New customer for life! Max Electrical Services is a top-notch customer-centric company run by Darin Maxwell. These guys squeezed me into their busy schedule because a light switch that blew out also took out our gas stove & microwave. They got to me within 24 hours. They showed up on time and quickly replaced the switch. They also found a faulty plug that was arcing and was the root cause of the switch blowing out. This could have also caused a fire! This plug was installed in the microwave vent and they had to create a custom solution. They did all this for less than most companies quoted me just to come out. I had several electrical issues, but the most important was a broken breaker switch controlling the circuit to the hot water heater. Darin was thoughtful enough to adjust his schedule so that he could solve this problem the same day so that we could once again have hot water in the house. Saturday morning. New house. To do list underway... While hanging some hooks in the entryway I drilled into a live wire. SPARK! Lights off. After cursing myself a bit I decide to call our builder's electrician. Thankfully, they were closed and I got their voicemail. I went to Yelp for reviews and found that our builder's electrician didn't have great reviews. I decided to search "Open Today" as a long shot. SO glad I did! Max Electric Service was OPEN and they have stellar reviews! I called and reached Darin, the owner. He said that he was on a job at the moment, but could make it out that afternoon. Same day! Things are looking up! Darin called later on to let us know he was on the way. He was able to fix the damaged wiring quickly and the charge was very reasonable. No emergency or weekend charges, just fair pricing from a nice guy who had us up and running again in about 30 minutes. We were super pleased with Darin and even asked him to quote another job while he was there. He did a pre-sight inspection which really helped a lot and set me at ease with the work that needed to be done.
