So, five days ago we went into Ashley to purchase a pillow. We were told it would be delivered on Tuesday July 2. Tuesday came and went - no delivery. We called Ashley this morning and were told that there was no explanation for the non-delivery, but that the order had been handed off to FedEx, who would ship the order on Saturday July 6 and that it would take 10-14 days for FedEx to deliver it! So the salesman stated delivery was to be July 2nd when in fact it's going to be closer to July 22nd!! Unacceptable. Terrible service, terrible customer support, never ever buying anything from this store again. AVOID!!! read more

Been looking for a sectional online for a while. They were too expensive and too big or too small. I walked into Ashley and found it right away for an amazing price. I bought the floor model so took it right away. The store has literally everything you need for a home even linens. I was very impressed. If I could have given a one rating I would have. My wife and I bought a dining room table and chairs. We were forced to have it delivered and when it was not only was the damaged with a stain spot and knot holes in the finish (that weren't on the one in the show room) but the chairs were backorder! The salesman never bothered to look up the inventory when he cut that fat hog of a sale. Now I'm sitting here with a damaged table and no chairs with no delivery date in sight. Tomorrow we are going to give the order to terminate the sale unless they can fulfill our order by Friday and exchange the damaged table. Don't business with these idiots. read more

We never had a problem with the store in Salem but WE WILL NOT GO BACK TO CORVALLIS. My wife and I had ordered a mattress in July. We have an Ashley Credit Card. Mattress was delayed, then never showed up, people at the store didn't know what was going on until finally it showed up...only to find out that they gave us a mattress OFF THE SHOW FLOOR and this was right in beginning of September. Who knows how many people have laid on that thing. This was after offers of discount for our troubles. We sent it back, was willing to wait for another one but with a discount...they asked what we thought was reasonable, I said 30% after having to wait 2 months and then get a show floor model...they rejected that. I said fine, cancel it. All the while, there's a pending charge on our card for the mattress that never got cancelled. I called 5 times from September to now about it, got promises to fix it and call me back. Nothing happened. Just called headquarters, got the same empty apologies and telling us to wait even longer. This is ridiculous. All we wanted was a damn mattress. read more

The staff is friendly however after shopping the entire store and picking out all our furniture the shipment took way too long...4 months so we had to buy somewhere else. Lots to look at unfortunately they can't get the shipments in . Not there fault I'm sure. If your not in a rush they may have what you need. It took weeks for me to gather the courage to write this. I decided one day that my wife and I should get a new bed and bed frame. Who would have thought that that would have been the biggest D*MN mistake of my life! We came in and looked at EVERY option and decided on the Neilsville Queen Panel Platform Bed as it looked very suitable and nice. Unfortunately for us it was not!!! The Mrs and I decided to as you say break in the new setup(S*x) and oh boy it went south fast. As she was laying there ready I Leapt onto the bed and that's when BAMMMMMM!!!! DOWN GOES THE BED!! I was in shock and my wife was unresponsive as a 230 pound man just power-bombed her into the ground. It looked like a scene from the newest WWE match complete disaster! Unfortunately that was the least of our worries as our family dog "Champ"(named after Lebron James) was under the bed sleeping. And to save you from all the details this has not only cost us 249.98 for the platform but has driven me into deep financial difficulties because of my wife's and dogs medical bills. You could say that I am disappointed in the durability of the platform but I am especially embarrassed at thought of telling family and friends how my dog and wife got severely injured. On the bright side I am a newly single man and I am again on the hunt for a new bed platform and bed! read more

