In fact they were more than accomodating on several occasions with treating my condition since I couldn't get an appointment with my primary doctor. Again Dr's and staff are great. Now comes the negative part their business/accounting office SUCKS. Prior to seeing the doctor your copay is taken at the reception area. On ALL occasions my co pay was payed prior to me even being called in. I received a bill from a year prior which I had paid. The bill was dated for early 2024 and I went back and noticed that I payed the bill, they had No recollection of receiving payment. This has happended to me TWICE. Fast forward to currently.....received a phone call on a Saturday (9/27/25) from the business office...this is how the conversation went. I answered the phone and she stated her name and asked me my name and date of birth which I gave her she asked me again my name and dob and asked what my address was since she wanted to send me a bill. I asked her what address she had on file and she did not answer me she said I need your address. It was at this point that I indicated to her that I had spoken to a prior representative and had given her an update on my address in August 2025 regarding this mixup on my bill. The prior representative was great and understood, this representative was rude......I proceeded to tell her that I had no intentions of paying this bill on two counts....it had been paid and it had taken them over a year to send me a bill. Take all this into account that after the date of the bill in question I had 3 more visits to this urgent care with no problems regarding my payments or bill expect one other time again which was later resolved due to their untimely updating my account. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET DOUBLE RECEPITS AS THEIR BUSINESS OFFICE IS LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL.

The floor looks like it has not been mopped in months. The staff is lazy, unprofessional and will misdiagnose you but wants you to come back and pay another fee if your symptoms have not improved within 3 days. They give me scam vibes. The nursing staff is probably the reason nursing is not considered a professional anymore because every staff member is sitting on their lazy ass. The staff members work on demon time, rude, act like they hate their job and not friendly at all. 12/5/24, I stand in line at the Pearl River location, alongside the rest of the town, to address a…read moresickness that is brutal. At the counter in front of me, is a cash-patient, who paid $150.00. Upon my turn at the counter, BCBS, according to Fast Pace, requires a $40.00 co-pay, which I paid with a VISA. I pay it, see the doctor, and go on with life. A month later (2025 / new year, new deductible) , I get a charge on that same VISA, from Fast Pace, in the amount of $211.75. In addition, an explanation of benefits statement from BCBS, implying that Fast Pace charged the insurance company well over $500.00. I thought it was $150.00; that was the case with many of the other customers that day, specifically the young lady in front of me. I called the local office, multiple times, no answer. I called Corporate, they instruct me to call Medi-Copy. I did, and instructed them to provide all medical records and the credit card authorization form I signed. I was sent my bill and records, but not the form. Further review states, that Fast Pace is notorious of this. So, it's just beginning. I have a meeting with the local authorities in the morning, I filed a complaint with the BBB earlier, I forwarded all the doc's to my attorney on retainer, and I intend to pursue this matter independently for a spell, just on principle. Never again my friends, and I don't recommend anyone on earth, using such entity. Upon reading reviews of Fast Pace on a nationwide level, this is common. In fact, I haven't found anyone yet with a wonderful description. What they are doing is fraud, and I plan to start the process to resolve it. Wish me luck - JS

I completed an online appointment request and a NOLA Doc nurse promptly contacted my wife by phone early the next morning. An appointment with Dr. Berenson was made for 9:00 AM and he was right on time. He spent approximately 45 minutes speaking with my wife and getting to the root of the problem. Dr. Berenson was calming and at no point did my wife feel rushed. He provided much useful information and he patiently answered every question. He provided two prescriptions for pickup at a nearby pharmacy and even offered to speak to our primary care physician back home if required. Dr. Berenson was comforting and effective during a frightening time far from home. I highly recommend him.

And as a nursing mom, I needed a comfortable and safe place to pump. Unfortunately, it took me almost an hour to find someone who knew where the Lactation Room was or even that it existed. When I finally reached the room, it was perfect! Quiet, calming, and appropriately decorated with thoughtfully selected nursing mom artwork. It had all the essentials, including a refrigerator, comfortable chair, breast pads, and milk storage bags. It can be challenging as a breastfeeding mom, as there aren't many places that truly support this. While society promotes breastfeeding and its benefits, designated spaces needed for moms to comfortably nurse are scarce. Spaces like this, really warm my heart. If you're ever in SMH ask for the house supervisor and they'll direct you to the lactation room. Happy pumping!

I have been a patient at Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH) numerous times since 1973. Throughout the…read moredecades, I have watched the facility grow and expand, including the addition of heart surgery capabilities and a helipad. My stepfather received excellent care during his final days at the hospital, and I have personally received first-rate nursing care during my own procedures and during a hospital stay for pneumonia. Even as the staff has evolved over the years, the quality of care has remained consistently high, and I have found that many residents in the Poplarville and Picayune areas rely on SMH for their medical needs. While I appreciate the quality of care provided, I do have reservations about the hospital joining the Ochsner network; I feel that transitioning from a local facility to part of a large corporate chain slightly diminishes its community-focused identity.
