Overall our experience there was good and we do like the food and the concept there. However, we visited twice and there was a red flag each time. The first time, we went during the soft opening. They had just spilled some soda on the floor by one of the booths. When they went to seat us, there were plenty of open tables, but they decided to put us at that table. Chalk it up to inexperienced restauranteurs. The second time, more recently, they caught wind that patrons were taking advantage of their unlimited bowl for $20 and taking food home with them. So they changed the policy within a couple of months to forbid take home or you have to pay full price for the second bowl. So $15 for a single bowl; is it worth it? It depends on how well you pile up your bowl to be grilled. I use hard veggies like carrot slices to build a wall at the edge of my bowl to lengthen it. So in the end, it's a good size meal for the price. As long as the ingredients are fresh, the taste and texture is really up to you. read more

I'm honestly really disappointed with the service here. I've been a few times and the wait times and attentiveness from the waitstaff have often been subpar, but my most recent visit was by far the worst experience yet. It consistently takes a long time for a a waitress to come by to check on the table or even give you the chance to place an order. There have been multiple visits where we were sitting there waiting far longer than we should just to get basic service. Unfortunately, this last time took it to another level. When the waitress finally came to take our order, she took my partner's order but completely skipped over mine and started walking away. I had to stop her to let her know I hadn't ordered yet. Even when she came back to take my order, she started walking away before I was even finished speaking, which made the whole interaction feel rushed and dismissive. What makes this more frustrating is that the food is usually good, which is why we've given this place multiple chances. The kitchen clearly does a solid job, but the overall experience is consistently hurt by the lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff. Good service goes a long way in a restaurant experience, and unfortunately that's been the weakest part here every time I've visited. I hope management addresses the attentiveness and professionalism of the waitstaff, because the repeated long waits and lack of attention really take away from what could otherwise be a great place to eat. read more

If you like hot fresh food cooked to order assemble by you then you would enjoy this place. You get to create your own bowl from picking types of rice, vegetables to picking all the proteins you can eat and then choosing which sauce to season your food. All of it is then cooked in the open kitchen. This is a nice fun way to try different sauce food combinations. The best place to take all your friends despite their food preference. You have the freedom to choose your protein or not, varieties of vegetables and sauces. Then put bowl on tray and start making ur bowl! DONT FORGET to fill out ur paper card and bring it with u to fill ur bowl. U gotta choose ur 3 / put special directions if u need. Ur going to see noodles first in the line of toppings but dont forget ur bowl will b served over ur choice of 3 options wen u hand it in which are white rice fried rice with egg or lo mein. Or u can get nothing like i did on my 2nd bowl. Wen u get to the sauces and seasonings. Get how many lil 2 oz plastic cup u need and season/sauce ur food as u need. Then hand in ur tray (dont forget ur paper card) to the lady. They gonna suatee it up and then that lady gonna bring u ur food. - Rules: i think theres a 2 hour limit here. And if u waste any large amount of food they charge u for it i think. There were a lot of signs. Couldnt read them all in time. So much was going on, it was my first time. Great simple concept with good service. Definitely would go again. Prices reasonable for a fill as much as you want in your bowl for only $15. I misunderstood and thought that I could go for repeated bowls, but it is just a one time thing and you have to pay an additional four dollars for another bowl. They give you options for Rice as a base and I chose the fried rice with an egg which was very good. The rice doesn't count against your bowl container so that is nice. The only issue would be that the bowls are pretty small so you can only fill so much. The food was definitely good! read more

Came into Yummy Bowl during the soft opening and had a great experience. My son, husband and I all did the stir fry. We also had crab Rangoon to start. All three of us really enjoyed our stir fry and the Rangoon. The staff was super helpful and walked us through every step which was very helpful. Next time, I think I'll just choose one or two sauces for my stir fry and will bring a cup of an additional sauce cup over to the table for dipping! My husband tried this place on Monday during lunch at work and said we HAD to come back together. We had dinner there last night and the food was delicious. We did the create your own bowl. Our server was very helpful in explaining how it works. They have a variety of toppings to add to your rice. I am gluten sensitive and they had 3-4 Gluten Free Sauces which was super nice. Curry Sauce, Viet Nam Sauce, Thai Chili Sauce and Fresh Garlic Oil were all Gluten Free and Labeled. I did ask for Tamari but they do not currently carry it. They are already in the process of getting some for the future. I had the Viet Nam Sauce, definitely some spiciness to it! I do wish I got a little more rice but, I will just ask next time. The restaurant was super clean and had so much space. We didn't feel rushed and all the staff were so helpful. We will definitely be back and will be trying some sushi next time! Before writing this review, I thought that I would visit a second time first. I love Mongolian grill. Ideally, you pick your vegetables, meat, seafood, seasons, and sauces. Your told that you can fill you bowl as high as you can and the cook will prepare it in the grill. My 1st visit was a dine in. When I received I food, it appeared that some of my selected items were missing. I thought that I may have just missed something. On Thursday evening I thought I would try again as a carry out. I was very strategic with my selections. When I got my food home, I noticed that items were indeed missing from my platter. Notably missing were all of my crab (which is what I REALLY want in this platter) , half of my scallops and chicken, and most of the Jalepenos. This was a true definition of bait and switch. I am so very disappointed. It makes me wonder how often is this done daily. Very, very disappointing. read more