Had to call several times to get this chair delivered. I ordered it online and then before I was able to purchase it a guy named Crew from Ashley in Corvallis called and told me he could give me the same price and ask if I would use him. I said okay if he was sure they could deliver it the same day as online. The chair was supposed to be delivered the next week. That didn't happen. After several chats online and calls to Crew the Salesperson, they finally set up the delivery. I had found out that this chair was in stock online and didn't understand why they could not get it shipped to me. That is the only reason I got it delivered when I did. Delivery guys had to call to get to my home. Asked them to google it and put it on their phone. Instead of putting my chair on a set of trucks to get it up my driveway one of the delivery men carried the bulk of the chair on his back and the other delivery man carried the arms and top. When they got it in the door, they wanted me to move my furniture over more to get chair where I wanted it. I had already done that and there was more than enough room. Why would they expect me to move it? Left plastic tie under my chair. Already picked up one on the floor that was right in front of them. Looking at chair from the front, delivery man that carried the bulk of the chair up my driveway took three tries for the right arm and six tries for the left arm to get it in correctly. He was extremely rough doing this. Just kept jamming it to try to make it fit. After all of that, (Looking at front of chair) right arm was not put in properly. They don't check anything when they get done. I had to call them back to fix it. The delivery man that came back didn't understand how to fix the problem. Physically showed him and then he got it. The lower back panel is extremely wrinkled. The chair is lower on one side than the other looking at the front top. (Have pictures of all of this). Now I wonder if my chair back is in correctly. After the amount I had to pay to have the chair setup in my home, they don't use a setup person. They are the delivery person. read more

I'm not sure how this place has made so many great reviews over the last month. Ashley furniture is GARBAGE!!! Let me tell you a REAL experience; two months ago we bought a couch and were told it'd be delivered in two weeks. Three weeks later they called us and said there was a problem with the paperwork (we used an Ashley furniture credit card) and we needed to sign some more forms and send them back. Our payment cycle already started and we had already made a payment, so how was there an issue?? A week and a half later they delivered the wrong color couch.. so, we stored their property in our house for another two weeks before they showed up with the couch we ordered. BUT, the couch showed up with a big burn mark in the arm. Now we are stuck with a defective couch until they decide to send us yet another couch (we are praying it's actually right this time). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't spend your time or money on this place. If this review prevents even one person from being taken advantage of by this terrible company I'll be so very happy. I cannot and will not ever stop saying enough bad things about Ashley furniture. Victor is the manager of the Corvallis location and had the audacity to tell us to come back in for a deal on something! Great furniture! The store layout is beautiful! It's like Disneyland for adults! I am very impressed with how fast they can get furniture delivered now. I saw two sets I really like and both can be delivered as soon as 6 days! My mom ordered the Brashland brand bedroom set last year for my birthday present from the store in Corvallis and I'm in love! 12/4/2021 I ordered a sofa via phone to the Salem store on 4/26/21. It was estimated 8-10 week delivery but due to the pandemic, the salesman said it could be a couple weeks longer but not much longer. Fast forward to December 2021 and I still don't have my couch. I've had to call every month to find the status. Always the same thing.....it's on its way. I tried calling the Salem store a couple weeks ago and I could not get through. I left my number for a call back. When I got a call back, it was NOT from the Salem store. They told me the sofa was at the Salem store waiting for me to pick it up. I informed the person that I paid for the 5 star delivery at $129. They said I would need to call the Salem store. I said I did and it re-routed me. She tried to connect me to the Salem store and I got disconnected THREE times. I tried again to call the Salem store and could not get through. I finally called the Corvallis store and begged the lady for help. She said I would have to call the Salem store but she would try to get an answer. Because I live on the coast, she said it goes to a third party and they have no control over that. I asked her to do what she could. Later that day, I called Corporate to file a complaint because I'm still getting the run around. The recording told me my delivery was 2/22/2022. WHAT??? 3 more months when it's in a warehouse 2 hours from me? Unacceptable. I called AGAIN. I told the lady I've been given the run around, lies, mis communication, no answers etc and this type of treatment is unacceptable. I asked for a full refund because of the treatment I've been receiving. That was today......let's see if I actually get my refund. I'm prepared to fight. I'm SO disappointed. I had planned on buying a $5000 leather sectional from them. No way in heck I will EVER buy from them again. They dont follow through. They don't tell you the truth. No one called back. 12/4/21 11:09 am, 11:48 am. Called and spoke with Shia. She said it was still scheduled for pick up. I again, informed her I paid for delivery. She said it was a third party pick up and they are not responsible. I told her I've been getting the run around and she said she would try and take care of it and call back. 12/4/21 3:58 pm. Called and spoke with Katie. I found out delivery was scheduled for 2/22/22. I was upset because it was in a warehouse 2 hours away, why the additional 3 months? She said she was not responsible. I then requested a cancellation and full refund due to all the errors and lack of communication and missed time frames. She said she put in the cancellation and the store would call me within 72 hours. I have a case number. If I do not get a full refund in 7-10 days, I have all the paperwork prepared to file a Small Claims suit. I went to the Corvallis store and spoke with the manager. I had all my paperwork and explained everything. I have to say....he was very nice and accommodating. I maintained my composure because I know it wasn't his fault. Disappointed isn't saying enough. First had to ask for help from two people on their phones. Found nice sofa at reasonable price only to find out they don't stock anything and they wanted $200 for shipment of $650 item. Found same sofa on Amazon for same price with free delivery. We wanted to shop local so talked to them and we agreed on $40 delivery charge and delivery on Nov22. Sold our sofa thinking new one would be here for Thanksgiving. Didn't happen their shipping dept couldn't get them on the phone and neither could we. Went in They said store policy doesn't allow floor models to be sold so no sofa and back to Amazon! read more

