2G, her service beat R2G, her knowledge was way far beyond R2G... so we quickly scooted back next door where Candace literally checked us out with what we needed in approx 15 minutes. She was AMAZING. Her customer service was beyond WORLD CLASS. Her knowledge of the Mattress Firm products and what they all do was next level. She spoke with confidence which put us at ease. She bought a $1600 Beauty Rest mattress, box spring, and frame. After less than one year, the mattress was sagging where she slept by an inch. The company rejected the claim as being normal wear and tear. She is 91 years old and weighs 105 lbs. She thought a $1600 mattress would hold its shape as long as she needed it. She was wrong.

Greg, the manager, is very knowledgeable and patient, and explained the features of the various models without pushing at all. He did suggest trying out a number of types just so I would become familiar with how they all felt. I appreciated that, and it ended up that the one model I figured would be best for me was actually the one I chose. I am also impressed by the warranty and continued support that comes with my purchase. Everything arrived when they said it would and the delivery team was friendly and got everything done quickly and efficiently. The mattress itself has made a big difference in my sleep quality. I would highly recommend OMF and the Glenwood Ave location.

We were all exiting covid and our stuff had been in storage. We had moved back to Raleigh from out of town only to hit Covid. So our stuff had been in storage for several years. We moved in right before the holidays. As part of that we had to also get the new house ready for holiday guests. Yes it was stressful. Even worse, we found that our hand made cherry bed had been partially destroyed by the previous movers. Lucky enough a friend of a friend could recommend an outstanding wood craftsman. He came quickly and repaired the frame. That left the next issue, the mattresses had not done well in storage and needed to be replaced. And I don't need to remind you how much businesses and all of use were struggling to get back in a rhythm. So with maybe a week or a week and a half to go, i went in search of a mattress. Turns out it was an unusual size. I can't recall now. Thats what happens when you wait to long. But for YEARS while we had been in Raleigh before we left town in 2012, Original Mattress Factory had been our place for mattresses. What we all liked among other things, is that they are made here, in the store. So I messaged the corporate portal. Again, remember how much businesses were struggling to get back on their feet then. Wish i could find the email. I got an IMMEDIATE response from some executive. CEO? Can't recall. Clearly there not staffed at HQ yet. he had understood my need and called the sales rep at this store who was ready to have me come in. it had been, like, minutes. RESPECT. i raced over there and the sales rep, wish i could remember his name, was Johnny on the spot. he showed me my choices, said my unusual size was not on the floor, but they made them there and would whip it out for me. They could deliver next week! I almost propsed marriage right there. And sure enough on the day, the two guys showed up very professionally. they delivered, they even moved the old mattresses for me downstairs. The next day my long awaited nephew showed up none the wiser. What a fabulous experience. Each year since we have had holiday guests in that bed. The whole experience was an outstanding value. My wife and I set up an appointment to purchase some beds for our residents, but walked out purchasing beds for our home and bed and breakfast, business. He gave us the pros and cons of the different products, and the price range and warranty options. So I ended up purchasing 17 beds for both personal and business use, from a well seasoned sells person, that believed in his products quality, warranty, and longevity, instead of a box store that sells everything. One word of caution when dealing with this business, it is essential to stay on top of communication while waiting for your order to arrive. It is their policy to deliver furniture without the cushions, if they have not arrived with the furniture frames. Just be aware that you may have furniture that you may not be able to enjoy without the cushions until they come in.

This store is a subsidary of Ashley furniture so you get the furniture without the commintment or customer service. First of all my husband and I went to the store to purchase furniture in March for our upcoiming move that would be happening in May of the same year. We were told in store when we made the purchase, which was financed by the way that everything was in place. We would however have to pay $140.00 dollars but that it could be paid all the way up to the day before delivery. We were told this by the manger and sales rep. Fast forward to weeks before the move I called in and paid the for the delivery and was told that I would hear from Maria on the day of dlivery. My husaband I took the day off to move things to the new location. Around miday I call Maria, who tells me that my order was not placed until to the 23rd of May and that they were looking in the warehouse to accomodate me because my order was not scheduled to be in to the 21st of May and it April 27th currently. i argued that this could not be possible as I made this order months in advance and was assured that there would be no delays. She told me she didn't know why this happened but that the order had jiust been placed. I recieved a part of my secctional that same day. Called back to the store to talk to manager who by the way is never available when you call. Only to be told by Miguel that no order is processed until all the moneys are paid, which is completely different from what I was told to my face at the store. Over several days and communciations with Maria I requested for the delivery to be refunded which she stated that she requested from the cooporate office. She then offered me a vacation package instead of the delivery fee. I acceped but we will reivist that in a minute. On or about May 15th I was contacted by text message from a delvery driver asking if I would be at thome to get furniture which no one called or alerted me that anything was coming that day. I got off work to get the furniture only for them to come with the wrong part of the sectional. The next I got a call from Maria not apologizing for the inconciences but telling me that I could possibly get the furntiure on Saturday if it came in. It didn't of coarse no call no show. Finally on May 20th we recieved the rest of the sectional still with no call ahead just a text message asking if we would be home to recieve it. The level of unprofessionalism displayed thru Ashley Furniture,/ Furniture World is unbeliveable, please save yourself the hassel but if you don't. Don't accept the vacation package it will cost you 300-400 and a fee to access it. SO either way this is a losing situation and they don't care about what you go through. Maria sounds fed up with the crap herself and is not professional or very appologetic. JUST SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you have to!!!! I will never buy from them or Ashley Furniture due to this situation and I think they ought to to be ashamed putting people through this kind of situation in this economy.

The store is small, and full from floor to ceiling of furniture, tables, beds, light fixture, everything for your home! The store appears small but is packed from floor to ceiling with couches, beds, home furnishings, etc. Very well done and gave me new ideas for both interior and exterior living.
