Made an appointment for 8am for an inspection. After two hours and 30 minutes of waiting I decided I would take my car somewhere else.

I've came in for a flat repair and a multipoint inspection, there was nobody at the desk waiting to service me and the old guy with the glasses was sitting in the office for approximately 10 minutes before he noticed that I was there waiting for him. After 1 hour and 30 mins I was finally out of there, props to the technician with the blonde hair who worked on my car, she was precise with her work but however the service advisor didn't even try to sell me any work or let me know what I needed with my car. I know it has an oil leak and valve cover gasket, I was hoping he would present it with a price but didn't along with other safety/concerns Firestone, instead of hiring a glorified cashier hire someone who will sell the technicians work and let the customer know if their car is safe or not read more

Came in because it was hard to turn my steering wheel. Firestone did an inspection and stated that I just needed my hose changed because it had a leak. After they did the work that came and stated that my power steering needed replacing. Mind you two yrs ago they replaced my power steering my original power steering went for 186,000 the one Firestone put on only made it around 16,000 miles. Firestone is using cheap parts and they do not stand behind their work. If you need major repairs please choose another company, I had to learn the hard way . They offered discounts , rebates or anything other than stating " well all I can say is this is what's needed and I'm not sure if it will fix the problem or not". read more

Trailering my horses from GA to MD and 2 of our trailer tires were about to burst. Loves truck stop recommended george over here at firestones and he was more than willing to change all 4 tires while our horses were in the trailer! Facing a completely drained car battery four hundred miles from home, and on a Sunday no less, we were resigned to a painful experience, but George, Phil, and the rest of the Firestone team got us back on the road. Though they could have just replaced the battery and sent us on our way, they wanted to do a more thorough inspection to see what caused the battery drain, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg for the check. They were fast, polite, and even laughed at my jokes. They knew we'd probably never be back in town again, but we still got good service at a fair price. read more

My water pump broke on the highway and luckily was able to roll my car into this shop. The service manager Jack Terrell was clear, transparent, and accommodating to my situation. diagnosed the problem and had a quick turnaround in repair. Even let me leave the car for a couple days before I could travel back to get it. Probably my best experience at any auto shop. Highly recommend them. I was worried that they wouldn't be open on a Sunday, but they were! I had scheduled an appointment on line but the brake technicians were not there when I arrived. The manager still took the time to come outside with me to my vehicle and look to see what the problem was. He filled my brake fluid and set me up for the next day giving me careful guideline instructions for my safety until my return. The customer service was above and beyond. I dropped. the vehicle off, got an invoice promptly and a phone call early the next morning. The whole issue was solved with superb communication and service. Let me just say this is the BEST Firestone location that I have been to. I started out at the concord location, came in with complaints of my vehicle jerking when accelerating. They did a full engine diagnostic & was told all I needed was a tune up. After the tune up, I was still feeling the jerking but it started shaking on top of that. I didn't want to drive my car very far so I took it to this location. I walked in & was greeted by George. He listened to everything I had to say & assured me he would do his best to have me back on the road that same day. Within a few hours, George calls me to let me know it's just a coil pack & he can have it fixed no problem. ON TOP OF THAT he was able to give me a discount & it was significantly cheaper than what it was going to originally cost me. Having my car fixed has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders & It's all thanks to George!!! read more

Phil and his staff make Firestone the kind of tire and automotive repair place everyone needs to have around. After I ran over a nail after hours one evening, Firestone was recommended by a friend. Phil helped arrange delivery of my vehicle from the towing service, ordered the replacement tire early the next morning, and had it at the shop and installed by mid-afternoon. He even found me a discount. He is honest, courteous, and straightforward. He doesn't sugar coat and he doesn't upsell. He's been good to my friend over the years, and l plan to be a returning customer as well. His staff were polite and knowledgeable, too. read more

I've been a customer if this Firestone since 2001. Last year I had four new tires put on. Less than a year later... Today I was told that I need to replace my tires... I said to them in the 20 years that I have been with fire stone I've never had to replace tires after just one year. I told them that I am very persistent in my tire rotation... And that most of my tires last between two and three years.... They were only 30,000 miles on this particular tire. The people at fire stone said well certain cars have a different wear and tear on tires. How deceptive of a practice. I will never go back to this fire stone. All three of the gentleman that worked there were very rude, disrespectful, and aloof. read more

