Maui's Car Wash - Gas Stations Near Me - Bel Air, Maryland

First time using this service. Not so great interior service. First off they're understaffed so I waited 20 min after washing exterior. Kind of backwards compared to other services which clean your interior before going through the wash. Nonetheless, I paid $25 for the big kahuna wash especially because I needed my interior cleaned. As you can see in the pics the service was subpar. My dash board still had dust and dog hair and the cup holder wasn't even looked at. Between the seat and console is still dirty too. Didn't ask them to re-do because I had other things to do and had to leave. The plus side I only paid $2.05/gal whereas other gas stations in the area are upwards of $2.35. I'll have to go home now and clean the leftover dirt. Should've done it myself. read more

What a waste of money. Not sure what they even did other than take my car magnet. I paid for the most expensive package and my (two week old car) was still dirty in literally every place I expectedly be clean: steering wheel, gear shifter, console, handles. Outside still covered in dead bugs (remember car is only 2 weeks old so they weren't all caked on there). I mean, at least they cleaned the windshield. read more

I used the self service car wash and the time ran out without warning, I heard beeping when I started for the person next to me so naturally I expected mine to beep to add more quarters, turns out, this feature doesn't work in each stall. The "free vacuum" only works for 60 seconds then you have to push the button multiple times to restart it. I left with soap on my car and went to another car wash. Disappointed in my experience although it wasn't completely awful. The employee was nice enough. Some minor scratches on my hood from where they were trying to scrub off bird poo. The tunnel experience was "meh". And after spending $15 on my wash, I then had to hassle with obtaining change to vacuum my car out after which the vacuum didn't work, had to notify the employee twice, and move to another vacuum. The lot could have been better maintained. I just moved here after working on the corporate side of a car wash owner for two and half years. I thought he was a bit exhausting but now I see what a huge difference there is. Won't be returning here. read more

Very professional Detail Shop and Reasonable prices! Owner answered my message right away and got me in next day. Jason was waiting for me and was kind and politely escorted me to a waiting area where I chose to wait for my car to be done. A very kind employee inside kept me company with small chit chat until car was finished. Jason has his worked cut out for him as my car definitely was more work than he quoted me and yet he didn't once mention more money. Car looked spectacular and I will definitely be a customer of theirs again and recommend them to anyone who can appreciate decent honest kind people who respect your time and property :). Don't waste your time and money. I usually wash my car myself but thought I would save time and run it through at Mauis. Came through and still had bird droppings and other dirt on the car and the car was still very wet. The blow drying is pointless. I requested my money back, and was told I could run it back through. If it isn't clean the first time, I would guess it wouldn't be the second either. There is no money back option if your car is still dirty. Will just wash myself next time. read more

The 35 dollar quick detail may seem like a decent value but not worth it. They dont do the basics well. Windows were wiped down with a rag so when i got on the road you can see the streaks and bugs still on the windshield. Mirrors werent touched and didnt bother vacuming around the mats. Get what you pay for. read more

Absolute worst "full service" car wash I have ever been to. Interior of windows were not cleaned at all, center console and leather seats were not vacuumed. I purchased the Big Kahuna wash which should have included those services. I waited 45 mins for them to finish and then spent an additional 25 mins finishing the job. I used to come in and get their Express Super Detail and every time I was completely satisfied. i have two children and pets that come in and out of my vehicle and the staff at Maui's has always been very courteous and thorough when they clean the inside of my vehicle and the wax they put on keeps my car shining! I recently signed up for their unlimited wash club and can now keep the outside of my van clean and only have to pay a small amount when I need the inside cleaned. The friendly staff take pride in their work and the owner has recently made a few upgrades that show his pride in ownership. This used to be a good place to get a little extra service for your car. Now it falls under the category if you want something done right do it yourself. The $35 express detail along with any other service is not worth the time you wait nor the money. I've given the benefit of the doubt and tried it on a few occasions and realized that it's not even a good job. Dash board isn't clean, windows look smeared and there was no effort made to even clean them just wipe them. The tire shine being used is severely diluted so your wheels just look the same as coming from the wash. If you want to run your car through for a quick clean on the outside it's satisfactory, beyond that save your money and use their vacuum and clean your windows yourself. Oh yeah that hand buff shame, god forbid they bend down and get the lower half of your car. Meanwhile when I asked about the windshield I was told it needs to be scrubbed to clean it. Hmmm wasn't that the whole reason for the additional service beyond the mechanical wash? I used to go to Van Bibber off 24 but changed because this was place was more convenient, lesson learned. They would be better suited to simply do away with the additional services and have the guys stand out front and dry the cars off as they exit. read more
