I've been here a number of times over the past three years and have yet to have any complaints. The store is always well stocked and clean. Staff is attentive. Have no complaints. Coffee is delicious, the Colombian is my favorite! and for like $2 for good coffee? Can't beat that. Burritos are a delicious grab and go option! My favorite is the MOAB (Mother of all burritos) filled with Sasauge, ham, potatoes and possible more but that's all I can recall currently. When the MOAB is sold out, I usually grab the steak burrito. I'm not a huge fan of the seasoning, but it's a good second best to the MOAB. Make sure you sign up for the rewards program if you're buying from them. You get Cents off gas and can redeem for in store things. I've waited a few years before I wrote this review. But why? I come here quite often. To fill up my truck and motorbikes, all year long. Alas, I have not until now. Maverik has a lot of pumps and unless you arrive in the midst of rush hour, chances are you will find a pump that is available for use. NOTE: This station does not carry clear gas (blue), but they do carry diesel. I've only gone inside a few times. This station, like the other Maverik's keep their restrooms clean. That is a big plus in my book. A well stocked store from food items to drinks. Junk foods to items that aren't too junkie. They have it a lot to offer. Their pumps are kept in good repair. And this location has easy access! If your on 395 north or southbound, get off at N. Virginia street (by Panther Valley). The first light you come to is Virginia and Virginia. Make a left. You can't miss it. If you're on Virginia street headed northbound, you will want to turn right at the last light on N. Virginia street. It's very visible from Virginia street! The fuel prices are very competitive and if you use their loyalty card, you will save 2 cents/gallon. If you want to tie your debit card to their Nitro card you will save 6 cents per gallon! ---------------- Bottom Line Yes, I will be coming back to Maverik. Love Maverik and was very glad to see this location open up. It is very conveniently located near the 395 on/offramp and the intersection with North Virginia Street. We stop here very often to fill up and as of yet it's never terribly crowded at the pumps. The price of gas is always reasonable and if you have their "Adventure" card, you can receive a discount of 2 cents per gallon on gas which makes it an even better deal. The convenience store is well organized, well stocked and staffed by friendly and helpful employees. Great coffee for getting you going in the morning! I don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review of this place. I have been frequented this location since they opened a couple years ago. The employees are always friendly, the selection is great. One of the few places that has caffeine-free diet coke in their fountain. They used to have caffeine free diet pepsi, too. I recommend getting their Adventure Club card. It allows you to earn points and works like a punch card. Punches are automatically tracked so you don't have to worry about carrying around a bunch of cards. If you go with the Nitro card you get a minimum of $0.06 off per gallon and they match the lowest price in the area. I have frequently received 8-11 cents off per gallon and sometimes more. I like this because I don't have to shop around for the best price in the area. The Nitro card connects to your bank account so you can pay with the card by swiping it and entering your pin. My son loves their breakfast bundles and breakfast burritos. I love their sandwiches and coffee/cappuccino selections. I also REALLY like their tire air machine. Just select the pressure you want your tires filled to, then attach the hose to your tire and it shuts off automatically when your tire is filled appropriately. Horrible. There is a man who works here who is much older and refuses to let me buy alcohol even though I am 22 and have all proper documentation. I've never had this problem anywhere else but here with this man. The first time he noticed my license was expired. I explained to him that I was waiting for my new one to come in the mail and had documentation on my phone to prove it. He didn't care and told me to get lost. 2nd time I came in with my license and an officially stamped dmv temporary license that is legally a proper form of id and can be used while I was waiting for my new license... Still didn't serve me, making me go out of my way. I'm a local, I live up the street on beacon dr as I continue my studies as a student at UNR. I used to go to mavericks 2-3 times a week to buy anything you could name. I will not step foot or give anymore business to this location because of this stubborn pos. Don't want my business? Fine! I think the employees here are really nice. The inside of the store is really clean and has a surprising variety. The gases prices are always competitive for this area. Only complaints would be that sometimes the gas sprays out of the pumps for no reason so that's pretty unfortunate when you're wearing your work clothes. It can be a little rough pulling into this place. Also the free air thing is often broken, but it's free so... well you get what you pay for. First of all, I can't stand Yelp. But I'll tell ya what, Maverik alone deserves a review that the world can see. This place is the savior of my late nights when I'm craving the world's best milkshake or a clean gas station. They have not let me down once. I had an issue with an over charge and did not have a receipt for proof so I did not think anything could be done. I called and talked to their morning manager and told her the situation and she was more than helpful. She was understanding and apologetic and completely helpful. She set the money aside with the night manager for when I was off work and everything was resolved quickly and efficient. Very impressed. read more

I'm a transplant from OC and I love this place and they have decent prices on gas and munchies. They actually have some good food rather than just the token Spicy Bites, Rollers, and Nacho's at 7-11. Most weekends they do some kind of deal on food or have a BBQ or something like that. They also have a Redbox outside. If I was Jay or Silent Bob I would definitely hang out in front! read more

Gas pumps and windshield cleaner at pumps not maintained. I pulled up to the pump got out to pump gas. And swiped be my card then I noticed a small note credit card equipment not working must pay inside. Why not a larger sign . So I moved to another pump. This one works. Couldn't not clean my windows no windshield cleaner at any of the pumps dry as a bone. Not the first time at this station. I try to buy gas else where but occasionally I'm low on fuel when in this area. read more

They are in a convenient location, and the food is decent for the most part. Cashiers here usually say that they've "already scanned everything" when I remember to present their Adventure Club card. After about the third go of the same I gave up on the club points completely. The most memorable visit to this location will go down as legendary in my eyes, because this is the place I had a lady cashier yell at me. "You aren't going to drink all those TODAY are you?!" She startled me a little after I set six Diet Mountain Dew bottles on the counter. I gotta say, that left me kinda speechless. I remember looking back at the fountain drinks boasting "64-oz daily sodas" and seeing at least one other customer with a gigantic soda thinking: "isn't 64 fl. oz fountain drink like a half gallon of soda in one serving?" After I paid for the items and was exiting the store, I swore I heard "Oh my god! You're not gonna BELIEVE this!" as the door swung shut. I purchased Maverick beef jerky peppered and the natural one and broke my tooth really bad. I spoke with them and they suggested giving me a gift card, I thought that was ridiculous. I suggest that the damn that they call the company that makes the product and see if there was any other issues with other customers about this. I frequent this place more then I should to grab a tasty treat while pumping gas. Pumps are always available, always working and the staff inside are friendly. While this is a small thing it's rather nice to have a reasonable interaction with someone at a gas station. Really beats the experiences elsewhere. You know the one where it looks like you're giving your card to a zombie who grunts at you? Booze, treats and goodies inside is a nice collection and all reasonably priced. I do wish it was a more consistent price on 91oc gas. Their regular price is killer, which draws me in and then they get me with the more then 20c over regular price other places charge. If they show 3.36 for regular I'm expecting premium for 3.56 not 3.71. That's my only gripe and one of my cars needs premium. Keep up the great work guys! read more

I use to go to this Maverik every day for coffee for the last year, I was even driving slightly out of my way on my drive to work in the morning just to stop here for coffee. Not because the Coffee is the best in the world, but the people who work here are! Every single employee is super friendly and always gave exceptional service even though it was super early and I'm sure they were tired! I ended up moving further away and unfortunately too far out of my way to stop there in the morning, I sure do miss you all! You guys were awesome. read more
