The ambiance is nice bright and decorative. Clean. The service is always great, and Jimmy always remembers me and is so welcoming every time I come in. The ladies in the front are pleasant and everyone teams up to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. Everybody I've brought here ends up loving this place too. When we called in to confirm that the Udon noodles do NOT have egg (as we have a child with an egg allergy), the woman taking our order curtly said "I threw out the box, it's white, you have to look for yourself." When we mentioned we do not know the brand to look, she replied "me neither, I threw out the box." Needless to say - the food is great, but honestly, the family owned business officially sucks. However the Chicken Katsu came with a bbq type sauce and everyone thought the sauce was delicious. My fiance ordered the bbq mix which included the bbq chicken, beef, and short ribs and I thought the beef was so yummy. The portion size was big. All the combos come with either 1-2 scoops of rice and macaroni salad. My meal was pretty perfect for 2 whole meals for me. I ate the katsu with my leftover rice for breakfast the next morning! Kimchi - Korean BBQ steak paired with kimchi cilantro, scallions, sesame seeds and chili flakes. Luau Pork - Hawaiian pulled pork marinated in a sweet chili BBQ sauce. I've been working from home for several years & I sometimes just need to get out & be near other humans. A few friends who work everyday in those tall buildings downtown (ha ha suckers!) recommended this place so I drove into the city just to try this truck. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I'll be back soon! Also, I lived in Buffalo for a few years so I have high expectations for the size of wings I get at restaurants. These wings were among the biggest I've had anywhere (outside of Buffalo).
