Then I started going to Budd Lake. The staff there are great. Making appts is so easy and accommodating. I am on my fifth week there. I go three times a week. The place is small and just right. There is everything there to make your recovery go well. The staff really work with you. It is nice because it is a small physical therapy center so there is not a lot of patients there at s time. The staff is supportive and encouraging. I would highly recommend the place for Outpt therapy. Thank you for encouraging me snd helping me get well and stronger!! I had gone to 3 different practices previously and had been satisfied. But in late November 2021, at age 74, I suffered a terrible fall, sustaining a severe leg injury requiring surgery to repair my very badly torn quadriceps tendon, a truly excruciating injury. It wasn't until I had my first visit at North Jersey PT that I realized there could be so very much of a difference from one PT practice to another. These folks are extraordinary medical practitioners! When I had my preliminary exam and assessment with Carol, the owner, I told her I felt like I'd had a visit with an MD! Of course she is a Doctor of PT. But the difference to me was that suddenly the prior experiences I'd had in PT only qualified in my mind as "Good" versus the feeling with Carol was "Okay, now I'm in the Major Leagues!" Most of my appointments have been with Kim and Polixeni, who are also Doctors of PT, and like Carol they also give me the feeling of, "Wow, you're not my Athletic Trainer. You're my DOCTOR!" The other night I said to Polixeni, "Having you work with me isn't just physical therapy it's MetaPhysical. a total mind, body, spirit healing experience." However I went a week ago with a prescription to treat my arm and they said they would call me for an appointment. A week later nothing. They said they were busy well, if you're too busy to take me at least let me know instead letting me suffer with the pain in my arm and keeping my prescription for a week and I have to go and just come in and retrieve it. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! So I came home today called up another place and they were willing to give me an appointment tomorrow, and two more next week. Plus, the receptionist they have today needs an attitude adjustment.

They charged me $20 per visit copay and changed their minds to $30 copay and made me pay for it. They claimed I visited 7 times when it was only 5, forcing me to pay more. They refused to make an appointment for me without insurance approval, causing a huge lapse in therapy, deeming themselves useless, and a big waste of time. To top it all off, the Better Business Bureau at BBB.0rg gives them an F rating. As I skim through some of their reviews, I can see they had the same problem.

I've watched Hackettstown hospital evolve throughout the years from the 1970's until now…read more It's gone downhill. I'm sorry to be the one to point that out . Personally, in the year 2025, Hackettstown hospital is a great place to go to to die. That's about it. I've had several bad experiences with different nurses there. There is an ICU nurse in particular who I am absolutely horrified is involved in patient care at all. Outside of work, she drinks and drives and has a horrible drinking problem. The hospital should be monitoring her for alcohol use on the job. It's negligent that they just allow her to keep caring for patients. I wouldn't send the worst inmates in the state there, unless they were going there to die.
