Placed a quick call over to Mavis Tire, Manager calmed me down and reassured me; - Scheduled me for a 3:30 Emergency Appointment; - Very impressed with the Call Back I received - Confirming my appointment. I arrived @ Mavis; - The facility was clean, organized and easy to maneuver around. I was very impressed at how clean and comfortable the waiting room was. There was virtually not wait; Gentleman took my care and I was able to view through the glass a group of mechanics personally and carefully assessing the integrity of my tires. Workers worked carefully, safely and efficiently. Turned out, I was OK - I was "Taken Care of" by Boyd and Robert - They were extremely honest, compassionate and kind and would not take a Nickle or a Dime from me. Boyd & Robert reassured me, send me on my way and explained an appropriate course of action - in the even the issue returned. I was truly amazed at how carefully and extensively they examined my tires. This is why I trust Mavis and will likely return again - when the time comes for me to replace my tires. We trust them more than any other place in town because they are always telling us exactly what we need, to the point, and charge us reasonably for quality service. As much as we drive, it feels like we need new oil or tires every other month, so we are glad for a place that we can trust and their quick service. Update: a friend wanted the vehicle to see if he could get it running in his spare time. A few…read moremonths later, he told me that I wouldn't believe what he found. He stated that he found three of the fuel injectors that weren't reconnected when Central Automotive was messing with the vehicle.. Once he reconnected the fuel injectors, the vehicle ran fine. So, basically we were out of vehicle due to the incompetence of this facility. If Tom, at Central Automotive, would have just checked his work, they should have found that and I would still have the vehicle today. Instead, I had to purchase another vehicle, which I did not want to do at the time. Update 2: Spoke with Tom today and his excuse for his lies about the vehicle not having oil in it was that he misspoke because according to the record he has it did have oil in it. His excuse for not reconnecting the 3 fuel injectors was because "we are human and humans make mistakes". But, honest, ethical humans would check their work to make sure they had not made a mistake when asked to do so. Which he would not. And, they would not suggest that I trade a vehicle that they knew had issues. He asked what I wanted from him. I said to sincerely apologize and consider at least a partial refund. He said that he fixed my vehicle (he made it worse) and I already gave him a bad review. So that was not an option. Very dishonest, unethical person!!!!
