The original purchase was good. We were able to lay on the mattresses and get the idea of which one we thought was best. The one warning I would give is their return policy on mattress covers. Our mattress cover had a rip in it like a razor knife cut. The package looked like it wasn't opened so it must have been from the manufacturer. Once looking at it we saw that it was very flimsy (for $89). My wife decided to get one from Amazon for 1/2 the price. When we tried to get a refund for the cover we could only get a replacement. Was expecting the exchange on my mattress warranty today, and everything up until now had been a really smooth and easy experience. When I received the call for delivery time I noticed only one product was on the delivery, I called the store and they admitted their error. Told me to refuse delivery and my salesperson would call me today to fix the issue. I've received no follow up from the store today as promised. It's one thing for a mistake to happen. It's an entirely other thing to continue to handle it so poorly. read more

While I didn't find what I needed, the customer service was top notch. The new owner was incredibly helpful. When she didn't have what I needed, she didn't try to sell me something else, she referred me to a different store where I could find exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the location is a bit of a setback. While the front of the store is perfectly visible from Rt. 70, it's a bit of a maze to actually find the entrance, which is from the back side of the store only. Went in about 2 weeks ago by myself to check out new mattresses. I was expecting a "typical" mattress store that was pushy. Uldis was extremely helpful and not pushy at all! He was everything you want in a salesperson... courtesy, cares about your needs, and stays respectful of your budget. I put down a deposit and said I would be back with my husband to decide on a mattress. Today we went in and Uldis again have us great customer service and guidance while selecting the mattress of our choice. We bought a queen and already gave a deposit for our next mattress. Bought a memory foam mattress and it was supposed to be delivered to store. For whatever reason, the mattress did not arrive on the truck. Instead of inconveniencing us and making us wait, they gave us a higher end mattress in its place at no extra cost and also gave a mattress protector for no cost. They went above and beyond for us. The man who worked here told my husband and me not to get a soft mattress because of "our size." I am not sure what he meant, but I can only assume he was calling us fat, and we are thinner than most people!! So offensive! Also, he told us most of the mattresses within our price range couldn't be delivered, so we would have to take it home ourselves. Absolutely terrible experience. We ordered a new mattress and was told it would be there in a few days. And few days later they delivered the wrong mattress, (a rock solid firm mattress) and was told the one we had ordered was out of stock until the following week. So for a week my wife and I had to sleep on our sofas. Don't bother trying to contact customer service. They will tell you their area supervisor will contact you but it takes over a week for him to do do. Buy that time he states, oh well it has been resolved. read more

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a mattress from The Mattress Warehouse. Over all it was a good experience. It didn't take more thank an hour to pick one out and set up the financing. (0% apr for 36 months!) They have a mattress they ask you to lie on that has sensors and is supposed to suggest the best bed for your individual needs. This was something new and cool! The short video you watched while waiting for the results was a little brainwashy-It basically said You know nothing about mattresses so forget everything you think you know about what you think you need.. and we will tell you what you really need. But I would have to say it did a good job because we ended up buying the first mattress that it suggested within our price range. the sales rep was not pushy at all and we really appreciated that. They have a huge selection and I would recommend this business as a place to get your next mattress! read more

The last time I went to buy a mattress it was at Sleepys and it was tge WORST experience of my life. It was worse than being held hostage by an over aggressive car salesman. So of course I walked in the Mattress Warehouse with my gaurd up and ready for battle. I was kindly greeted by Mr. B. He asked me what I was looking for. I hesitantly told him and was waiting for the dreaded price game to start. He showed us a few beds and to my surprise wasn't trying to push the 2,000.00 beds on us. He asked my price range and not only stayed with in it, but found us a great bed lower than my budget! Needless to say I highly recommend this store if you are shopping for a mattress.
