I have been to the store and they sold me a $400 "topper." In trying to save some money , before we actually ordered that special bed that is good for people with chronic pains allegedly, we spent way too much money on trying to cheap out, and find solutions to our old bed which was not a Tempur-pedic. We feel pretty much taken advantage of. When I called to order the bed, they had to do a security check on me like they do with the terrorists. The woman taking the order didn't like my joke. We told them we know where the real terrorist is you can look on Wall Street. She didn't think that was very funny but they did a background check to see if we were some kind of weird Criminal, or in some criminal organization! Really? This is what one has to go through in buying a bed. I have never in my life nor has my husband ever in his life been asked to supply his Social Security number so they could check to see if we were on some kind of list. All around bad experience, and of course the bed was nothing like as advertised. We should've known better because Tempur-pedic themselves on their own website delete all negative reviews. We were so overwhelmed with the searching- in the end, this company made the cut. Reviews are correct and Mattress Firm's return policy threw me off as they do not offer a refund- just exchanges. Because of that, hubby and I spent a great deal of time doing our homework prior to purchasing and make sure everything measured up. Thankfully, our BoConcept frame still remains in mint condition- so all we did was analyze every square inch to first replace the 4" 'box spring' (or rather- foundation) that'll fit snuggly in our frame then find the best mattress possible to go with it. Floor person (forgot your name) was helpful. We already knew we wanted a medium-to-firm adjustable mattress and did the 'lay-down-test' on at least 3. My husband had lots of questions but my major concern was the hygiene aspect and wanted to know: (1) are Returned mattresses resold on the spot? (2) What kind of hygiene practices does Firm follow in accordance to NY state standards? Plus so-o-o many others. Our sales person answered all our questions- specially sanitization practices- where they have to go through an inspection process and be 'certified' sanitary with new Law Tags attached. And without those State tags, mattresses aren't deemed resellable. So two things might happen when you shop- (1) Returned mattresses are plastic-wrapped with either large red or black letterings that'll let floor people know those have been returned (within a specific time frame) and sanitized thoroughly- and will be offered at a discount. Luckily for us, ours didn't fall in either category and was completely new and not pre-owned. Then again though, who'd buy a used mattress? That's gross! Our Beautyrest came at under $2500 on the spot and that's because hubby haggled with our guy. Again, I made sure all of our questions were answered before hubby signed on the dotted line. Delivery window was as promised between 9:45-11:45 on a Sunday morning. The guys were pleasant and helped adjust the height on our new foundation, then hauled our old mattress and foundation- and out they went. So far- so good and thank Heavens- our mattress is super comfortable with a nice balance of 'coils' and 'sturdy foam'. I totally get the negative reviews here and know why it's a turn off. Do your homework and you'll be set.

We put it in out part-time Condo and noticed it slept very hot. We did some investigating, and this model is foam. We are in the Hot, humid south and wished that their website, anywhere, or anyone at Casper, steered us to the appropriate Casper for us, but no one ever did. No worries, right? Casper has this fantastic warranty. This is not the case. A more expensive mattress doesn't get you Customer Service, so beware. We have a lightly used mattress that is mostly useless, unless we use it only in Winter. A bed in a box was a much better choice based on how little they cared. We could never recommend false promises on a warranty. Save a few bucks and get more help. This is our experience.

She went to the back to bring out 1st piece, I carried it to the car as she returned for the 2nd one that my husband carried out. Would it have killed her to let us pick up our 1800 order 5 minutes early?
