The Junior stadium sounds fun but it has no close snack bar and has two porter potties. It was rough to be on that side. Parking is parking!!! Lol there's alot but also alot of us. Carpool if possible. Its basically get in where you fit even if its on grass islands. Lol There was parking across the street but did hear after you can't park there. Buy your entry beforehand and show to get in. Keep your bags compact to not get searched or request a medical cooler tag to take in extra stuff. There is plenty of food and snacks options. Drinks are at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and continously cleaning the restrooms. I seen pop up booths for bats,gloves,posters, mini bobbleheads of your players. Kona ice, pineapple spot, Chinese food. The fields were well kept and can handle alot of rain so unless there's lightning games are on. They'll play til 2am to makeup any games affected by weather. We had about 5 lightning delays followed by buckets of rain. There's a lightning tracker and it will let you know when its safe to return. During this time everything closes and everyone is told to take cover!

It was created through a unique partnership among Brevard County Natural Resources Watershed Management, Eastern Florida State College, the City of Titusville, the St. Johns River Water Management District, and Parrish Medical Center. Within the park is a series of interconnected lakes designed as a stormwater treatment system that cleans runoff from both Titusville and unincorporated Brevard County before it enters the Indian River Lagoon. Wetland vegetation naturally filters pollutants from the water, improving its quality before it returns to the environment. Without this treatment, stormwater runoff can contribute to algal blooms, muck accumulation, fish kills, and other ecological problems that threaten the lagoon's health. Beyond its environmental benefits, the restored wetlands provide valuable habitat for wildlife, particularly Florida's wading birds, while offering visitors opportunities for nature observation and outdoor recreation. The park contains a variety of habitats, including artificial lakes, freshwater wetlands, salt marshes, mangrove communities, and hardwood and sabal palm hammocks. Visitors can explore approximately three miles of paved trails, including a scenic 2.6-mile loop for walking, running, and cycling. Additional amenities include a five-story wildlife observation tower offering a stunning view of the wetlands, athletic fields, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and access to the surrounding trail network. The park is an official stop on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, a statewide network of more than 500 premier wildlife-viewing sites. It is well known for its abundant wildlife, and visitors can expect to see Ospreys, herons, egrets, turtles, and alligators, one reason swimming is prohibited in the lakes. During my visit, I spotted Black Vultures, a Great Blue Heron, and a Great Egret. Other species frequently seen here include Wood Storks, Glossy Ibises, Cattle Egrets, Mottled Ducks, Laughing Gulls, and Forster's Terns. Roseate Spoonbills make occasional appearances, along with Bald Eagles while ospreys are common throughout the park. During migration along the hammock trails you may find songbirds such as Prairie Warblers in spring and fall, or Painted Buntings during the winter months. The park also hosts the annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival, one of the largest birding festivals in the country. Cyclists will appreciate that the park serves as a trailhead for both the Brevard Coast-to-Coast Trail and the East Coast Greenway, providing miles of additional scenic riding along the corridor that parallels US 1. Chain of Lakes Park demonstrates how wetlands can improve water quality, support wildlife, and help protect one of Florida's most valuable ecosystems while also making a great recreational space for wildlife photography, walking, cycling, and play in a beautiful natural setting.

This park is named for Anthony William Young (1866-1948). He was the first mayor of Vero Beach,…read moreFlorida, when the city was incorporated as Vero (the Beach was added to the name 6 years later) on June 12, 1919. He was also the fifth mayor from December 10, 1935 to December 15, 1937. Young also served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives (1921 to 1925), and as a member of the Florida Senate (1929 to 1931). Young was an official in the Indian River Farms Co. that dug the canals to drain most of what is Vero Beach. He also authored the legislative act creating Indian River County from St. Lucie County. To get to the park you travel through the Vero Isles neighborhood which ends at the park on the Indian River. Pulling into the park there were little marsh rabbits hopping around everywhere. So adorable. Once you enter the park you are surrounded by the gorgeous views of the Indian River and the bridges that carry people over the river. Park amenities include picnic shelters and tables and it even has a restroom. This is a popular spot for fishing, picnicking, or just taking in the vista of the Indian River.

I never seen any wild animals here expect for crazy kids running around. There is a play area for kids. It looks like a pretty cool little fort with a few slides. Not much for a view here but the park is big! This park is an active pokemon nest and Changes up about every two weeks.

This is one of the nicest, well maintained parks I have ever been to…read more The 117 acre park includes two lighted youth softball fields, two Major and two Senior Little League lighted baseball fields, a t-ball field, and two story restroom / concession / meeting buildings. The 16 acres dedicated to youth soccer include two lighted stadium fields, restroom /concession / meeting building and parking. Other park facilities include two lighted outdoor basketball courts, two playgrounds areas, four lighted tennis courts, family and group pavilions, and an 18,000 sq. ft. Community Center with gymnasium, banquet kitchen, large meeting room with divider, 4 small meeting rooms, and two sets of restrooms (one with showers). The Community Center offers all types of classes for people of all ages.

All in all, I will give this park three stars. It is nothing special, however, if you were into sports, the sporting fields work pretty nice. It also looks relatively well maintained.

Little kids playground has wooden mulch. Big kids playground has rubberized mulch. Sports fields: at least three softball or baseball fields and a couple of tennis courts. Bathrooms right next to small parking lot. Swings: big kids swings next to toddler swings on the little kids playground. Big kids swings next to handicap swing on big kids playground. Big pavilion close to Playgrounds. Holds eight picnic tables and has large built-in Grill. Small beach volleyball court. Lots of field space to run in. Playgrounds located away from the road. Most of the Sports fields are located near the street. A few are located far from the street on the other side of the playground.
