Alex came with a truck and packed/secured everything very carefully and had a very pleasant and informative attitude. My furniture was taken to the business and I received a list of the items to review the next morning. They even took an item I didn't have on my original list - a grandfather clock. They followed up with me the next day and also sent an email link for me to set up a personal account so I can follow the sales activity and also receive direct deposit to my bank account when items sell. The process couldn't have been easier. Some of the antique stores in Albany never even called me back and the owner of one store set up an appointment but never showed up. While we loved the hand crafted Amish stuff, and could easily abide a room full of offerings from The Real Mother Goose, we couldn't afford it. The truly hideous, outsourced, stapled particle board junk that we found in the big box furniture stores was not going to open our wallets at any price. What to do? We both are conscious of sustainability and the life cycle of the manufactured items we buy. We wanted good quality furniture that could be handed down to the next generation. We wanted solid wood furniture, made from sustainably harvested woods. We wanted furniture that employed local materials and labor and employed the same manufacturing techniques used to make handcrafted furniture. Forget about it - Right? Well we were about to give up when we dropped into the Dania store in the Hollywood district. They carry Wood Castle Furniture, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Wood Castle makes truly beautiful solid wood furniture, from sustainably harvested hardwood right here in Oregon. We bought a queen size spindle bed, a tall five-drawer chest, a wide six-drawer chest, a wall hung mirror, and two one-drawer night stands; all for five thousand dollars. This might seem high, but it's less than some of the rocking chairs at the Real Mother Goose, and it all came with a lifetime warranty that I doubt we will ever use. Thank you Wood Castle!

I saw on Marketplace that they had a fan that my youngest daughter had that my oldest daughter…read morewanted. They were $50 at Costco and they had them for $27. I headed over there and found some hand warmers for $1 and a pop it for $3. When I asked the gentleman to get me one of the fans that were high up. We went through 3-4 of them trying to find one that had instructions and looked brand new. I appreciated him going through them with me trying to find the "best" one. When I got it home and plugged it in. The buttons on the fan don't work. The only thing it does is goes up and down and not side to side like my daughter wanted. My youngest daughter didn't mind it doing that, so they switched them out. I got a receipt sent to me via text. So I have no clue if they take items back. So I wouldn't recommend buying electronics here. But other things, yes. I did look up other items that they are selling on Costco app and they were the same price or a few dollars off.
