I went to Mattress Overstock this last weekend and ordered a new box spring for one bed and a mattress for another. This is the third time in five years which I've gone here for mattresses for different bedrooms. Each time I've dealt with Jim. He has been extremely friendly and welcoming. He explained each mattress' benefits. He did not try to upsell to more expensive mattresses. He even suggested a lower priced mattress which he said had the same functionality as the one I was looking at. I was suffering from some back and sciatic pain and realized that my current mattress was getting a bit saggy. The sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There's a variety of mattresses and price points to fit every budget. Information needed to make a choice is given, the composition of each mattress is explained. Different manufacturers brands have different feels as one lies down to "test" the hardness or softness of your choice. My choice a queen mattress, the box spring could not be maneuvered to the second level of my home, no problem, it was exchanged for a split queen box spring was delivered at no extra charge. I had a great experience buying a memory foam mattress from this story. The salesman was helpful and all the staff was nice and cordial. They took the time with me even though I was indecisive and changed my mind a lot. They didn't even hurry me when I was laying on the floor display models for a long time. They do have same day delivery for an extra $20 fee, but if you don't need the mattress so bad, they offer free delivery the next day (if you are buying a set). They honored the 10% Yelp discount with any problems. I liked that. I would definitely recommend this store. read more

The folks at Mattress Overstock really helped us finalize our decision to purchase a latex spring free Sealy Cloverleaf mattress. Jim, the owner of Mattress Overstock was very well informed and intuitive of what our needs were walking in the door.
