Inside, it's a CVS layout built around one large, square empty space. Each CVS location usually has space for product that are needed by tourists...here, it seemed to be beach chairs...they were everywhere. They have self-checkout lines in the front, which uses your CVS rewards and coupons, regardless of where you are from. Good deal.

This CVS is conveniently located nearby a bunch of hotels on Main. However, my rating goes from 4 stars to 2 starts after a bad interaction with one of the staffers at the pharmacy register. I felt that this staffer judged me based on what I looked like to her and treated me inappropriately. Should you encounter weirdness or nastiness from people working here, don't let this ruin you day or your trip if you're a vacationer like me. There are other pharmacies on the island.

I stopped into Walgreens today which has been my pharmacy for over 15 years. I needed to pick up my…read moreprescription and other pharmacy items that qualified under my FSA account. I had 2 additional items that did not qualify under my FSA and asked if I could add them to my overall purchase at the pharmacy. The technician "huffed" said nothing and continued to ring up my items. After I ran my FSA I had a remaining g balance of $30.00+ for the other items. I pulled up my Walgreens cash rewards and asked to apply it. The technician clearly grew more agitated and replied "I don't know how to use that ", I asked if she could please ask the other tech who was working along side her and she grumbled something under her breath, "tissed through her teeth" at me and walked away without asking the other tech and without acknowledging what I even asked. I then asked the other tech who was just 4ft away if she could help apply my rewards and she kindly did. The other "rude" tech was then taught how to do it and grumbled the final remaining balance at me. I said " wow you're not having a good day ha?" , she then replied "yup and you're making it sooo much better" in an extremely rude tone. I replied back and said "well that's good, I'm glad I can do that for you" she "tissed" again, I paid my balance with my debit card, while doing my best to maintain my composure, and she rudely passed my bag across the counter. I grabbed my bag quickly and said "lighten up" and walked out as she proceeded to laugh out loud behind my back. I'm not the one and today isn't that day, as I am fighting a terrible cold. Hence all the medicine I purchased. Needless to say, I love this Walgreens, and have been a loyal customer for years and have never experienced this type rudeness there. Ever. Clearly she was a bit childish, acting entitled as if ringing me up was not her job. Some of the kiddos in the new "20 something's" generation behave as if they have no understanding of what respect for others is and clearly no formate able work ethic or much experience. The store manager at this store is amazing as is the entire rest of her staff but this "newbie" clearly needs a lesson in customer service. Should I encounter her again here I will request another tech to avoid sinking to her level and letting her know that I am not the one.

I went to get some soft drinks for a get together and they had a large selection of them...mostly populated by the Coca Cola and Pepsi brand products, but they also had their generic Great Value label and some smaller ones. Okay hear me out!…read more This Walmart is giving me very much '90s/early 2000s vibes before Walmart started carrying groceries. This is probably the strangest Walmart I've ever patronized, and I'm not quite sure why it is set up the way it is, to be honest (I think it stays alive because there's an actual grocery store a few doors down). It's odd - like parts of it are what you might see in any other Walmart (outdoors/bikes for example), but it's almost more heavy on the clothing side and less so on the household goods and groceries side. It's like an abbreviated version of a standard Walmart. They have a much smaller selection than a regular Walmart, and there is zero produce. The reefer/freezer section is one aisle (frozen on one side, refrigerated on the other). The service seems fine (I used self-checkout both times I went, so can't say for sure), but just know that if you're expecting a regular Walmart, that's not what you're going to find here.

The stomatic tea is delicious for after dinner and the flu shot tea really does help diminish the length of a cold it seems. My favorite tea she makes and the most useful for me because I smoke is the Lung Tea. The lung tea with some honey in it is certainly my favorite tea that I drink- out of all the teas I buy. The teas are amazing and the quality of the herbs are always top notch. She can provide bulk herbs as well which is great, and recently was treated to seeing some nice superfoods on display in her store which is a great addition considering the type of store. I highly recommend this place and will be very sad to see it close. There's not too many places like this around.

Having Tricare means we have the lovely opportunity to try each pharmacy and military treatment…read morefacility in our duty station bases. Hawaii had a huge hospital with a tiny pharmacy, CT has a huge pharmacy with a tiny hospital, and this clinic is moderately sized with a very appropriately sized pharmacy. The pharmacy is directly inside the front doors to the right, with an automated kiosk for check in. There is some seating, but not enough, and they have about 5-6 windows for clients. The wait can be long, but the people working behind the counter are courteous and efficient. It is a military base, so most of the people waiting for prescriptions are active duty or their family members, although I do see quite a few vets who come in for their meds as well. There is a gorgeous open area enclosed with glass by the seating area that lets in natural light and gives you something to look at, however right now it's just growing copious numbers of weeds. Sad. Selection is good, and they have been decent with making sure to stock medications and fill on time. It's nothing much to look at, and doesn't offer many perks, but they are fast, efficient and free, so it's worth the trip. Ample parking with their awkward one way road circling the facility, which may change with the ongoing $4+million renovation.

My wife Lauretta and I have been going there for over 50 years (not an error... 50 years!), and I can attest to the courteous and efficient service provided by the staff at the pharmacy. I have always felt the same way for the staff of civilians inside the pharmacy that I suspect are hard at work even now during this COVID Pandemic. It felt great being in a welcoming, well organized and functioning operation like this. This may seem like a rather small thing to praise, but after living outside of military facilities for some years now, it is a refreshing change.
