Their billing practices are extremely poor. I am a family member of a firefighter from a local district, who had a straightforward billing agreement set up with MCC. However, we'd still receive past due bills on treatments already paid for, or in the incorrect amount, sometimes many months after treatment. It got so bad that I requested the absolute last bill they had on record for me, so I could pay out of pocket quickly and close my account. And now over a year after last correspondence, I have received a collections notice for a bill MCC billing says they sent me notices about, but I have not seen any such notices. They may have sent them to the wrong address, as this collections notice had my incorrect info on it. At this point, it's feeling like harassment. If they can't even take care of their local fire families, they likely won't take care of you either.

On my initial visit, I walked in the was barely greeted and was given an attitude as though she was being terribly bothered by walking in the door. There was no smile and no warm greeting whatsoever. It is a reminder that when people walk into a chiropractic office it is because they are in critical pain and they should be greeted with a warm smile and compassion. She has none... Then as I was getting ready to leave she informed me that their office is out of network for my insurance and that I owed them $95! In the initial paperwork, they asked for insurance information and if the insurance is out of network or is not covered then it has been my experience in offices that the patient is informed as a courtesy. I called the office this morning and immediately she was on the defensive and said that she does not call the patient to let them know that information that it is the responsibility of the patient to know everything before they walk in the door... Part of that may be true, but my insurance covers chiropractic... It would've been a great courtesy if they had let me know they we out of network and I could've made other arrangements to find someone in network. This was a referral that I was given to go to this office, and she, Lucy, is ruining any possibility of new clients for this office. I would not recommend anyone to go to that office just because of her and the doctor would do well to address the situation and make necessary changes if he feels his business would benefit from it. I know one thing... I will never go back to that office again no matter how much he may have helped me someone like her can make all the pain come back again in an inadvertent way!

Tom Dutcher is as good as it gets when it comes to Chiropractic care…read more I started seeing Tom around 2005 after a major snowboarding accident. With four bulging discs C4-7, I was in fear on of herniating. I literally felt numbing in my fingers. I went three days a week for a period of time and some physical therapy. I believe in the healing that Tom provides. He is very spiritual in how he educated you about what he is doing and how the body reacts to movement and treatment. He doesn't force an adjustment. He is methodical. Needless to say, I've recovered fully. I didn't need to have any fusion. I see Tom periodically as needed. Lately it's been maybe four times per year, if that. And I travel over an hour one way to see him now that I've moved away from Portland. I refuse to see anyone else. Thanks Tom. You are the Superman of Chiropractors. And a stand up human being. Being a large man and my previous Dr a smaller female helped as I am a full figured guy. Where my previous Dr lacked the strength and ability to adjust my displaced parts back into alignment, Dr Rhue made short work of it. While being forceful also not so much as to cause pain or discomfort. Just the right balance to help me experience a less painful daily routine.