I cannot tell what is going on with my order and their story changes from call to call. Sales staff said my couch would arrive in 8-10 weeks. I was even told by one salesperson that the couch I was looking at was arriving sooner. NOW they are saying they said it would be 8-12 weeks but the date they gave me is not until week 14. They seem grossly unaware of how their warehousing works and I feel duped into buying a sofa that I may or may not ever see. They took my money and I cannot even request to cancel and refund until week 12 (and then I MIGHT not have to pay a restocking fee). I specifically bought the couch from them because the sales person said it would probably arrive sooner. I called to check on it and was told it would arrive last week. When I heard nothing and called in, I was told it would be another 6 weeks. She is apologetic, but management (Doug) seems not to care at all. I have an entire house to furnish, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you look at Ashley's recent Better Business Bureau reviews. They are alarming. My sales person has been as helpful as I think she is empowered to be. This is a very poorly run store with horrible communication from corporate to warehouse to the store. Also, I need businesses to stop trying to blame COVID. Talk about capitalizing on a pandemic. Communication should be ramped up if they are going to claim delays at the hands of COVID. Also, according to their Better Business Bureau reviews these are not new issues since March 2020. read more

the furniture is fine, but getting furniture delivered is so difficult. they don't give you a time-frame for delivery until the day before delivery, so how the heck are you supposed to know when to take off work if you live alone?? AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!!! I ordered a sleeper sofa from Terrance at the Corvalis store in October and it was supposed to be delivered after 6-8 weeks. Considering that Covid was ongoing and there was the supply crisis I was generally willing to wait for the sofa I wanted. However, as the delivery approached in December I got a call three days before the delivery that there would be a delay until January 2022. I called and the delivery in December after this message and the representative said that the sofa wasn't even in yet, even though I had been told that it was ready for delivery earlier in November. Turned out there was nothing to be done (I should have cancelled the order, but I really needed this sofa). Now in January, I called to confirm the upcoming delivery and the representative said it is now scheduled for April. What!!! I tried to cancel the order and get a refund, but the sales rep said I paid in cash so I would have to wait for a check. I paid by credit card, it says so on the invoice, but they say I paid by cash. Another call back and they say I have to go through the store. I can not express the frustration and waste of time with this store. I have used Living Spaces and they delivered everything on time and were very helpful setting the room up. DO NOT SHOP HERE AT THIS STORE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. read more

The Corvallis store took our 1300.00 dollars June 26 th for a chair and said it would be in within 6 weeks. After 8 weeks we went to the store to get our money back, but were told to read the fine print on the back of the contract. Sure enough it said 10 weeks. After 12 weeks went back in from Newport to get our money back but we're told they tried to contact us but that was a Lie. So they held back 20% of our money. Their general manager is Jerry Frentress who made this decision. I will never shop at this store or will I recommend it to anyone. I have read many complaints like mine now, but I wish I would have read the reviews before shopping at this store. read more

