Wonderful experience....knowledgeable owner, terrific prices...ordered last evening and was delivered this evening!!

After 18 months of talking about buying a new mattress and not actually doing it because we weren't sure where to go or what to buy, we decided to come here on the recommendation of two separate friends. It was an excellent shopping experience. We were done in about 20 minutes. The owner, Glenn, knows EVERYTHING about mattresses. We walked into the warehouse and he asked if we wanted to look around on our own or wanted some suggestions. We asked for suggestions. He zeroed us in on three models, had very detailed info on each. (His website also has a lot of great info.) Great prices. Next-day delivery plus removal of the old mattress. Also sells sheets, pillows, metal bed frames, and mattress covers. Since we were moving from a queen to a king, that was all really handy. Also, he works with manufacturers to get flippable mattresses, which are hard to find now. He said that one-sided mattresses are basically like buying half a mattress. People will go to him specifically for 2-siders. He says he doesn't advertise because he gets so many referrals. We were so impressed with him, we actually called the next day before the delivery and asked him to throw in a second mattress to replace one from another bedroom. I felt fine just buying it over the phone because he's that knowledgeable. He also gave us a bit of a discount for buying two. "I'm a long-term operation," he said several times. He wants customers for life. Mattress is good so far. A little firm but it takes a while to break them in. Also, as Glenn pointed out, a mattress can always be made softer with mattress toppers but it cannot be made firmer. Highly recommend! read more

He will show you and let you try out every mattress and how comfortable each one is before you buy it. I bought one and had it delivered to my apartment. It was delivered by two very nice gentleman who lifted and installed it no problem. I also bought the bamboo sheets and pillows and they are very good quality. Mattress Market is great! This is were you come to not deal w pushy or annoying sales people. The owner and one other guy run this shop and it's awesome. Super friendly and great beds at even better prices. They have other items too but I just went in to purchase a mattress. I purchased a pillow top mattress from them in late 2015 for my daughter. Today the mattress is still I perfect condition and in fact it's being passed down to my youngest daughter. Today 9.7.2017 I am going back to purchase a box spring, bed frame and a few other items. These guys have a customer for life. Update: Just finished buying a new mattress set for my wife and I and a few other items. Great quality and super amazing price!!! So me and my wife have beeen searching for a bed for my 3 yr old daughter and came across Mattress Market. It seems this area has been mostly taken over by Sleepy's and personally I can go without the pushy, 80's style used car salesman approach. We walked in Mattress markett wich is more like a warehouse but the gentlemen running the place kindly ssaid "If I can answer any questions let me know" and let us go about our business. They have a great stock of mattresses in every price range. Which is better than the 1 or 2 options offered by sleepy's. I haven't made a purchase yet but I will definately be back with myy pick up. read more

OUTSTANDING service and value! The salesman and owner Glenn was extremely helpful with no pressure. He carries all the major mfg. low end to top of the line in this warehouse setting that has the BEST prices we found. They also have great mattress covers with the latest material that allow the mattress to be water proofed while allowing the mattress to vent. We discovered Mattress Market in 2005, when it seemed our entire family needed updated beds. So budget friendly options were important. At the time we purchased 2 full (1 pillow top) and 1 king beds. I believe two are private label, and one is a Serta. It is now 11-1/2 years later. And all of the bedding is still in use. Our youngest son took his full-size bed to college. So, we were short one bed at home for when he is home. We decided to move our king to his room, and get ourselves a new one. I had been doing my research, and knew what we would be paying elsewhere. With this knowledge in mind and without hesitation, we went back to Mattress Market. Glenn is a knowledgeable, no pressure salesman (as he was the first time). We purchased a private label double pillow top (so we can flip the mattress) king set and frame for less than 1/2 of what I would have spent elsewhere. We asked for delivery the next day and got it. Delivery staff was helpful, courteous, and professional in setting up the new bed. An important point, is that the king set we moved to our son's room still looks almost new - after 11+ years of two non-skinny people sleeping on it almost every night. When we told friends, they said they wished they would have listened to us in 2005. Afraid of the private label name, they went to a local furniture store that has mattress professionals...and their bed, at 7 years, is very uncomfortable. When you look at it, you can actually see the dips in the mattress from where they sleep. The store as everyone else states, is no frills, almost warehouse-like. But we don't want to pay for a pretty showroom-it has no impact on the quality of our sleep. But with the amount we saved, we were able to buy a new surround sound, and keep some money in the bank. read more

