The work was not completed on the 5th day as promised so we scheduled for them to be here on Saturday at 9AM sharp to complete work; they again texted that they were going to be late. They had no consideration for my time and the work was subpar. After the last text that they were going to be late on Saturday I told them they were no longer needed. I am now going to hire someone else to complete/fix their work.

Immediately upon corresponding, he was very professionalism, listened to my concerns about the situation, and tailored the price and the amount of work to the specifications of what I required and requested. I greatly appreciated that attention to detail. He can on on the date expected and agreed to to prepare the area, clean it, and to get an assessment of what all would need to be done. The following day, he laid the concrete and placed appropriate draining which I didn't even thing to ask about, and that too is much appreciated. We hired PGC Installation / Gerald to repair our home after hurricane Helene . The project is not…read morefinished to date . Gerald always has an excuse why he or his guys cannot do what they were paid for and agreed to. We attempted to work with Gerald in the beginning . Guy never showed when he said he would. There is always a reason work cannot be done ie waiting on permits , the batch plant was behind , the lumber mill was behind , he was running behind. The small amount of work that was done was substandard . When you question him about his/his guys work he will lead with trying to berate you. As he is the licensed and bonded expert. They laid shingles over partially repaired structure , of course no drip edge , ridge vent severely off Centered and I was told that he was the professional and he was satisfied because the was the only licensed residential builder in the conversation. When I told him that I had other roofing companies come inspect to see how much it was gonna cost me to clean up his mess he said that he would sue the other companies if they said his work was substandard. ( Several VERY reputable roofing companies ) wanted no part of doing the roof after looking at the structural repairs that PGC made and wrote letters to show the reasons that they wouldn't accept the work . PGC used previously used synthetic membrane from the tear off with holes in it with the previous roofing companies logo on it to repair a leak in the synthetic membrane that they installed. The roof was left with no shingles and only said membrane for almost two weeks . The day they removed the shingle's from the roof they left piles of shingles and nails in front of both entrances to the home. We had to tell him that we didn't feel comfortable that one of the two gentlemen tearing off the roof had a baby crying in the truck parked in my front yard when I came home from work. It was immediately brought to his attention because that is a liability that I was not willing to shoulder .It took MONTHS to pour a 16x20 concrete pad for my out building that still stands empty ( as in no building or even the materials that were paid for) . We rented a VBRO for almost two months during the time that he was scheduled ( a timeline he agreed to with the insurance company I might add )to repair the inside of the home and replace the duct work. Never worked on our home during the time table that HE set . He also asked for an extension and never showed then either . We retained an attorney and sent a right to cure letter which is required by the state of South Carolina to before you can terminate a contract and sue a contractor. The process server could not locate him at the address on his contract , nor the address that is registered with the state to serve him with a lawsuit .Then we attempted to tap his bond ,he is bonded but not for the amount that he signed that he had with our bank. The bond was denied because he claims he was fired with no right to cure letter . The last interaction we had with Gerald he used inflammatory statements and then used his phone to PARTIALLY record part of the response to try and say he was fired. I have every text , email , picture, document to back every statement that has been made in this review. I will gladly meet him for a day in court if he should ever choose to show up and be a man and accept responsibility for his and his companies actions . If anyone has any questions I will be glad to prove EVERY statement that has been made here. Steer clear of this company make sure you look further than the google reviews you will find similar stories. It is only fair that the CSRA should know and see the work of PGC Installation so that they can make an informed decision . Gerald if you wish to respond to this please do so with your attorney as mine has been waiting for your response for months .

In January 2022 Eric the owner of this company came out and did an estimate for my landscaping. I have a medium size backyard (3600 sq ft) and was having general yard cleaning, a sprinkler system and sod installed. I was told that they could begin in late February or the first week in March and finish before Masters. They finished at the end of May. IT TOOK THEM FOUR MONTHS TO DO 7 DAYS OF WORK! The owner Eric and I had already agreed to additional landscaping and sod in the front yard. That was supposed to be done in June, then July, then by the end of the summer. In October I was told by Eric that it would be best if I waited for the sod until March of 2023. They could put the sod down in the fall (of 2022) but it might not make it and that would be on me. AFTER WAITING FIVE MONTHS I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD WAIT AN ADDITIONAL SIX MONTHS! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATIONS! I would email, text or call and leave messages. Even after Eric and I had a conversation specifically about this issue, multiple times HE WOULDN'T RESPOND FOR WEEKS OR EVEN A MONTH OR MORE! All along I was being told that the delays were due to lack of employees or materials. I was trying to be flexible with the timeline but was just being taken advantage of. The final straw was when the owner Eric told me that he was having problems keeping up with a new residential housing development that he recently got the contract for. So, HE GOT A NEW JOB AND LEFT ME HANGING, even thought we had been discussing this since January. Finally, this February (2023) I noticed that there were several large patches of dirt where the sod had been laid. I called Eric to see if he would replace the sod. I explained that I was only talking about the dirt areas where the sod had clearly died. He said that he would definitely call me back with a time that he would stop by to look at it. It has been 2 weeks and no contact what so ever. No surprise there. I regret the day I even heard of this company. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
