The only reason sketchy experience I've had here is one other time I tried to visit, they shut down a 1/2 hour before posted closing time, I was super hangry, they had some food available, but the worker wanted to go home more than reopen the register and feed me. However, I haven't had issues since then and if the food stays this tasty, I'd probably upgrade to a 5 since they have specials that I don't often see elsewhere in PVD.

Pretty smart for the owners. So I'll eaten here quite a few times and their selections have the basics and a few different specials that usually is offered on a rotation of availability. Small dining area with a couple of tables. Primarily a take out establishment. The kitchen area is actually a larger floor space than the dining area so that means they prep and cook all day. Pretty busy the last few times I've stop by to pick up lunch on the road. That is a very good spot for a quick lunch and the selections are generally very satisfying. Definitely 1 of the better Dominican cafeterias around the neighborhood with a really good butcher shop next door and very convenient parking makes this an easy choice to make a break to Elwood Avenue so close to the the 95 exit. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're into the Dominican style food.