Oh so many reasons to avoid this store. 1. Looked at a recliner I was going to purchase. Not in stock. Bought a dresser (500 bucks!!!) that WAS in stock. Went back the next day to purchase the chair (900 bucks) I had previously looked at. Stood around near the registers where manager was busy flirting with sales lady #1, and sales lady # 2 was in the process of learning something on the computer. At least SHE looked up and said someone will be with you as soon as possible. I went back to sit in the chair for another 30 min in plain view of check out area. I decided they must not need the sale that bad so left. 2. Delivery of dresser was prescheduled on a date agreed upon. We had multiple texts throughout the week saying we could have it earlier.We repeatedly said no, delivery date was good. A day before delivery they said we will be there between 12-4. So we went to sat market. At 1030 got a text saying they would be there in 30 min. An hour early. Not cool. We had to rush home to make sure to be there. Very nice delivery drivers leave it boxed in our bedroom. Find a chip out of the drawer and discover a crack in the wood on inside of drawer. Drawers do NOT shut equally. Plan to just take a hit on this because we are no way going to repackage or carry downstairs for return. I haven't called the store yet, however wanted to warn others away. read more

(YELP for some reason will not allow me to actually change the location, but this is for the CORVALLIS, OREGON location) Quite literally the ONLY good thing about the experience was the people that actually delivered the furniture. We bought a sectional and a king-sized bed frame, both of which were supposed to be in right around March or April (I can't remember the actual date because it kept changing), then we got a call that the bed frame had some delays, even though the bed frame was supposed to be in before the sectional was and they were waiting to deliver both pieces together (which we had requested), and would be a bit longer out. Both my partner and I have worked in the service industry before, so we tried to be understanding and flexible and accepted a delivery of the sectional and a new estimated date for the bed frame. This new date would continually change every time we called. We would get a date, it would come and go with zero communication, so we would call in to check and be told that they were still waiting on parts. It took SO LONG that the very nice woman we ordered with initially has since left the company. Our account was transferred to a woman named Linda, who then called to touch base. When we asked if she knew why the part was taking so long, she said that "people just don't want to work as much or as hard anymore," which we found to be INCREDIBLY disrespectful towards both their own coworkers and us. We finally got a delivery set up, which was done through an automated phone call that would not allow us to make adjustments for our schedules. Outside of the actual date of our delivery, we had no control over it. It was a choice between confirming the time window given or waiting even longer. This was incredibly irritating due to my partner's PTSD and sleep issues as a result of his military service. The first set of delivery people realized that the store didn't send any slats to put the mattress on for the bed frame, and said that they would talk to those in charge to get us what we needed to have a bed. When the second team came out, it turned out that the slats that they were given were too wide and didn't fit. We were told to expect a call from customer service - that never came. Luckily for us, the second team had accidentally left some tools behind and was willing to give us the number to call. Like I said before, both teams of delivery people were amazing and very professional. They were as angry as we were that the people above them had royally screwed them and us over. When I called customer service, I was initially told that I would have to wait until the next day to hear back about the issue. When I reminded her that, because of their screw up, we had no where to sleep, she said she would talk to the location manager to "see what they could do." Turns out "what they can do" is force us to sleep on the floor or the couch because they have to wait until the next day anyway to make the slats the right size, and figure out when to deliver them. As of the writing of this, 5:15 pm on Thursday, July 1st, 2021, we do not have a bed and are planning on escalating within corporate about the absolutely ridiculous disregard for our time as customers and their delivery teams' time as employees. This is ridiculous, disappointing, and INCREDIBLY angering, and we are recommending that nobody ever shop here. read more

