I have primarily Matt, who is encouraging and explains every exercise in details before proceeding. He's very understanding and listens to my painrelated issues. I was ordered therapy for my shoulder. I called PT Plus prior too service. Confirmed my Insurance with PT Plus, and and scheduled appointments for prescribed therapy. After a six week period, PT Therapy office calls me and says insurance isn't covering my bills. I ask them to call and confirm coverage and find out what the problem was. Denial of coverage for therapy being performed. So I call my insurance and find out that this is true. I cancelled appointments with PT Plus and I scheduled an appointment with my doctor and was fortunate enough to return to work. Unfortunately, PT Plus Hackettstown, NJ tried to bait and switch me into paying a $490 bill after 6 weeks of treatment and any future treatments. Meanwhile, paying all my co-pays as per my deductible after verifying my insurance and having my prescription for such. When trying to work it out with the office, they still insisted I owed them and it would go to collections. Too bad. Bait and switch is illegal. Don't fall victim to them. read more

I had a total knee replacement and had my first 3 weeks of Physical Therapy @ home. I went to Physical Therapy Plus after speaking with my health insurance company re: in network outpatient physical therapy. I was given only 2 names. Not knowing any thing about Physical Therapy Plus, Hackettstown location, I went as it was in network and shortest distance from my home. I was very pleased with my outcome. My PT therapist, Matt was encouraging and explained every exercise prior to doing it. I am very hard on myself, my thoughts were as an RN myself that I should be doing better. I did the exercises there, loved the recumbent bike, and followed through with my exercises at home. A major 1st accomplishment was that I was going down the steps easily, I had to work harder to be able to go up the steps. I did do that after a short period. My surgeon said I was doing very well, and I was doing better and faster then expected. I am very happy with Physical Therapy Plus, everyone was very kind and p!easant. They were very understanding that I had elderly aunt at home and I really needed to schedule my appointments around her needs. I do believe that it is my own responsibility to follow the exercises, that were given to me to be done at home. I did this, and think following my treatment plan assisted in my recovery. I will be having my second knee surgery and hope I will still be able to use Physical Therapy Plus at the Hackettstown location. read more

I can not say enough positive things about the staff and therapists who worked with my schedule to get me in and out of my appointments on time as well as the stellar treatment they provided.
