Had an embarrassing incident here in which I accidentally knocked a drink on what looked like an empty table. I gave a few euros for the drink and apologized to the customer. The owner had seen the incident and kindly gave me a free cup of coffee, which he did not have to do. Admitted the incident left me mortified and wanting to leave the cafe quickly. I hope to revisit Salzburg one day and go to the cafe again to have a proper visit. I will be more careful about watching where I walk next time.

The service was minimal, unfriendly, and far from welcoming. While the view is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was disappointing.
