This park is so beautiful! If you visit the Perez Art Museum or the Frost Science Museum you can easily enjoy the park after your museum day. I recently did Diplo's Run Club, and the festival stage was in the Maurice Ferré Park and enjoyed the open space. read more

A very nice park to wait at while my family member is getting treatment at a local hospital. There's a dog park portion which is nice. They also have gym equipment in the middle of the park. You can see water from almost everywhere. They have bathrooms that were clean. read more

Had the best time ever at the park today. This spot is not only great for groups to walk around and check out cool sculptures and art but also a great way to spend the entire day with a group of friends and have a field day. We came here with a group of friends and had a blast! A must see doesn't matter how long the drive just go the area is perfect to park and walk around and just chill. Parking is not free but not expensive. What a park this is turning out to be. Today I walked around the cat and dog sculpture Park area. I was impressed by the colorful cats and dog sculptures displayed. This is definitely worthy of a trip. The park is located Oceanside, as well as being next to the art museum and the science museum. The park office views of the cruise ships plenty of sculptures to see and has lots of green grass to run around on. To be noted the park is very well kept and was lovely and clean. Maurice A. Ferré Park is a 30 acre park in downtown Miami, Florida. The park is bordered on the south by the FEC Slip and American Airlines Arena, on the west by Biscayne Boulevard, and on the north by the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. From 1900 until the 1960's the land the park sits on was the Port of Miami until it was moved to Dodge Island. Created from the dock slips of the old Seaboard Air Line Railroad, the land was cleaned up and turned into a park. When the park opened in 1976 it was originally named Bicentennial Park in honor of America's bicentennial. From 1986 until 1993 the park was the site of the Grand Prix of Miami. When construction began on the Perez Art Museum and Frost Museum of Science, ten million dollars was given to the park to update it. The park reopened on June 14, 2014 as Museum Park. In 2019 the Miami City Commission voted to rename the park in honor of long time mayor and community activist Maurice A. Ferré. Mr. Ferré was the city's first Hispanic mayor and he served from 1973 to 1985. He also served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1967 to 1968 and later as vice chairman of the Dade County Board of Commissioners. The park does not have free parking. The lot is metered and costs $5 an hour. Park amenities include a dog park, paved exercise path, benches, restroom, public art, and some of the best views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline from downtown. I did a run around the park during a recent visit to the Frost Museum. While I found the views of Miami from the park stunning, it was filled with homeless people which if you know Miami is not surprising but they kept to themselves and weren't harassing anyone. It is very easy to visit the park, especially if you are already at the Perez or Frost which both open onto the park. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a walk on the historic old Port of Miami. read more

Wish I lived by here or the parking was cheap. I love this park. This park is located close to the American airlines arena, bayside, and wynwood. It is next to and adjoining the Frost museum. It always contains outdoor art probably from the Frost museum. The park is huge and is located next to the water. I would love to come here just to jog. It has numerous winding walkways that take you through the park that includes stairs and walkways. It has hills and steeps that you can run through or take your kids through. It gives you this amazing view of the Miami skyline and its located next to numerous places to eat and drink. I've come here for numerous events my last being a heart walk. Too bad it cost so much money to park and come here. If it was way cheaper I would be here much more often. read more

Museum park is beautiful. It's definitely a great spot to take some great photos outdoors. You have a beautiful view of Miami's cruise port and the ocean. One of my favorite parts of this park are the cool swinging chairs. I love to sit back and relax on these while admiring the beauty of our city. They also have a restaurant which is part of the Perez museum where you can have a nice lunch with all the amazing views that surround this area. The only down fall is that to park in the garage is expensive. It's the same garage as the Perez museum and Frost museum. However, if you have taken the metro mover or was thinking of taking it then do it because it has a stop right at Museum Park! read more

Museum Park is such a nice addition to the downtown scene. There's plenty of green space, trees for shade, and the water all around. More recently, I've been enjoying it as a part of my running route from Brickell through downtown; however, I could definitely see myself coming back here to just hang out for the day or participate in free yoga throughout the week! With PAMM and AAA nearby, this makes for a nice strip that's definitely worth showing off to visitors. I'll be back! read more

Museum Park is beautiful! Definitely is a great spot for great photography of the outdoors. You can sit and relax on one of the hammocks right by the waterfront while enjoying of the breeze. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the parking can be quite expensive. Also museum park is the backyard of the Perez Art Museum so make sure to also take advantage of that. read more

Such a nice respite in the middle of the city. Two great museums anchor the park. The views from both museums are spectacular - downtown, the port and Miami Beach. This is a great place for a morning walk. Walk through the spacious park and see some greenery and placed sculpture. You can then walk closer to the water and take a moment to look out. Also, seating is available in this area. In addition you can ogle over fancy huge yachts that are super close and amazing. I enjoyed my wonderful walk throughout this park connected to some museums. If in the area, particular visiting in the area at a hotel, this is a great location to get a little walk/run action in throughout the day as time admits. read more

