DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! I visited the store today in response to their mailer seeking jewelry to purchase and have never been treated so rudely in my entire life in any establishment. I was in the store for mere minutes and was completely insulted by two unrefined, tactless saleswomen. I brought diamond earrings and a pearl necklace to see if they might be interested in purchasing them, and I was scoffed at for the small amount of jewelry I brought. I was told they couldn't possibly take just these few items. I couldn't care less whether they wanted to buy the items or not, but the rudeness was unbelievable. The real kicker came when they were reviewing the diamond earrings to see if they might take them, and the second saleswoman snarkily said, "If they're even real...." They are, in fact, 100% real and of excellent quality, and I am happily selling them at another jewelry store that treats customers with kindness and respect. I am aghast at this kind of treatment, especially during the holidays. Why even bother sending out a mailer requesting jewelry if this is how you're going to treat people? I will never step foot in this place again and have told everyone I know what an incredibly rude and awful experience this was. read more

Been here a number of times for jewelry and sizing watches. The sales staff is friendly and helpful. My complaint is with the amateur watchmaker they employ. I took a new watch to get sized and he stripped the screws and couldn't remove the links. He is incompetent and uses crude tools. Safe to say I will not be back. read more

I've been taking my expensive Omega watch to Maurice's jewelers for a long time for battery changes (yearly), Price was never consistent; it changed every time. Last time for battery change, jeweler said watch would not accept new battery, needing a complete overhaul. I took watch directly to Omega, and was told the battery's used by Maurice's were substandard battery's that leaked causing damage, requiring a major $500.00+ overhaul...Very disappointed, I overestimated Maurice's...Expensive lesson learned. read more

I just took a brand new Michele watch to be sized and received it back with the face scratched. i am livid and surprised that such a "prestigious" jewelry store is unable to maintain the quality of pieces by placing/working on a fabric or cushion surface so the items are not damaged. this is the last time I use Maurice's. read more

The same small necklace here was 25% more expensive than at expensive Miami jewelers. The staff and the store are both extremely classy, professional, and friendly. My fiancé and I have been to countless other jewelry stores with dirty carpets and pushy salespeople, so it was a huge relief to finally shop here. The moment we walked through the front door we were greeted and treated as valuable customers, even though I was wearing a paint-stained t-shirt and jersey shorts - they didn't judge me as someone not worth talking to (like I have been treated in the past by salespeople). They were kind and thoughtful in helping us select the perfect wedding bands. Our wedding bands were $500 total (for both), which is the same price as the same wedding band that we tried on at a competitor. When I walked into Maurice's, it looked so nice that I thought everything would be out of our price range; I was wrong. They engraved our rings for free! What!? Free? Yes! Free. We decided to visit their new location a week ago and we were extremely happy with the service we received from everyone, but most especially from Zarah, Sasha and Jose. They helped me to pick out a stunning diamond band to complete my solitaire and wedding band. I felt that were my family helping me out. This place is such a rip off! They try to say they're having chain sales for 30% off on Facebook and that's not even the normal price after the 30%off. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Huge waste of time. Woman that helped me didn't know anything. I was trying to buy a chain that weighed 24 grams and they said with the discount it was $3500 I had a chain weight 20.7 grams as a trade in and they said they would only give me $450 for the chain. It was the same type of gold. How does that make sense. Had me waiting there for 30 min for them to try to steal my chain away for 450. I bought that chain which is it Italian 14k gold for more than $450 20 years ago. Gold has gone way up after that. These people are crooks read more

So when the opal fell out of one of my rings, I took it here to get repaired. Opals are extremely sensitive and you need to trust your jeweler. Huge disappointment! After shopping here for nearly thirty years, I was shocked by what seemed like a"bait and switch" at Maurices today. I had left a piece of jewelry for repair and had a detailed written estimate with an amount that I agreed to, although it seemed rather high. I was assured that the work would be completed within four days but on that day, I was called and told the cost would be over 20% higher for this uncomplicated job. I explained that this was not fair, but Maurices wouldn't budge. I learned then that no work had been done during the days they had my jewelry so I had to go in and pick it up, still unrepaired. The moment I walk in my jewelry is removed and steamed (for free) AND they make sure to count every single little peace of jewelry (including charms) in front of you prior to taking it to the back for cleaning.
