Excellent service! My mom was looking for a new mattress. From the moment we walked in our experience with Ron was excellent. What differentiates Mattress Warehouse from the mattress stores is their computer matching program. Mom loved that she didn't have to lay on every mattress to find the right one. The computer program did it for her. She tried several and fell in love with one. Being on a budget I wasn't crazy about the price so we decided to go to Mattress Firm in Millsboro. After walking in and speaking with the salesman at Mattress Firm we knew that we needed to go back to Ron. The next day we went in again and found the right mattress for her at the right negotiated price. This was on a Saturday and the mattress was delivered Tuesday. I have been to several Mattress Warehouse stores in Delaware and the Wash. D.C. area (home of the World Series Champs!) and mostly satisfied but Ron in Millville (Bethany Beach) was the most helpful. He helped us with a warrantee claim and was very honest about pointing us to the right mattress for our needs. Choosing the correct mattress is never easy and you can never feel that you have the least expensive price. You can get over paying more than you should have but getting a good night sleep for the next 10-15 years is the most important part of the sale! Be sure to ask for Ron Cubbage. Last year we purchased a $2500 mattress. In less than 5 months both sides began to seriously sag. We contacted Mattress Warehouse and they sent out a quality control person who measured the sag against their standard warranty. Turns out the warranty against defects that we were assured was airtight was anything but. The warranty is not with Mattress Warehouse but with the manufacturer. The quality control person is paid by either Mattress Warehouse or the manufacturer which puts in question their partiality. We were told nothing could be done and we would have to accept the sag as normal. It is not. We were also told if we wanted to have the mattress reexamined it would cost another $75. My caution to all customers is to question the salesperson extensively concerning the warranty and ask to see anything that you are told in writing. UPDATE: after a letter to the owner, we received an appropriate offer for a replacement mattress of our choice. Anthony at the store was very helpful and took care of us with much patience and no attitude! We are awaiting arrangements for delivery. The owner stepped up and did the right thing by us and we are grateful to a merchant who was responsive. read more

Misleading information on their "comfort exchange". Sales representative, Dave, strongly recommended a mattress of medium firmness. Said he has been in the business for years and if I wasn't happy and wanted the firm mattress it was easy to exchange. The paperwork I have explained the exchange and I would pay the delivery fee and removal of present mattress which is what I expected to pay. I was told that the comfort exchange would cost $900 plus the fees in the contract. We purchased four mattresses so they got our business. Very disappointed. read more

We've bought many mattresses from the Rehoboth store over the last 3 years for our rentals and the service there has always been pretty good, but today we accidentally called Millville/Bethany and got Ron - now, he was amazing! We told him what we wanted (3 high end mattresses), when we wanted them, 2 to one address right away, and the third for later in the summer delivery to a different location. He jumped on it, nailed the pricing I had in the back of my mind, and did the orders quickly, with good humor, great customer service orientation, all with recognition of our prior patronage of the Rehoboth business and appreciation for the opportunity to work with us on this new order. Service and customer appreciation are often sorely lacking in the Beaches, but Ron knocked it out of the park today and for that he earned a repeat customer for all our future needs. Rating -0 ordered a king mattress the saleperson suggested to buy a mattress protector. I bought two so I could wash one and always have spare. Took the pads with me from store. When delivery was made personnel would not take old queen bed apart. I was told that they would do this when I made purchase. Delivery people called their boss and he told me they did not take apart old bed, with that I told delivery people to not unloadmattress and I cancelled order. I was then told that they would not take 500$ over priced mattress pads back because the PADS had left store. The pads were never opened and the were apart of the "package deal". So now I'm stuck with pads no king bed. Poor poor poor customers servce. Hopefully no one else gets ripped off and the are just another terrible company that goes out of business.
