I'm a professional auctioneer (MA lic#119) who has used Maxsold for about 2 years now. I couldn't be happier. Many of the poor reviews here, have to do with the fact that the people writing them don't understand the terms and conditions of Maxsold or the auction process in general. The company is VERY TRANSPARENT. For example, if one wants to get a legitimate feel for how much items can sell for, I suggest they go to the Past Auctions results, where visitors can see what items have actually sold for at the end of every auction. NO OTHER AUCTION COMPANY that I know of lists such an extensive past auction history - for free. (This Past Auctions Record is also a valuable tool for pricing research) The fact that all items start at $1.00 and sell without reserve, (aka Absolute Auction) is the secret sauce. The absolute auction model is overall the most successful and most popular format in the auction industry. As far as claims that Maxsold doesn't do any advertising, many of you reading this realize that this isn't true. They extensively advertise on all major social media fronts, TV and Radio. After holding over 30 auctions with Maxsold, I've never gotten ONE late payment. Below are core metrics from a recent auction I had on Maxsold with some collectibles, bric-a-brac and coins etc. I CANNOT get those kind of results ANYWHERE else for these kinds of items! 1. Almost 8,000 views! 2. 3071 Bids! 3. 99.62% sell through! I love the auction industry, I've been in it since the late 1970s and I just hate to see a good company bashed by people who don't understand the auction process, Maxsold is a good company. If I had a better place to sell my estate finds, I would use it! Thank You for Indulging!

They take a huge commission and sell a bunch of valuable items for a $1. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

There are different booths and each one is labeled with any sales that might be going on, but there aren't many staff members, so it was kind of difficult to shop. There are a lot of items that are locked in cabinets and you would presumably have to grab someone from the first floor to unlock it if you wanted to have a closer look. I wasn't trying to spend a ton anyways and am usually happy just browsing, so I just got a small ceramic cup that wasn't locked in anything. There was a booth on the first floor selling fine jewelry and tennis bracelets that were gorgeous but out of my price range. There were a ton of eclectic interesting things here, some kind of grimy and some in pristine condition--truly a one man's trash is another's treasure sort of place. I would definitely come again to browse.

They have everything, clothes, decorations, kitchenware, large furniture--basically anything and everything. There's elevators and they do have a parking lot although parking was tight and crowded. But it is also accessible by Lechmere station. We found some cool paintings and a decorative dish. I would come back here! You can pay by card and the workers were friendly. Some things were pricey but some reasonable, it depends on the booth you were purchasing from.

Found this coin zippy wallet in this blue Epi using the Tradesy app. Wow what a steal I price I got this item for. This piece retails $430 brand new, and this piece I got for $135. The pics on tradesy did not do it justice. The leather had no cracks, and a minor boo boo here and there on the outside but over all this piece is in pretty good condition for being made in 2013. It's 6yrs old plus now. Super happy with the item, the purchase and this company! Thanks for the a smooth transaction and super fast shipping. I'll have to check you guys out again!
