We highly recommend Jeff and his team for any paving project!! While searching for a contractor, we collected several quotes for our backyard to be paved. Maxon Paving offered us a very reasonable price compared to other competitors including a 1 year warranty. Jeff was very professional on the phone and when coming in person to survey the area. After researching and reading many great reviews, we decided to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, on the day of our project, the forecast predicted rain. Jeff was very flexible in rescheduling for a different time. Jeff and his team arrived promptly in the morning. We confirmed what we wanted for our patio. Him and his team got to working. In less than a day, they removed debris, rocks, and sand with the tractor to level the ground. They installed rebar and were able to cut the bottom step of the stairs and dispose of it for free. Jeff and his team poured mixed cement and gave the patio a clean brushed finish. The process went really smoothly and clean up was very tidy. We are very happy with the result! It was better than what we have pictured. It is worth the investment and we look forward to using our new patio! read more

Jeff and his team added stamped concrete to our backyard. There's also a stamped walkway, not pictured. The left side of the picture is the before image. We replaced the existing concrete and stairs with new concrete and stamped concrete. The job was done to our requested specification. Jeff is very professional and we would definitely use this company again if we had another job. After 10 quotes received, their price was comparable or slightly above price to many of the other quotes, however we felt more confident in Jeff's knowledge and the warranty offered by the company than with other contractors. read more

I hired Maxon Paving recently to demo and remodel my front and back patio. Jeff came out and gave me my free quote. It was not the cheapest quote from the group I got. However, I am so glad that I picked them. This project was riddled with "fun surprises" and issues. Jeff had a good idea and a quick solution to meet my needs and desired end goal. I know if I went with any other contractor the job would not have been finished or would have been left in an unsatisfactory state. I can say with his solutions to the issues. I am left with a better-designed space than I originally came up with or could have hoped for. My back patio looks amazing and my front patio went from a pile of dirt to a much larger usable space with a nice retaining wall. Very happy with Maxon Paving! They put in some concrete stairs and drainage in our courtyard. We compared quotes with others, but felt Maxon edged others out not only with their price but also their professionalism. Jeff showed up on time to give us an estimate. He came prepared and took notes and measurements (it always shocks me when contractors don't do that) and answered all our questions. They came a few months later as scheduled and completed a two day job in one day. They also came back to fix some minor issues with the concrete due to rain. Very happy with our stairs and drain! Jeff and his crew did a great job with patio demo and design. We essentially agreed on a concept and Jeff took it from there with a design that fit our needs. His bid was competitive, and they were able to complete much sooner that expected, due to a late opening in their schedule. He had some suggestions that enhanced the finished product, including concrete stair riser to tall stone stairway, and improved the garden bed and walkway transitions. We encountered an unexpected challenge working around existing pier blocks. Jeff was able to integrate these into the new patio, smoothing and finishing the existing piers to match new as closely as possible. I don't often review contractors, but this company exhibited professionalism and diligence to a level that I feel warrants recognition. I used them to stripe the parking lot of an apartment building, and most paving companies did not give me the time of day as this is not a very large project, the time of year is incredibly busy for them, and the weather was beginning to get inclement. In spite of this Chris, who was my primary point of contact, worked hard to make it work at a fair price. Throughout the process he was honest, communicative, and personable often calling me to ensure I was taken care of. I work for an apartment complex in lower queen anne and we were having issues with moving trucks from another apartment complex across our alley blocking our garage entrance. I contacted Maxon Paving and their bid for some striping with a "no loading" stencil was less than half of what the other company quoted me. Not only that, but the work was done by hand (impressive) and was high quality. It was quick, easy, and they were able to work with my schedule.