I was thrilled to have Ashley move into Corvallis! It meant we could have high quality items in our backyard vs driving out of town. Unfortunately my excitement was short lived thanks to my recent experience. I purchased a couch (mid-November) that was "out of stock" online but the saleswoman Linda assured me that they would be able to get it "soon." "I'll call you after Thanksgiving to let you know when it's coming in." Never heard from her so called beginning of December to inquire. She stated that it wouldn't be in until January (although she assured me we'd have it by Christmas). I was not pleased but thanks to covid, I understood. I called back second week of January to inquire again and after a long pause on the phone, she stated, "I told you back in November it wouldn't be here until March." Needless to say, I had some choice words for Miss Linda. I would NEVER have waited 4 months for a couch if she had told me that back in November but alas, her word/my word. Thankfully the supervisor, Doug was able to refund me my full amount (hence 2 stars vs 1). I realize that covid has caused unforeseen circumstances but this negative interaction was easily preventable. Unfortunately I will take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I previously gave this location a 5 star review based on my interaction with one employee, which was pleasant. I felt it necessary to provide an updated review based on my recent experience in hopes that it will save someone the headache in the future. On September 16th I came in the store and ordered a bedroom set around $4000 total, I purchased this specific set because the associate confirmed it was in stock and would be delivered to me on September 22nd, I financed a portion through a special that they offered in partnership with Symphony and paid for the remaining balance. At the time of approval I was not provided a pamphlet with the terms and conditions (which I later learned this store has been out of them for over a month), the associate conveyed I would receive this information in the mail with the credit card. I receive a call on September 20th conveying my order was pushed back until the 29th, when I called for clarity they conveyed they were waiting for one piece, how when everything was supposedly in stock? I called back the next day to confirm the item came in and then they were waiting for another item so my order was pushed back to October 1st and then October 4th. After numerous calls and RUDE customer service I decided to go into the store to request a refund and look for furniture elsewhere. I go into the store today and explained to them what had occurred and that I'd like to cancel my order and be refunded. There was a "customer service rep" and "manager" at the desk and NEITHER one of them knew how to process a refund! The store manager was unable to assist initially, according to them because he was in a meeting and could not step away. So these two associates called their regional manager (Jazlyn) who was SUPER RUDE. She walked them through the process of refunding my personal card and conveyed that the symphony line of credit couldn't be refunded because it was never actually charged. She then rudely said I should know that because it's on my Symphony paperwork (the one I never received because they've been out over a month-which I was unaware of until today), I showed the two associates all of my paperwork and they also said they did not see what she was referring to. Then I asked to speak with her so that I could describe what was going on and she said she doesn't have time for that, a mess! Out of nowhere the actually floor associate who sold my furniture appeared and she confirmed that I never received the paperwork Jazlyn was referring to and seemed apologetic. So I asked for some sort of proof that my order was canceled for my record, the initial two associates said I should call Symphony to sort it out, like what?! Finally the sales associate was able to alert the store manager, I explained to him what occurred and stated that I simply wanted documentation that reflected my order was canceled and he was able to walk one of the "customer service rep" through the process in two minutes!! I expressed that the associates were undertrained and he agreed! All and all my frustration and reason for order cancellation was not only because of the delivery delay but largely because of the LACK OF customer service and clear communication. Walk away from this place. This furniture store is an absolute scam. The store itself is nice and the sales people are friendly and helpful, but the online store and delivery service are an absolute joke. I ordered a sleeper sofa back in August for a guest we were expecting on Sept 7th. Delivery date was scheduled as Sept 2nd, and a couple of days before that I was notified that delivery was rescheduled to Sept 7th. Then, on Sept 7th, just a few hours before delivery, I got a call telling me that the sofa could not be delivered due to warehouse issues and that I would be contacted within 24-48 hours to get rescheduled or to have the order canceled. No one contacted me in the past 4 days! After over 30 minutes on the phone, most of that time waiting on hold, I was offered $100 in credit if I agreed to delivery in November! Are you kidding me??? I canceled the order, got a case number, and they promised to send an email confirming my full refund within a few days, which I don't fully trust at this point. Will dispute the charge by end of next week if I don't get the refund by then. read more