This park is great as it has stunning views of the Miami skyline as well as Biscayne bay. It's great to walk around as it is well maintained including the bathrooms. It is common to see people working out all throughout the park and of course taking pictures of the amazing views. Nice park overlooking the bay, gathering Museums, AA (nextdoor), and lots of green area!!! It is tucked behind the Perez Art Museum, with all the construction and tarps and fences, you might think this is non-existent. If you come in through the Perez Art Museum, you can, it's all the way to the green area.. just keep walking and you will access the park. Accessing from closer to AAA American Airlines Arena, there is an access, not exactly next to it, but there is an inlet close the Arena... and access to the park is next to it. Once you enter to the park, you will be able to see several pieces of work.... I guess hence the name... Museum Park. It's a nice calm feeling and lots of green in this area, nice to relax, enjoy the day outside, or even do the Herald Hunt!!! read more

Downtown needs more green! This park may be barebones but it's got a pretty decent view on the east side. There is a "sandbox" over by the east side too, i imagine some of the locals probably use it as a tanning pit when they don't feel like driving to the beach. Aside from the sandbox you've got your choice of a tree dense shaded area or an open grassy area. The grass is good 'ol miami grassifidicus greenicus (not any sort of fancy itchy foreign grass) which is really nice to roll around in. Reason i traveled to this park was to do yoga. It was nice and quite, not too many people running around, and you get that nice seabreeze that's smells of fish farts and a hint of diesel. I would definitely recommend it as a yoga spot for small groups! I know i'll definitely be going back for some. read more

Museum park arrived about a year or two ago now as Miami's newest green space. The run down Bicentennial Park that lay before on that plot of land, was so tired and had to go. The green space is vast with rolling hills, some nice trees, and touches Biscayne Bay. It makes for a great picnic spot after taking in some modern art at the neighboring PAMM Art Museum. read more

I absolutely love this park. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it costs $20 to park your car there. Take the metro or walk there if you're local. We spent our Sunday on a blanket under the palm trees, listening to music, talking, and enjoying the views/weather. read more

This museum is really beautiful! Cashiers at the front are very friendly and coordials. It has different rooms with lost of amazing art. They have all types of presentations, from painting, sculptures to photographs all over the place. The rooms are big and very comfortable to walk and appreciate everything they have to offer. The museum is always presenting new cool artists. What I love the most about this place is that is located next to the bay. You can see cruise ships all day and the water is always relaxing to watch. Museum park, still to this day, is one of my favorite spots in Miami! I use to live down the street from here and walk my puppy on my sunny days off and it was always a good time. The number one things I love about this park is how SPACIOUS it is. In a overcrowded, overbearing city as Miami (especially Downtown and being near the arena) it's surprisingly very serene and peaceful here......always. And I've come at all weird times of the day and has been the same. Great place for runners. I rather run the sidewalks here by far before running at Margaret pace park because of the long stretches and routes you can take. Great place to take friends and visitors new to Miami because of the insanely gorgeous city views. Museum Park is a gorgeous undulating green expanse of 30 acres located in downtown Miami, east of Biscayne Boulevard and hugging the bay. Aptly named, the park is home to the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Two other cultural institutions, Museum of Art And Design (MOAD) in historic Freedom Tower and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, are just a few short blocks away. The late and famed architect Zaha Hadid's One Thousand Museum, a stunning architectural gem, is located directly opposite the park and the American Airlines Arena separates it from Bayfront Park to the south. Museum Park offers a welcome respite from the baking heat of downtown streets where the sound of construction and the constant hum of traffic is omnipresent. I took a long cycle through the park early this July 4th morning. Most people were either sleeping in or away for the long weekend as it was quieter than usual. There are several walking/cycling paths and copses of shade trees throughout the park where permanent outdoor sculptures provide points of interest. The beautiful bay walk stretches all the way from PAMM and connects to a long promenade that serves as the main point of entry to the park. The spectacular 20-foot bronze sculpture, "Flora la Recogedora de Sueños," dedicated to the City of Miami in 2010, is located at this entrance. Breathtaking views of the ocean as well as the glittering and ever evolving Miami skyline surround the park. Ramps provide access to the museums' terraces and gardens. There are plenty of benches and shaded spots to relax. Museum Park is flawlessly designed and esthetically pleasing to the eyes. The Metromover has a convenient station stop here and parking is available at the museums. A visit to Museum Park is a downtown must! read more

This is a great park. It has very modern design and is kept very clean. It is opposite the area where the new 1000 museum apartment complex is being built. There are many festivals held on the grounds and some of the most beautiful Yacht's are docked here. I like it because it is serene, clean, quiet, and my usual route is over the brickell bridge, through bayfront then end at museum park. I highly suggest this park for people who just want to relax and sit and picnic too! read more