I have been bringing my car to this location for nearly 5 years and I would like to say I have experienced the worst customer service today from a man named "Hector," who stated he was the new manager of the business. I called in to schedule an appointment to get my 2000 Honda Accord checked out because it is having slight trouble, and he interrupted me and TOLD me to take my car to a dealership. I politely told him that I would rather take my car to this location as I have did in the past. He refused to schedule me an appointment, hung up on my face and told me I was harassing the business by calling back to schedule an appointment for my car. After I called back the 4th time after he continued to hang up on my face I finally recorded him and his unprofessionalism, which is the only way I received an appointment. I asked to speak with someone else there and he stated no one else was working, he was the only person there, and that he TOLD me to take my car to a dealership and that he was busy. I am definitely calling corporate on this situation because this is beyond disgraceful. read more

bought my car in to have the AC looked at , i had carshield extended warranty which the service department claimed they called but never did i was charged $164 to put freon in the system then told i needed a new compressor but they wouldn't perform the service cause they claimed the cradle bolts were rusted, i only had a day to have it fixed cause i had to return to New Jersey, they kept my car a whole day and did nothing but charge me $164 for nothing when i drove back to NJ with no AC in 95 degree weather i took my car to a Ammco location told them what firestone said...they told me if they did put any freon in the car it was basically empty soo Firestone took advantage of me , saw a person from out of state with limited time to have the car fixed and just decided to give me the runaround my car was taken care of back in New Jersey wound up paying close to $1900 i'll never use Firestone for anything. read more

I made an appointment early in the morning for 3:30 PM and I got there 15 minutes early. And checked in and took them an hour to even take my car into the garage none of them are working they were all just standing around on the phones. It took them two hours to do a simple oil change and then charged me a outrageous price I got there at 3 and didn't leave until 5:15 for a simple oil change outrageous, poor customer care. Took care of fixing a blown alternator and dead battery on our Chevy Suburban, towed in, 250 miles from home. I left my wife with the car (took the Amtrak train to work Monday morning in Atlanta) and the shop took good care of my wife and the repair. Fair prices. No funny business. read more

I was on the way from Charlotte to Greensboro NC and really needed an oil change. I stopped in @ 7:30 am as they are one of the only places along the way that opened before 8. The employees were extremely friendly and courteous. They got me done in about 30 minutes. Also they had a special of $30 off if you apply for a line of credit (no annual fee) so I got my oil changed for $5. read more

Visiting from California, my girlfriend and I pulled over because we noticed the tire warning light. We spotted the leaking tire, inflated it but we could still hear air leaking from the tire. We decided to go to the nearest Firestone to get the tire repaired. Sherri Legg helped us get the tire fixed but also pointed out that the other tires were in poor condition. Although we lost a few hours on our vacation, my girlfriend and I are grateful to Sherri for getting Hertz to pay for new tires on the car rental. Now that's customer service! read more

Just got tires and an alignment here a few weeks ago. As far as price goes, their tires may be more expensive than Discount Tire or Wal-Mart, Sam's, etc. but in the end, they were cheaper. Discount Tire had a similar tire for about $10 a tire less but they were going to charge me $15 a tire to install the tires, then another $15 for road hazard. Wal- Mart's price was within a few dollars a tire and the same for Sam's, but after install and the road hazard Firestone was actually the cheapest! All for a quality passenger tire with at least a 65,000 miles warranty. Firestone also has free rotations for the life of your tire. Also, they gave me a discount on the road hazard, so it saved me about $20 overall. Now when it came time for my alignment, it was $70 for one time, or they had a special for $130 for a lifetime alignment. I went with the lifetime one. I gave them my car at 9 am and told them I needed it by 12, they called at 11 and said it was ready for me to pick up anytime. I was shown a "report" on my alignment pre and post the work they did. And I honestly feel a difference in the handling. So, all in all a pretty good experience at this Firestone. read more

I came in for a inspection for my Honda Accord. The man up front was professional. However, after getting the car back after inspection the interior smelled like an ashtray. It took me a three of days of riding with the windows down to get the smell out. This was obviously more than cigarette smell on a person's clothes. The mechanic(s) also left grease spots on the head liner and driver side sun visor. Avoid this place if you don't like people smoking in your car and grease stains in your interior. read more