Sent my 20 year old son to Mattress Market so he could pick out a queen size bed for himself. All went well at first he was working with Glenn. He and Glenn picked out the perfect mattress and low profile box spring. This store came highly recommended to him from a co-worker. He came home to get me for payment went back to store to pick up mattress and box spring but Glenn was to busy to help him so Zack took care of him. All went well except Zack gave him a regular box spring instead of low profile discussed with Glenn. Once home it was discovered the bed was way to high and now he is stuck with it. I called right away but Glenn said because it was taken out of the store it was not returnable. So this is a warning to all know what you have because you will not be able to return it. I bought my bed at Mealeys the same thing happened but they were more then willing to make the switch in box springs right away with no hassle. read more

Where to begin, there are countless mattress stores in the area. I started going here about five years ago. I will never go any where else. Glenn knows everything compared to the normal retail establishment. He truly knows every part of every mattress he sells. Glenn will be very detailed explaining each individual piece he has and give you the best opinion. He is a man that knows his product and what his clients are looking for. Picked up a mattress tonight and like usual very satisfied. They strapped the box spring and mattress on the car.(Very tall guy did it) sorry I don't remember his name but the fact he picked the mattress up with one hand like it was a Damn tissue. I was more amazed then anything. Glenn swore to me since the xm radio attena on the back if the mattress hung over he would not let me drive away, like a friend would tell you. I purchased a mattress here back in September of 2012, and it was a great experience. Note that this store is your bare-bones store...no fancy displays or "body mapping" computer systems. There are a large selection of mattress laid out in aisles for you to try out. Some things to note are that the majority of the mattresses are "private label" (no-name brand), but don't let that be a concern to you. Everything is new, and is made by a legitimate company in the U.S. (They do have a small selection of Serta mattresses as well) The environment is very no-pressure, and was left alone to try out what I wanted. The salesman, an older gentleman, did provide some great tips and advice, but again, no pressure as to one mattress or another. (I found that the "cheaper" mattress felt better to me). I would recommend avoiding any mattress with a "pillow top" or something similar, as they tend to break down faster from what I heard. Best of all, I did not have to wait (or pay) for delivery. They put the mattress on the roof of my car with heavy duty zip ties, and off I went! Definitely check it out before you go to Sleepy's or a furniture store. Now, will this mattress hold up for 17+ years like my last one? Maybe, maybe not...but everything is made cheaper today. My model does have a warranty, but that was a moot point, as it's usually difficult to get any mattress company to stand behind it. However, the prices are so low, if I am able to get 5-7 years out of it, it will be money well spent. read more

I have never in my life dealt with a business like this. I am not one to complain at all but I'm extremely upset. I went to purchase a full mattress last night for my 10 year old daughters new bed and I brought it home and put it to the side as her new bed wasn't being delivered till today. I get the bed frame and put the mattress on and it is way to small compared to the platform bed. I measured the Mattress and it's 51" 3/4 wide. The frame of the bed is 55" which is standard size for a frame. A full mattress is supposed to be standard at 54". I called the salesman "Glen" and he told me that it is the way it's made and that it's handmade so it varies but to come in and measure the other full mattresses they have and they are all the same size. I called the manufacturer directly and they said that it's obviously defective because their mattress are a minimum of 53" and they put me in touch with corporate headquarters. Glenn would do nothing for us and now the wood is so exposed on my daughters bed and I'm scared she's going to hurt herself. I would definitely stear clear of this business. It's better to pay a little more and be satisfied with your purchase. I have never in my life dealt with a business that does not care about customer satisfaction. He claims to care but does not follow through with actions. I wasn't even asking for my money back just a mattress that fits right. I've contacted a lawyer because they are fraudulently selling mattresses that are not the right size and will not rectify this issue. Like I said I usually keep to myself about this stuff but I'm worried others will buy from here and lose their hard earned money too. Do yourself a favor a go to a REAL mattress place and spend a little extra. Crooks. read more
