    What a beautiful park
    Jessica M.

Very Clean, Very Nice, Very Quiet, got a blanket, some snacks, took my puppy, we watched about 23 ducks and ducklings swim, the fountain is just great, you can tell the park is kept up, it smells like outside instead of like a dirty pond, there is no trash, a big playground, picnic tables ! Pretty cool place to go and relax !!! Lots of parking ! I love it and will be back

I visited this park today before noon and it was empty on a Saturday. The park itself is pretty nice, clean and cozy. Nice pond area too. The dog park itself was not that stimulating. It looked like it was in dire need of maintenance. One of the gates were broken meaning dogs can actually escape and run off - not good. Actually there was a dog missing sign posted at one of the gates. A bunch of wood chips in the dog park - meh. There was a bunch of large dog droppings left behind which is unsanitary even though there was plenty of doggy bags in the dog park area - lazy owners. I'll make another attempt at visiting this dog park in a few weeks since it's close to my home. Hopefully it'll be a better experience and if so I'll update my review.

One of my favorite parks in The Woodlands! They have a wonderful track where many people walk/jog in the morning. They have a skate park, kids' park, lake, Picnic area, basketball court, tennis court, beach volleyball, dog park (gated area where you can unleash your dog) and so much more!! Five stars doesn't do justice for this park, really. The entire area is full of trees, it's a perfect place to relax and/or exercise. It's such a friendly atmosphere and I try to come on my free mornings and evenings.

Love that they have a toddler area and big kid play area. Although the big kid area is easy for…read moretoddlers to navigate. The playground looks new. Like they just replaced it. Definitely wear tennis shoes or closed toe shoes here. The trails are a good mixture of dirt and then some parts are cement. Nice fishing spot as well. Catch and release only. Be careful letting smaller kids near the pond. I have seen a kid slip and fall in. He was okay and got out, but after seeing that I keep an extra eye on my kids if we want to get close to the pond. They have a sand volleyball court. Lots of walking trails. Even behind the trees where a retention pond is. They have covered pavilions with picnic tables and bbq pits. Also love that the playground is covered and kids can play in the shade. That's a MUST for Texas parks!

Super impressed by this park!…read more They've done a really great job with adding beautiful manmade waterfalls and such. The walking trail is very pleasant. FYI: the trail is paved and stroller accessible. On the way back, we took another trail which was dirt and had no issue taking the stroller on that as well. Nice playground for kids. There are bathrooms just past the playground. I initially thought they were closed because the gate had the lock still on it (in a locked position) but luckily, someone advised me that they were actually open. So, don't go by appearances and actually tug on the door! There are two relatively small parking lots that fill up quickly but there is also street parking available.

Oh Yeah, serenity abounds in this beautiful Woodlands Park…read more There are over 110 parks in The Woodlands but this one is special to me. This one has a beautiful lake with a waterfall which cascades over a bridge walkway. The meandering shape of the lake is just so graceful and relaxing to look upon. Some cool features are the fact you can walk down to the waters edge and just take in the beauty of the water gently splashing up on the grassy shores with big Texas shade trees and baby ducks sleeping in the grassy areas. Sit on the walkway wall right above the waterfall and watch the waterfall as you drift away daydreaming mindlessly without a care in the world. There's a couple of picnic tables to bring a snack and just hang out with a total 360 view of the lake. Picturesque for photos. Nicely manicured grass areas and natural grassy terrain - you choose. Catch and release fishing. You can ride your bike up to the waters edge or drive your car and just park on the side. There use to be many large wild ducks and geese which would walk across Cochrans Crossing and hold up traffic. Don't seem to see the big wild ones anymore. If you do and are new to this park don't feed them. They'll come running fast after you and will ATTACK. I've been chased out by them snapping at the bottom of my jeans. I even had to throw pine cones on the ground to deter them letting them think it was food to escape. Anyway it seems like the LARGE WILD ATTACK DUCKS have moved on and the park is back to a more ZEN feeling.
