I got a good deal on my new mattress here. The sales tactics were a little annoying, but if you can get past the used car salesman feel, and look to the actual price savings they're giving you, then you're golden. In the grand scheme of the purchase, I wasn't rushed at all. I was able to Google the mattress to ensure that I was actually getting a good price and not getting fooled. I nap-tested a few of them before deciding. In the end, I also purchased a memory foam side-sleeper pillow and a waterproof mattress cover, the latter of which the salespeople recommend purchasing for the warranty's sake. As for delivery, mine was a breeze. They were understanding of my schedule and brought it in on a Friday night after I got home from work. I made sure to check the tags to confirm that I had the right items. They also disposed of the old mattress and box spring, so that was nice. I'm not from this area. I happen to be here and as I'm in need of a mattress and usually it gets delivered, I walked into this store with virtually prepared to come back without a purchase, if it doesn't meet my budget. To my surprise, this person from the store, Joe AR, came and started talking about the mattresses and the pros and cons in a very brief and concise way that we were floored! Such wealth of knowledge and so sweet of him to explain in such an enthusiastic way that we can clearly see he loves the job!!! He gave the perfect mattress that very much fits the budget and all the required tips of the do's and the don'ts. As everyone knows, mattresses can become crazy expensive. If you need a mattress anywhere near the Cherry Hill area make sure you go not only to Sleepy's but go to this store across from the mall on Haddonfield rd. My husband and I took about an entire month to select a mattress. I have some serious back issues and my husband is not too much better than me. This made it a real important and life changing decision for us. We compared everywhere from JC Penny's, Boscov's, Mattress Factory, Mattress Giant and even other Sleepy stores. Sleepy's had by far the best selection and best prices of anyone in the area. They even have a computer system that assists you in choosing the right mattress. But what set this particular Sleepy's apart was the salesman there. Of the dozen or so sales people that helped us out none was as polite, courteous, or knowledgeable as Dave Zimmerman who I believe runs and operates this particular store. Dave truly offered a pressure free shopping experience. He seemed to truly care about helping me find the right mattress to alleviate my pains and get a better night's sleep. We even ended up paying a bit more than we were planning and we don't regret it in the slightest. We are sleeping better than we have in our entire lives and now truly see the importance of investing in a quality sleep set. This is all thanks to Sleepy's and especially the wonderful salesman we had. Hopefully our month long search can save you some time, effort, and money. This store is the only place you need to visit. Had a great experience shopping at Mattress Firm. Our sales associate, Paul Maguire, was very attentive and asked the right questions to help us find what we needed without being pushy. He helped us find a great bed within our price range. Additionally, our condo has very strict rules regarding deliveries, and Mattress Firm worked closely with us and the delivery company to ensure the delivery arrived during the narrow window available. My husband and I are happy with our mattress and got a good deal, but it wasn't a real pleasant experience at all. Hubby and I specifically inquired about a queen size mattress... mattresses only. We discussed prices of mattresses, but not box springs ...topic never came up. We were charged for a box spring that we didn't ask for or need and I caught that mistake bc I realized the final price was too high.... just didn't add up. Anyway, he corrected the mistake, but we couldn't get a refund right away. He said it has to go to corporate and that pissed me off bc I've been out of work since the pandemic hit and I need my money. I didn't expect to get an extra $160 taken from me. Why should I have to wait when it wasn't my mistake? That process could take forever. I asked for corporate's number, but he talked his way out of not giving it to me, telling me to just call the store. Well, as soon as I got home, I Googled and got all the info I need. I was at Sleepy's today 5/22/14 and purchased a mattress because of the sales person named Dough. Let me tell you, he is AWESOME! I went to another Sleepy's store and seen a mattress that I liked and was not satisfied with the price I was given. I looked around and my mind was still set on that one mattress. So I stopped in the Cherry Hill Sleepy's. Dough found the mattress I wanted and would not let me leave the store until I was happy. He went well above and beyond for me too. He called the general manager and told them my situation and got me the mattress, pillow, and mattress cover of my choice with no hesitation at all. He is a top of the line customer service representative and the company should hire more people like him. It is so hard to find good customer service now a days so I really appreciated him. I would without a doubt be shopping at this Sleepy's again and only ask for Dough. I would highly recommend going to see Dough if you need a mattress. Thanks Dough!!!!! read more

I am disappointed in my experience with Sleepy's and will likely not return to another Sleepy's store due to their lack of a return policy. I came to buy a mattress topper but they did not have any in the store to sample. Cheyenne (sp?) the salesperson ordered one online for me and was a little dismissive when I asked about the return policy in case I did not like the product I was buying. I understand that I am somewhat to blame for buying something I could not test out first but I still believe it is a bad business practice to refuse your customers the ability to return products they do not like (for the record, the product was opened but was not slept on). Now I am stuck with an uncomfortable mattress topper I cannot use and $150 poorer. Might as well go to Bed Bath and Beyond or Ikea or some other place that accepts returns. It shouldn't be hard to find somewhere else. After all, it seems like everybody is selling mattresses these days. read more
