I simply needed four boxsprings to lower two beds. I decided to contact this local store since they were near by. I realize that many stores are short staffed and might be working with customers. I did speak with a salesperson, placed an order, but then she had to make phone calls about delivery. We discussed two dates, and I remember wanting to coordinate our travels to our condo. I admit I wrote down the wrong date, but at 80 I am allowed to do it. Immediately when it was discovered it was not just a simple redelivery, but then there was another $150 for redelivery, and another $75 for rescheduling. I was then told to call the store to see if the salesperson could help get these fees waived. I spoke to her and she said she would do what she could do. Of course, she could not simply make a call, but this had to be handled by an email to the owner and the delivery manager. The more I thought about it, I realized that this store was all about the money and not service. After running a successful business for 40 years, I knew this was not the way to deal with customers. I called back and was told she did not have a response to her initial email. I explained that I just wanted to cancel the order. I then was cautioned that if I did that, they would still charge me the initial fees for the failed delivery and a 25% restocking fee. Mind you when I first spoke to them these items were in such demand I was told they might night be available. You decide if this is the kind of business you want to deal with. While…read morefurniture and More's delivery people are authorized to use the stairs it will be a cold day in hell when they do. I bought a couch that was 2 inches too big for our buildings elevator. We asked the sales people if the couch could be carried up the stairs to our unit on the third floor. The sales person said yes but the delivery people swore up and down that the couch would not fit in the stairs. So the couch went back to the warehouse. I went and measured the stairs and the delivery people were full of it. Called Furniture and more told them the couch would fit and rescheduled delivery. The day before delivery I get a call from the store manger telling me they won't deliver the couch and they refunded me they delivery fee. I then hired movers ($600.00) who went and picked up the couch and once arriving at my condo carried my too big for the stairs couch up the stairs and into my unit in 13 minutes. Furniture and More's delivery people are a joke and condo owners you have been warned.

The owner is very unreliable, we tried to call him for a week straight to get him to come pick up our furniture. When we did finally get ahold of him he said he would come over to pick up our furniture that day, but never showed up. This happened for about a week straight of us calling him and him saying he would come by to pick up the furniture and he was just a no show. We finally had him stop by our house to pick the furniture up and we had to take physically move the furniture into his truck with little to no help from him. Never again will I ever use him or refer him to anyone. Worst experience I've had trying sell or buy furniture.
