This is my Lulu favorite place to go. I've never seen a park so big. Now, that was a pleasant surprise for Lulu and me last Saturday. We stayed sitting at one of the tables, watching the games. But there's more here; it's a children's playground, several trails throughout the wooded areas, and the paths are cleared of debris. It's a really clean park, the tables aren't stained. There are plenty of garbage cans throughout. It's plenty of parking; even on Saturday, when the park was packed, we still got a place. I like that the big trees block out more of the sun, giving Lulu more time to enjoy her walks and being nosy. As you can see in the picture, there's a little bookhouse, and I bought some books the other day to drop off. That's the least I can do, my way of apologizing to the ducks and turtles for Lulu barking and wagging her tail at them.

I was hiking alone on a trail once in 2023 and a light green snake rose from the ground and intensely stared at me. This snake was taller than me and I'm 5'6 for reference. The specific trail I was on was connected to the playgrounds. This was a terrifying and honestly traumatic experience; but I wanted to share my experience as a warning because I know lots of people bring their kids and pets there. Please be safe if you choose to go; but no matter how beautiful it is I can't recommend due to safety issues concerning the wilderness. I only walked away from the snake incident unscathed by the grace of God.

We only visited the playground, but there was a lively basketball court, the pool, a splash pad, a covered patio with seating, and public restrooms. I loved that the restrooms were right next to the splash pad (and very close to the playground) and not locked inside the pool gates, so we were able to access them after the pool closed. The splash pad is open 8-8, which is really nice with the later sunset. We arrived around 5:30 and there were a few kids playing in it. By 6:45, it was completely empty. I didn't feel like my toddler would get run over if we decided to play in it on a slow day. The playground was busy but the equipment was so expansive it didn't feel crowded. There was also a smaller toddler structure, baby swings, adult swings, a really nice 4 seater seesaw, some sort of merry go round that was occupied by teenagers, and a couple benches. I believe there was also one picnic table on the playground. The playground structure is so large that I was able to comfortably fit through it at 9 months pregnant. My toddler had a blast. It has a lot of options and variety in heights, slides, climbing skills, etc. He also enjoyed watching the basketball court from within the playground. We'll definitely be back. One thing I didn't see was a water fountain, not even by the bathrooms. But I could've missed it somewhere.

YELP brought me here and I was impressed. There's several trails to walk and some playground areas for the kids. Also basketball, discgolf, and volleyball here for plenty of activities. The people do a great service by keeping the park clean and well-kept. Probably some of the best grass cuts I've seen. Well done, Tomball!

Dog park review:…read more This park is great if you want some space for your dog to roam/run around in. I believe the dog park for big dogs is 2 acres (?) or something like that. They have kiddie pools you can fill up with water, over by the hose to the side. There is a fire hydrant that mists water when you press down on the button. There are benches/places to sit throughout the park, with the largest being the gazebo at the front, near the fence. If you ever want to host some sort of puppy gathering, this would be the place to do it. Plenty of room!
