The guy who made our food asked me when he was putting the wrap together if I wanted "everything" on it. I asked what everything meant, and he went down the list of veggies and sauces. I told him that the only thing I didn't want was peppers of any kind. Despite this, the wrap had two different kinds of peppers. The falafel inside the wrap was cold, dry, and fell apart like sand. It was hands down one of the worst falafel I've ever eaten. Unfortunately that's not where it ended. Hubby's sando was terrible, he said the sauce on the grinder was so heavy handed, he couldn't taste anything inside it. The desserts were not much better, with the cookie being dry and crumbly, and the cakes being ok but not great. The wait time for these items to be made was pretty long, and even with that long wait time they were not well made, or even made according to our personal order. I don't know of the quality of the items, because they tasted so bad, we got maybe two or three bites in and chucked them directly in the garbage. Prices were ok if they had been worth eating, and service was slow and inaccurate. I'm not sure what the hype is here, but it's definitely not for the items we had at our visit. We will definitely not be returning, given how many other better options exist in this area.

A Shell gas station paired with a Seasons Corner Market convenience store is the cream of the crop when it comes to refueling your car or your body, and this one is in a prime location on that tourist mecca known as Thames Street, Newport. As is typical of Seasons Corner Markets, this location is more upscale and immaculate than a Cumberland Farms. It features six fuel pumps (including diesel) that are intelligently located amid a parking lot that is not huge, but barely adequate during the off-season. They still did a brisk business on a blustery early April day, so I can only imagine how busy they get when summer is in full swing. I've reviewed so many Seasons Corner Markets that I don't want to repeat myself, so suffice it to say, they have a great selection of drinks, snacks and to-go foods, all well-stocked and nicely presented, with two public bathrooms that are swankier than bathrooms of your typical residence. I stopped here Thursday afternoon to buy a soda and candy bar to accompany a lunch I brought from home (pot roast and mashed potatoes). I didn't want to eat my lunch cold, so I brought the container in and used their microwave to heat it up, and the dude behind the counter was pretty chill about it. She went in back for over 5 minutes then yelled no across the store. A passport is one of the most official form of ID in America over a state issued ID, how is it they can't accept that? They have HbC section which is great for people who's staying in the area ( Navy lodge or barracks). The people are very accommodating and friendly. Although the minimart closes at 5 pm everyday and is closed on the weekends, the Gas pumps is open for service 24/7.
