I had such a good experience with him that I brought my 21-year old Honda Accord to be inspected. George found several issues with the car and was quick in contacting me. Very pleased with the work they did on my car! In the past year, I've visited them 3 times with my car. Inspection/ tires put on, steering alignment, and steering cuppler replacement. Each time they have been very professional and helpful. The mechanics definitely know what they're doing and are fair with their prices. Each time I've called my car was able to go within the next week. I really like that the mechanics are the ones you talk to on the phone when you make appointments. They answer any questions you have unlike other places that have receptionists that don't know anything about cars. Will continue to go back to Del Haven. read more

Del Haven services on 801 Conowingo Road in Bel air put my life and others at risk! Dropped my truck off for what I believed what be front brakes and possible rotors although my intention was to ask them to leave the old rotors on. The next day I get a call from George stating it needed front brakes, rotors and possible left caliper. We spoke about the age and shape of the vehicle and about how much money I even wanted to put in to this truck. Before I even mentioned about the possibility of leaving the old rotors on George did. He said we can see how they do for a bit and I could always bring it back later to put them on if needed. We agreed on replacing the brakes and left caliper if needed. I asked George if I could call him back in 30 minutes to let me think if I wanted to dump this money in to the truck. I called back later in the day and spoke with a young lady and introduced myself and told her to please let George know to move forward with the front brakes and left caliper if needed. She said she would let him know and we hung up. I then get a call from another mechanic at Del Haven later on in the day and says my truck is complete, gives me my total which was about $50 higher than what we talked about which wasn't a big deal, and then mentions that they did the brakes and rotors, but the left caliper wasn't needed. I explained to that mechanic that George and I said we weren't doing the rotors and he said I would have to call the next morning to speak with George. I called him this morning and spoke to George. I told him I got a call last night that the rotors have been replaced, and the amount was higher than we originally discussed, and he immediately got defensive and claimed that we did not agree to that. I then said when I called back and spoke with the young lady, I even told her to do just the front brakes and the left caliper which he didn't have an answer for. At no point was I rude, raise my voice, or swear. I thought we were having a discussion of where the line of communication broke down. George then says to me "Craig, do you just want me to take the son of a bitches off?" I replied yeah George sarcastically thinking why is it even this far. Well he hung up on me after that. I'm pretty fired up at this point with the way George spoke to me and hanging up on me. I got in my truck and drove up there within 10 minutes and he has my truck already on the lift and removing the rotors. I walk in and the ask the Co owner Ashley if I can speak with George. She said he's busy and he can talk to me in 30 mins. I see George and I asked if him if he wanted to be an asshole now that I'm there. Yes, I shouldn't have. I start speaking with Ashley and she starts blaming me. Basically the notes don't say anything about not doing the rotors, that when I called in and told the young lady and told her to do front brakes and left caliper if needed that it's assumed rotors are with it, that George was only like that on the phone because of me, etc. If you look up the definition of gaslighting you may see a picture of her. She would not listen to what I was saying. Just tried to over talk me the whole time. She threatened to call the cops on me as well, etc. I leave their building and wait in my other truck I drove up there in. 10 minutes later Ashley comes out and says my truck is done. I pay for services with the old rotors back on and explain to Ashley that all they had to do was say there was a miscommunication. I then drove my truck less than a mile and my left tire completely comes off the studs. The rotor went across the pavement a couple of feet so that is destroyed, the studs on the wheel hub were bent, and I couldn't open my drivers side door. I had my truck towed to another mechanic and called Ashley back to ask her if she was prepared to pay for the damages to my truck due to their gross negligence. She said no and we hung up. On to the next step. Thanks goodness this didn't happen when I was doing 40 mph on Conowingo and no one was injured. The intersection on Conowingo I turn at is notorious for bad accidents. This could have been way worse and for Del Haven to not take ownership is egregious. I highly recommend using a different mechanic. Added bonus. Their mechanic Jacob Comer (now has changed his name on FB to Jacob Daniel) this this post is funny by his laughing emoji. How can anyone support this business. read more

Liars. Left car in an emergency situation on a Saturday night. I filled out work slip and waited until Monday morning to hear from them. They called Monday morning and agreed to fix my radiator. Honestly, I was surprised and thrilled they'd work on it because it's a very old car. I added a oil change to the work order at this point. Long story short picked up the car and starting driving away and my hood latch fell on my foot, didnt think too much of it until I had to pop my hood a week later and found out I couldn't.... When I called and told them they broke my hood latch they proceed to tell me it was that way when they got it AND that my hood wasn't even latched shut when I left it. LIARS !!!!!! Long story short, I asked them to fix 3 things and when I came home with my car there were 2 things wrong with it that wasn't wrong with it originally. LIARS. read more
