Bibla fed misinformation to my mother to the effect of that, as estate executor, she should give…read moreout little-to-nothing of a partially sold estate while a drawn-out legal contest of the will goes on (as of this writing), on the premise of expected taxes and legal fees; this is while another part of the estate generates likely more than enough money to cover legal fees, and the taxes will only be some single-digit percent of the estate, the latter of which he didn't know and I found out within a few minutes of Googling. I first tried calling him to civilly discuss the matter, he quickly said that he had to attend to something else and would call me back; he never did and didn't apologize when I called him days later: strike one. That second conversation, he told me that the heirs can stand to wait a bit longer for a share of their inheritance (as if it's his place to say that, barely knowing most of us). To this, I nicely tried explaining there will be some financial hardship for me in the short run without any inheritance received (the largest part of my inheritance is a property whose sale is about to close), and if he could find the relevant estate tax law and tell my mother about what that would be. He told me in effect that it's my grandpa's money, not mine, and thus I can just wait to get it (wow...). About that tax law information, the kind of thing he's paid to know and I found out in a few minutes? He has yet to tell the information to my mother, as of this writing. It became clear to me that this guy either didn't like me due to someone else's earlier characterization of me that I don't know about, or that he's jealous of heirs to large estates... or both. In any case, he was rude when I was polite, and bad at his job.

He misspelled one of our names and put the wrong address on our tax return, basic information that should absolutely be correct. When we asked to sit down with him for a few minutes to review everything and make sure it was accurate, he flat-out refused and became immediately nasty. At that point, we asked for our check back so we could have our taxes done elsewhere by someone who would actually give us the time of day. He told us he had already cashed it, so we asked him to write us a check. He did but then, as he was handing it to us, he pulled it back to make a copy. He then handed us the copy and sarcastically asked why we would need a copy of a check. When we said because he handed it to us, he responded, "Yeah, because I wanted to see how little you pay attention." It only got worse. He told us the only reason he agreed to do our taxes was because of who our family is, and that we couldn't possibly be related to them because we are "too stupid." When we reminded him that we were there because he made mistakes and that he should be apologizing instead of belittling us, he said "I don't apologize". Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable behavior, especially from someone handling something as important as your taxes. There is a reason this firm has so many one-star reviews. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

On top of that, his bookkeeping is atrocious - He will send you bills even though you already paid him long ago . He will make appointments for you to come in and he doesn't show up. He will tell you he called the IRS or the State or wrote letters on your behalf and you later find out no such calls or letters were ever made. Please, verify what he tells you and don't rely on his word.
