    Hours of operation. Phone. Address.
    Honestly A.

I have never had any issues going here and always gotten my appointment done in a timely manner. It is always PACKED so I suggest either getting there early or setting up an appointment. An appointment is usually the best way to go. My only complaint is that it's a little unorganized when you arrive. There is usually one long line instead of separate lines for arrivals and appointments. In my case that's how it was the last time I went. People who had appointments were cutting the entire line and walking up to the front desk with their appointment confirmation and made a lot of others mad until front desk confirmed that's what appointments were for. Hopefully they changed this and made the checking in process a little smoother for everyone waiting. A sign or something, anything would help. We don't need people arguing/fighting at the DMV y'all!

I'm officially a Tennesseean and just in time to vote!

This was the best DMV experience I've ever had. Everyone was extremely kind and the wait time was short.

I felt like I was being treated unfairly and looked down on. The environment was uncomfortable, and some employees showed discriminatory behavior that felt racist. No one should be treated that way while simply trying to complete DMV services. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that changes are made to improve the way customers are treated.

Recently moved to TN and needed to get a new DL. If you need a DL please, please make sure you have…read morethe documents you need. I needed my old DL and 2 proofs of residency and be ready to make a payment for your DL as well as ready to take a picture. I came in the day before to find out what I needed in order to be proactive. The following day I came without an appt at 8:45 am and it was already packed so remember get there early. Appts didn't seem to make a difference because the two people that sat next to me had appts and were not seen until 2 hours after their appt time. So get there before they open is what I advise. Take a book, charged phone or work items to work on because you will be there a while. To give context I finished a book while waiting. Yes, a whole novel was completed in addition to chatting with people I sat next to. Came in at 8:45 and left at 3pm. Spent so long there that the people I sat with instantly bonded and started clapping for each other each time one of us finally got called up to claim the golden ticket of finally being able to be helped and leave. Be ready to be there the whole day and remember to park in the designated areas as the back parking lot belongs to another business and you will be towed. The customer service was kind and helpful but more staff would be great to service the amount of people that are coming each day. So moral of all of this is: 1. Get there early 2. Eat breakfast and pack a lunch 3. Bring something to keep you busy 4. Bring all the correct documents so you don't have to waste another day.

I arrived around 11:14 a.m. and didn't leave until 3:50 p.m. The initial hour wait was expected and wasn't the issue. Once I was called, I found out I was given the wrong ticket, processed for the wrong credential, and had my last name misspelled despite the correct spelling being on my Georgia license and every document I provided. After catching the mistakes myself, I spent more than three additional hours waiting for them to be corrected while new customers continued being helped. Eventually, a supervisor had to step in because the employee couldn't fix the issue, and even then it took multiple attempts. I understand waiting at the DMV, but over four and a half hours because of preventable employee errors is completely different. When you're handling someone's legal identification, basic accuracy and attention to detail should not be too much to ask. The unsanitary facility didn't make the experience any better. The waiting area smelled strongly of body odor, the seats had questionable stains all over them, and the bathrooms looked like what I imagine a jail bathroom would look like. I also watched a Spanish-speaking woman struggle to communicate while the employee assisting her became increasingly frustrated with the poor woman, who had no one there to help her. Instead of trying to find someone who could assist, the employee just kept repeating the same thing over and over in a more annoyed tone each time. Another Spanish-speaking man was having a similar experience. I finally took it upon myself to go into the waiting room and find someone who could help. Go figure, I was able to flag down two Spanish-speaking employees who could assist them, meaning help was available the entire time. The other employees could have easily done the same instead of repeatedly speaking to customers with language barriers in an increasingly frustrated and condescending manner. Watching employees continue to repeat themselves as though these customers simply weren't understanding, rather than finding the Spanish-speaking assistance that was readily available, was extremely disappointing. For a government facility serving the public, there should be far more patience, professionalism, and effort to make sure everyone can access the services they came there for. A government facility serving the public should be clean, organized, professional, and prepared to assist people facing language barriers with patience and respect. This location needs serious improvement in employee training, customer service, cleanliness, and attention to detail!
