For the past 3 years I've been going to his barber Will and in the past month I don't if something has happened in Will's personal life but he has been rude, unprofessional, and hostile to say the least. We had an issue with the appointment service that Royalty Chop Shop uses. I called the shop 3 times, six hours before my appointment, all calls sent to voicemail. I called and texted Will, no answer. I even called and texted the owner Alex, with no answer. Even when I rescheduled online, I called again to try and confirm my appointment was to be rescheduled for the next day. Still no answer. When I called the next day, they confirmed the shop was closed and rescheduled, then hung up. They then called me back to tell me to reschedule again, wanting to charge me for a second time. After telling them the many times I called, Will jumped on the phone and told me that he is a busy man and it's not his job to pick up clients phone calls or text. When I told him that I called the shop he said it wasn't his job and since I was his only client that had a problem with their software that I can find another barber. I haven't received my refund and I called Alex and left messages countless times. I'll find another barber, but if this is the type of business you're going to run with short tempered young kids that don't have good communication skills and bring personal problems to work and take them out on paying customers then you will fail. Hundreds of barbers in White Plains alone, find a new shop!

I didn't have much to talk to the barber this time as I was getting hungry. Once my barber finishes with my cut, he applied a cotton ball soaked with alcohol before I applied my own aftershave. I paid the barber and left to get back home for lunch, taking my backpack and headphones along the way. What I like about the barbershop is that the barbers took pride in their haircraft, knifework and a sense of camaraderie, which is essential in a business. I showed her the photos and she did a wash, cut , and dry($45). We've talked about retail service and how sometimes she gets crazy customers, now I understand why.
