This is the worse place to work. I started a job here in a month i was pulled into the office and written up for a mistake of the manager to make herself look better. Im qn adult and i was treated as a slave in Twin Falls Idaho also disrespected by fellow employees. I would never recommend anyone get a job on the Blue Lakes location. Yeah, went to the location on 1300 S. Main St. Salt Lake City, UT, this morning and their beer selection was crap. Made a casual comment to who I know is the store manager, short dark haired lady. "Hope you get in a shipment today or you'll have a lot of disappointed people." Snide remark, "Don't tell me how to do my job, I probably have more in the back I just haven't had time." Okay, if you are good at what you do then learn how to have stuff ready in the morning. Give me lip one more time and I'll tell you to F off and you won't be store manager much longer. Awful, horrible customer NO-Service department. I've had some issues with their "Nitro" card they offer for discounts on gas. With nearly a dozen emails and 2 phone calls trying to clear it up I have gotten absolutely no where. At least half the time they don't even bother responding to your emails. Don't ever get a Nitro card with them, the fraudulent charges are a nightmare and you'll never get any help from them straitening out your account. 4 reviews and not one above 1 star :( It's to bad their corporate is ruining their retail reputation. read more

I spend close to 200 a week at maverick stores I am an uber driver so I buy all my gas from here and snacks and drinks. I am disappointed at the 500 south location. their bathroom is always blocked off. if you don't want your paying customers to use your bathrooms get them out of your stores. there is a couple locations that block the bathrooms after dark again you don't want your customers to use your restrooms get them out. a very dissatisfied customer read more

I was in the Scottsbluff, Ne. store 01/02/2019. My card some how fell out of my wallet. I called the store as within and hour and a half to ask about my card. Was told yes they had found it, and that they would hold onto it in a "safe"place unroll I could get back over to pick it up. Picked it up early today 01/04/2019. After checking my bank account on line I found that it had been used to order a product from a Wyo company. I then call the store to report to them .they told me nobody at "Their" location would do anything like that. And they were just rude and not helpful at all. It was like they thought it was all my fault because I had dropped my card there. Very unprofessional. I've worked C-Stores and we always put the card in the safe in the office. But at this location I guess it was a shopping spree with no consequences for stealing. So be aware they are not honest. read more

It is a shame that paying customers can't use the restroom at the location across from the baseball field in salt lake city Utah. I have kidney problems and have gone in to get a drink and some food on at least 2 occasions and needed to use the restroom and was told no public restrooms. (These times were months apart) now I am going to have to put some kind of reminder in my car not to go to this location again. (I understand if I was there every day/multiple times a day , but that's not the case. The maverik close to my home allows it with no problem. I buy gas, drinks and food 3-6 times a week from there. I went to my local Maverik in Cortez ,Co refilled my large drink and was told it cost more for my refill than for a new drink in another container ,what kind of eco backasswardness is this ,if you look on their cups it even says something about refilling and ecoresponsibility with a little green symbol on it .These folks are posers when it comes to an environmental responsibility and maybe they need to be boycotted by those of us who choose to conserve and have a more responsible outlook on saving the earth ,pass it on!!!!! read more

I just found a bolt in the bottom of my ice water from the Maverick off the springville Utah exit!

This is a zero star review. I went inside the convenient store on Christmas eve to pre-pay for gas & the 1st clerk didn't even acknowledge my entrance to the store because She was on her phone. She didn't get off her phone to attend to me. It was obviously a personal phone call. I went back in to get my change from filing up & the 2nd clerk was also on his phone. I stood at the counter and waited until I had to speak up and say "Hey, excuse me, may I get my change?" Very rudely he responded, "Yeah, you can come over here". I replied "Is it normal that employees are always on the phone? He responded "Well you could speak up". I replied. "I shouldn't have to. And you shouldn't be on your phone". He then told me to take my business elsewhere & that's exactly what I will do from now on. There were also 2 customers that walked in without masks during my visit and weren't told a word even though our state is a code red and under a strict mask required government order. Maverick Gas station is new in our town & I will not be giving them any of our business & I recommend if you want good service. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My husband and I went to our local Maverik store in Pahrump, Nevada and got the worst customer service. We used to live in Utah and loved your stores, so when they opened this one, we were happy. But today, not so good. We and 4 other people wanted to get Bahama Mamas and the buns were hard as rocks ( you could'nt even get them open to put anything in them) and I asked if they could put some fresher ones out and was told they were just fine just a little hard around the ends!! This store is always out of something major. No straws, no yogurt, no lids it's always something. I am in the retail business so I know what customer service is supposed to be like and this store is lacking in that area. I am really disappointed in the service at this store. yes I am the nibley coke icee girl and I buy more than 8 a week I went in to our store and pruchased 4 of them came home .I like to freeze them so I did ... Later on that night I went to get one out and eat it and it was terible .It smelled and tasted like gas , so 4 icess down the drain now what am I to drink ?? well I went in on Monday and notified them of there problem and they tasted it and it was not right ..So I ask If I get a refund well the guy ignored me I was not to happy with that ..I think I saved them from a lot of other people to get sick. well thats what I have to say..I will go in on friday again and see if they fixed the problem.. sincerley debbie read more
